The Democratic "Dream Ticket" would get thumped in True Blue New York by the GOP duo of John McCain and Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, a stunning new WSNB/Marist poll found.
A McCain-Rice ticket would rake in support from 49% of Empire State voters compared, to 46% who would go for a Hillary Clinton-Barack Obama combo.
The Democrats’ odds only get worse if Obama is at the top of the ticket. The unlikely GOP tandem would win by 5 points, 49% to 44%.
But Rice insists she has no desire to be VP.
