Armor of God. We must prepare our heart and mind.
Today's Reading:
Question:
Do you have an everyday routine to prepare for the day ahead? Does it include a quiet time? Does it include reading His word? If your son was at war, would you suggest he go into battle with only body armor? Or would you want to fill him with the best physical fuel and fill his mind with the confidence of God? Why do you go into battle everyday without doing the same thing?
Application:
Make time every morning before you start your day to sit quietly, self-reflect, and read. Even if you have to wake-up 10 minutes earlier than yesterday. Make it a healthy habit to sit quietly and reflect, preparing for the day.
MLK Pledge - #9:
Strive to be in good spiritual and physical health.
Quote:
“We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit." – Aristotle
