About Glenn Beck
In addition to being a leading radio personality, Glenn Beck is the host of a hugely successful self-titled television show on Headline News; the publisher of “Fusion,” a monthly magazine that boasts tens of thousands of subscribers; a contributor to ABC’s Good Morning America; and a #1 New York Times best-selling author of “An Inconvenient Book: Real Solutions to the World’s Biggest Problems.” Making his radio debut 30 years ago at the age of 13, he was a successful Top 40 DJ for many years. However, by the age of 30, Beck lost his passion for radio due to his alcoholism and drug addiction. Upon gaining sobriety, he discovered his enthusiasm for talk radio, and took his career in a new direction. Eventually, he assumed the 18th position time slot at WFLA-AM in Tampa, Florida, and took it to the #1 position in his first year, giving the station its highest ratings ever. Within 18 months, Premiere Radio Networks offered Beck the opportunity to go national. In Jan. 2002, The Glenn Beck Program debuted on 47 stations. Today, the show is heard on 300 stations and on XM Satellite Radio.
Talk Radio 760 KFMB is San Diego’s Heritage News/Talk station. Known for reflecting the lifestyle of the San Diego community, 760 KFMB’s 50,000-watt signal can be heard throughout Southern California from the Mexican border to Santa Barbara.
