We are now on Day 2 of our 40 Day Challenge—a challenge that will prepare our hearts, minds, and bodies for the historic journey that begins on 8/28 in Birmingham, Alabama.
Remember, as long as we have one another and the full amour of God, “who can stand against us"?
We must place others before ourselves—putting their needs before our own.
What are some daily examples of how we can focus more on others rather than ourselves?
Call a friend you have been meaning to reach out to and cheer them up, reach out to someone you have worried about in the office or that you don't know. It's time we step out of our comfort zones and care for others.
MLK Pledge - #5:
Sacrifice personal wishes in order that all men might be free.
“No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted." - Aesop
Please add your comments to my Facebook page, as I will be responding to it. Also pass these along to anyone you know that may want to stand with us.
Have you fallen behind on the challenge? Catch up on what you missed here.
