Calling.
Today's Reading:
Question:
How do you find your calling?
This is the hardest thing to do. Find your calling. We are not only required to find out why we were sent with the gifts we have but then we must find the right destination, heading and speed.
I feel like my calling is to be a watchman on the tower and to build a framework of hope and courage. Every day I wrestle with how. Every night I am haunted by my faults and lack of understanding of His vision.
Many of us have been on auto pilot our whole lives. Not any more. We must pay attention to the heavens and make sure our polar star is fixed. We must remain humble enough to do His will and not ours.
God is not on our side. We are on His. We were chosen to live here at this time for a reason.
What did you promise Him you would do? He knew you before you were born.
Application:
Today, find your calling by praying and seeking God and asking Him, “God what is Your calling on my life, what would you have me do today?" If you already know your calling, are you obediently exercising your calling in your daily life?

Quote:
“In every age there comes a time when a leader must come forward to meet the needs of the hour. Therefore, there is no potential leader who does not have the opportunity to make a positive difference in society." - Winston Churchill
