GLENN: Okay. I want to go, I want to spend just a little bit here on, I'm
torn between the Jimmy Carter blaming Fox for people believing that, you know,
he's a Barack Obama's a Muslim, or the Arianna Huffington which I have not heard
yet. So you decide, Pat. Yeah.
PAT: It's up to me?
GLENN: It's up to you. Two minutes.
PAT: Let's see. If we have two minutes, we might go with the shorter one, which
is Jimmy Carter.
GLENN: Here it is.
CARTER: Well, nowadays we have the cable news services and we didn't have them
when I was president. In fact, CNN was formed in 1980, my last year in the White
House.
VOICE: Right.
CARTER: And now with the discussion groups, for instance, on Fox News that are
totally biased and they implant completely false images not only of the facts
about legislation that's passed or doesn't get passed but also about the
character of President Obama and they have been successful in projecting him as
a person who's not a citizen of America. Who's not a
GLENN: Hold on just a second. Hold on just a second. Can you name the show on
Fox that has implanted that the president is not a citizen of America?
PAT: Never once seen that on Fox News, not once.
GLENN: I haven't seen that. I haven't seen that.
PAT: No one.
GLENN: Everybody that I know at Fox News says that's nonsense.
PAT: Yep.
GLENN: Everybody. Everybody. I don't think I know a person. Have you thought you
don't even have to name names. Have you met anybody in the hallway or anything
that says, you know, he's not a citizen.
STU: No.
GLENN: Not one.
STU: Nope.
GLENN: Not one. Okay. Next.
CARTER: Christian but a Muslim and is not
PAT: Oh, and he's not a Christian. He's a Muslim.
GLENN: And he's not a Christian. He's a Muslim.
PAT: Not one.
GLENN: I will tell you that and I lead the roster on this one that say that he's
not a Christian as most Christians understand it. Neither am I. You know, he is
a he is a collective salvation guy. I have heard that. But here's the last of
it.
CARTER: He's not a Democrat but he's a socialist and so forth.
GLENN: Okay, there's almost everybody believes he's a socialist and not a
Democrat. I can't speak for those.
STU: What, 60% of the American public?
GLENN: Bill O'Reilly doesn't believe that. There's a lot of other people at Fox
that don't. The other thing? Just nonsense, Jimmy.
