In the year since he lost five of his children in a Bronx blaze, Moussa Magassa has found solace in tiny miracles - babies born one day apart to two of his wives.
Ten months after the March 7 fire, Magassa, 46, became a proud papa to two boys and a girl. One son was born to his wife Manthia on Jan. 4 at Bronx Lebanon Hospital Center. The next day, wife Aisse gave birth to twins at the same hospital.
"Whatever God gives me, I'll take it," said Moussa Magassa, who practices polygamy, a common tradition in his home country, Mali. "I love children. It's great to have them."
One of the newborn twins, a girl, died suddenly last month, leaving him with nine children from his three wives.
