Have you seen this survey on the most-believed conspiracy theories in America?

It's no surprise the survey has been getting so much attention. The results are actually a pretty disturbing.

I decided to put together a quick survey of my own, with slightly different wording.

Up-vote the ones you agree with and down-vote the ones you disagree with.

I believe Lee Harvey Oswald killed JFK alone. However, I would not be surprised to find out the government sealed evidence that others were involved.


If by "deep state" you mean long-time Washington power brokers who are used to calling the shots and now feel threatened by Donald Trump not listening to their advice or council — yes, I do believe that many people like that are working against him and his administration.


Whether alien bodies are in Area 51 or not, I do believe the government knows more about UFOs than they have told us.


I do not believe the U.S. government was involved in 9/11, but as we know, NSA advisor Sandy Berger was caught destroying documents from the national archives related to both Bush and Clinton. All U.S. administrations have been to close to the Saudis, and the Saudis were involved in 9/11 at some level.


I believe the climate is always changing — it's natural. I would be willing to accept that man MAY play a role in this. But I do not believe in the solutions currently being discussed, nor do I believe the intention of most political activists are pure.


Any talk of the Illuminati provides the true dangers to man's freedom — like very powerful NGOS and men like George Soros — a perfect cover.


The U.S. government has done some horrible experiments on people and land — I also suspect they will do more things in the future. But I do not believe in the systematic spraying of chemicals using chemtrails.


The moon landing was real, but I see a time coming when people will not be able to trust their eyes due to deep fakes.

As the country prepared for the devastating arrival of Hurricane Harvey, President Trump announced he would pardon embattled Arizona sheriff Joe Arpaio.

"Throughout his time as sheriff, Arpaio continued his life's work of protecting the public from the scourges of crime and illegal immigration. Sheriff Joe Arpaio is now 85 years old, and after more than 50 years of admirable service to our nation, he is (a) worthy candidate for a Presidential pardon," Trump said.

The U.S. Department of Justice concluded that Arpaio oversaw the worst pattern of racial profiling in U.S. history, and subsequently filed suit against him for unlawful discriminatory police conduct. Arpaio was found guilty of criminal contempt of court for demonstrating “flagrant disregard” for another federal judge’s order to stop his signature immigration round-ups. Arpaio's office paid more than $146 million in fees, settlements and court awards.

Racial profiling wasn't the only abuse committed by Arpaio.

During his tenure as sheriff, at least 160 inmates died from brutality, neglect, suicide, disease, bad health, or old age in Arpaio’s jails. In many cases we have no way of knowing the cause of death, because the sheriff’s office never bothered to investigate.

From the Foundation for Economic Education:

Operating on the premise that all those who enter the system are undeserving of dignity, Sheriff Joe was once dubbed the “meanest man in the west,” and this was not without cause.

Sheriff Joe preferred to operate his correctional facilities like prison camps, where routine humiliation and dehumanizing techniques were used with pleasure. In these facilities, the incarcerated population was forced to sleep outside in old Korean War tents, exposed to the elements of the Arizona desert, even in extreme weather.

Forcing his prisoners, both men and women alike, to don old fashioned “chain-gang” striped jumpsuits, Arpaio is a firm believer in humiliation. In fact, he has frequently been heard bragging in front of the inmates that he spends more on food for his guard dogs than he does on his inmates. A fact that is unfortunately all too true.

For his first presidential pardon, Trump certainly made a controversial choice.

In Kentucky, Lexington Mayor Jim Gray announced plans to move two Confederate statues from a public area near a historic courthouse. In Maryland, Baltimore Mayor Catherine Pugh decided Tuesday to take down all monument under the cover of darkness for the "security and safety" of the city.

The great-great grandson of Gen. Robert E. Lee condemned the violence in Charlottesville, saying it might be "appropriate" for Confederate statues to be exhibited in a museum.

"Eventually, someone is going to have to make a decision, and if that's the local lawmaker, so be it. But we have to be able to have that conversation without all of the hatred and the violence. And if they choose to take those statues down, fine," Robert E. Lee V, 54, of Washington DC, told CNN.

According to the National Trust for Historic Preservation (NTHP), there are currently hundreds of monuments to the Confederate cause in America, located in 31 states. NTHP states that while some monuments were erected shortly after the war by grieving Southern families to honor the valor of fallen leaders and loved ones, many more were put in place to go hand-in-hand with the enforcement of Jim Crow-era laws. As such, a case-by-case review might be necessary to put each monument in full historical context.

The former NFL star had this to say at his parole hearing:

“I’ve done my time. I’ve done it as well and as respectfully as I think anyone can.”

His most jaw-dropping statement showed a convenient case of memory loss:

I’m in no danger to pull a gun on anybody. I’ve never been accused of it. Nobody has ever accused me of pulling any weapon on them.

Putting aside the notable point that he was convicted of armed robbery, the families of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman might have a thing or two to say about Simpson's ludicrous claim.

In 1994, Simpson infamously got off scot-free for the stabbing deaths of his wife Nicole and her friend Ron. He was most definitely accused of "pulling a weapon on them." To this day, many believe O.J. committed the crime.
