Linda Sarsour: The Serena Williams of 4th Wave Feminism. She and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez have really hit it off. Sarsour, a co-chair of the National Women's March, made news last week when she was one of the uncountable numbers of protestors to interrupt the Kavanaugh confirmation hearing. And whose friendship with Louis Farrakhan is incredibly well documented—it turns out they bond on anti-Semitism.
A far less reported, far less "heroic" Sarsour event happened at the annual Islamic Society of North America convention in Houston when Sarsour excoriated Muslims for "humanizing Jews." Humanizing. As in, treating them as if they are humans. As in, Sarsour does not believe that Jews are humans.
RELATED: The hypocritical feminism of Linda Sarsour
She has a history of inflammatory anti-Israel, pro-Palestine remarks, many of which are ghastly and jaw-dropping.
At the convention, she told her audience:
You as an American Muslim are complicit in the occupation of Palestinians, in the murder of Palestinian protesters.
She added:
So when we start debating in the Muslim community about Palestine, it tells me a lot about you and about the type of faith that you have in your heart. If you're on the side of the oppressor, or you're defending the oppressor, or you're actually trying to humanize the oppressor, then that's a problem sisters and brothers, and we got to be able to say: 'That is not the position of the Muslim American community.'
This is the state of modern Feminism.
This is the state of modern Feminism. A virulent racist, anti-Semite and—based on her opinions regarding Sharia law and female genital mutilation—general misogynist is somehow able to lead the feminist movement here in America. Like, literally lead it. As in, the Women's March.
And here we are, having to listen to long-winded justifications about Serena Williams' despicable behavior—she was a victim of sexism and racism, they claim—while Linda Sarsour, a so-called feminist ideal, supports racism and hatred and misogyny on an unbelievable scale. Fair play to them, though, they found a way to never lose. They found a way to always win, however dirty their tactics are.
