The biggest video game on the planet right now is easily Fortnite. There are kids and adults that play it on their consoles at home, their computers at work and on their phones while waiting for the light to turn green… you probably shouldn't do those last two.
This game is probably the biggest thing in pop culture right now, and the most successful and famous player is undisputedly Tyler "Ninja" Blevins… your kids probably just call him Ninja. And if your kids, or even you, play Fortnite, there's no question you know who this. You won't believe the audience this guy has. Ninja has over 16 million subscribers on YouTube, 10 million on Twitch and more than 3 million on Twitter. After the ad revenue and subscriber income, Ninja's social media generated salary is over $500,000… a month. Every year he's a millionaire six times over simply for playing a video game. Ok, maybe not simply… he's actually is pretty dang good.

Ninja recently gave an interview at Polygon.com where he addressed the question of why he never streams his videos with women. He teams up with male gamers all the time, but not women. He said:
I don't play with female gamers. If I have one conversation with one female streamer where we're playing with one another, and even if there's a hint of flirting, that is going to be taken and going to be put on every single video and be clickbait forever.
The internet, and especially the gaming social media community, are a cesspool of rumors, accusations and criticism, but why would Ninja care so much? If he were linked to high profile female gamers, wouldn't that increase his street cred? Wouldn't that translate to even more subscribers and money? It probably would, but Ninja clarified that his strict streaming policy has to do with respect for his wife and protecting their marriage from toxic rumors and harassment.
I mean, who can't respect that? Well… feminists can't. Here's a little taste of the crazy backlash he's getting:
By refusing to play with female streamers, he may feel like he's staying out of things. But in reality, he's only reinforcing the idea that female streamers should be avoided, that they come with drama attached, and that there is an inherent sexualization when playing with them.
Whoever the target of the day is, they need to be destroyed… at all costs.
So let's get this straight for a second. First, they're harassing him and showing that he was right all along. Second, these are the same voices that would have criticized and taken comments out of context in order to internet shame him. It's the reason why he doesn't do it. But when they found that out, and inadvertently got called out, they still found a way to virtue signal for the feminist cause. Is there any way to win in this social justice world? I don't think so, and that's probably the point.
Whoever the target of the day is, they need to be destroyed… at all costs.
