'Game of Thrones' draft: Has Stu learned nothing from his assignment?

On Thursday's show, Stu had Glenn put together a mock draft for the top ten picks for the NFL draft. Well, things didn't go all that well for Glenn. He only got two that were somewhat close, so Friday, he got his revenge. Stu has been watching the last season of 'Game of Thrones' without any context from previous seasons so he was tasked with placing the characters in the correct house. How did he do? You'll have to watch.

Leftists LOSE IT over migrants in DC, but WHAT ABOUT TEXAS?

Finally America's border crisis has received an appropriate level of outrage from the mainstream media and the far-left — BUT only when Washington, D.C. is concerned. In this clip, Glenn details the 'SICKENING' hypocrisy concerning our immigration issue. Leftists are LOSING IT over the thousands of migrants entering their beloved cities, but this is what Texas — and other border states — have been dealing with for YEARS! Listen to find out the SHOCKING budget D.C. leaders have to fix this issue, compared to the much smaller one for border towns that actually are being OVERRUN.

GLENN: Wow. Just reading an email that was just sent from New York City's human resources administration to all names on its distribution list. And -- and the Epic Times just got a hold of it. It urged all staff, who can work overtime to do so, to deal with a drastic influx of asylum seekers in Manhattan and other boroughs. Internal requests comes a week after the mayor, Eric Adams described a growing stream of illegal aliens coming to the Big Apple as a real burden on New Yorkers. Oh. Because New York already has overburdened shelter systems. Oh. Again. DSS at HRA leadership in recent weeks, we have seen a drastic influx of asylum seekers coming into our shelter intake sites. Jeez, where do you think they're coming from? These must be from the Canadian border, hmm?

So it's urgent. The city says they don't have the money to deal with it. It's very much like the problems that you're seeing, of course, with those 4,000 immigrants that have been shipped from Arizona, and Texas, on a bus. And they say, sometimes in the middle of the night, these people are just brought in. Without the city's knowledge. Oh, my gosh. That's unheard of.

So I just have been crunching some numbers. 4,000 illegal immigrants have come in, over the last couple of months, to Washington, DC. Uh-huh. Okay.

Four thousand. Does Washington, DC -- because this is a crisis. They can't afford it. They need federal assistance. A federal emergency has to be declared. 4,000 over the last couple of months. Do they know that the Border Patrol in Texas, is arresting more than 4,000 illegal immigrants every day. And those are the ones, you know, that we've arrested. The small border towns have to cope with the -- oh, it's only one thousand illegal immigrants. No. Let me count the zeros.

Oh, no. It's 1 million illegal immigrants to these little teeny border towns. Oh. Man. Holy cow. Well, what is New York going to do? You know, mayor Adams was complained about it, even though the buses were only going to Washington, DC. Somehow or another, people are finding their way to New York. And they're homeless. And he doesn't know what to do.

You know, Del Rio, has a population of 35,000, and -- and 35,000 people now a shantytown of just Haitian illegals, that sprung up overnight, of 15,000. So just about half the population now, is illegal. And there's 1,000 illegal immigrants, coming up, every day in Del Rio.

That is -- wow. 1,000 every day. So in four days, it equals, what Washington, DC, has had to deal with. Oh, poor Washington, DC. What they had to deal with. Over the last four months. Oh, my gosh. How are they doing it? Screw Del Rio, how is Washington, DC, doing it? By the way, by the end of Biden's term at this rate, the number of people let in at the border, will exceed 6 million people.

So let's look at this. Okay. So Washington, DC, is in a crisis. It is really bad. They have a budget, that was set at 17.5 billion dollars for the budget. Wow. That's a lot. Huh. Okay. $17.5 billion. Where are they going to squeeze the money for those 4,000 immigrants that they've gotten over there over the last four months. You know? Del Rio's budget on the other hand. 17.5 billion will sound like peanuts. Del Rio's full budget, full budget. All of it. Is $107 million. As opposed to 17.5 billion.

So it's only 163 times more than Del Rios. You know, if you look at Del Rio's budget -- and I'll give you the full budget here. However, however, let's do the math here. Because if you look at Washington, DC, 17 billion. Yeah. But they have a lot going on. So let's just look at what -- what money is used just on homelessness, in Washington, DC. It's $31 million. Okay.

Now, the total possible border immigration budget, I mean, that has taken Capex expenses. Everything. Everything.

That is the bus system. The economic development corporation. The channel. Room tax. Nutrition services. The service for women, infant, and children. All transportation. The entire administration. Transportation operations. All of that. Economic development.

You take all of that, and they have a whopping total, that you could -- you would collapse the rest of the -- but you would still have money. You would still have the lights on at city hall. You have 23,253,335. Okay. Compared to DC, which solely focused on homelessness, is 31 million.

Okay. All right. I -- okay.

I'm trying to see what the problem here is. With Washington, DC. New York is also reporting not to receive any of the bused immigrants. And they're now, having a budget of $101.7 billion. Hmm. Just to put that into perspective, El Paso is 5 percent of DC's budget. Brownsville, .9 percent of DC's total budget. They have 4,000. 4,000 in DC. And it's a national emergency.

Okay. All right. McAllen, it's 3 percent of DC's total budget. Laredo has 1.24 percent of DC's total budget. These towns are being swamped with people. There are more immigrants than there are residents, in those towns. And do you see the media doing anything about it? Do you see anybody that cares about those towns? Because I'm seeing a huge, huge uproar in the press, on how cruel it is, to just take these poor migrants and put them on a bus and ship them into a city like Washington, DC, that is just not prepared. But Texas. New Mexico. Arizona.

We're just expected to bring them all in. Millions. Bring them in. Sure. We've got all this money down here in Texas. Because we're oil and gas. Oh, wait. We're not selling the oil and gas. Because we've been shut off by this organization. Well, I'm sure we have money coming out of our ears. These small towns. You know, of 30,000 people. Out of those 30,000, you're telling me, that there's not a billionaire or two in town that won't even miss it. I mean, I can go on a block. Take just the Bloomberg building. There's, you know, 10,000 people living in there. Through -- you know, one-third the population of -- of any of these towns, Del Rio. One-third. And how many billionaires just live in that one building? Come on. Cough up your billionaires, Laredo. Cough them up. Time for them to pay their fair share. This is sickening. It's absolutely sickening.

When New York is affected or Washington, DC, is affected, at all, by this. The media goes crazy, and talks about how cruel, and how these poor people are suffering. And they have been -- mothers have been abused. On their way into America. And who is going to care for them? Yeah. That's what we've been saying the whole time. Except, you only care about it, when money is involved.

We in Texas, and other border states are dealing with this every single day. We're seeing people firsthand. Yeah. But you flew a drone over. You know, CNN was there with a drone. So they could see it.

Yeah. Yeah. I'm thinking about sending buses up to CNN. You know what, guys, CNN will welcome you. Just go to the TimeWarner center. They are going to love having a bunch of migrants right there at the doors of the TimeWarner Center. Because I know they love immigrants. They love you. You're just as American as they are. Go there. Uh-huh. And they'll help you. It is -- we are so close to winning. And yet, so close to death.

This is going to be -- only one is going to last in the end. And the progressives think it's America that's going to fall. I hope to God, that we are all awake. And I think we are. The -- the trust in the media, is at the lowest ever. But that doesn't mean, you can dis-- disengage. You can unplug and cut the cable. But you have to find the source of information. That you can trust. To keep you up to speed. Because we are very close to the endgame. It could happen this fall. But I think Americans are waking up. And finally, there are some people that are standing up, like Ron DeSantis. Ron DeSantis, standing up with Mickey Mouse. With the head of Mickey Mouse. You know, just letting them dangle by one ear. You know.

I think we're -- I think we're close to winning. Just don't sit down. And listen within let's make Mickey's blood the last blood that is shed, okay? Sure, it's a cartoon mouse. But no more, even cartoon blood. Please.GLENN: Wow. Just reading an email that was just sent from New York City's human resources administration to all names on its distribution list. This SHOCKING summer camp forms kids into far-left ACTIVISTS

Since the 2020 George Floyd riots, America’s streets have been plagued with chaos. It’s become SO bad that now even CHILDREN are villainizing our police officers. But this is what the far-left WANTS. The more chaos, the better. In fact, a new summer camp (in Portland, no surprise) teaches kids how to be activists on the streets. In this clip from his recent Wednesday Night TV special, Glenn shows some of the SHOCKING materials used at this camp — like a coloring book that discusses what to do if tear gassed…

GLENN: America’s war on cops has reached an absurd level when children are cussing out and attacking police officers.

These attacks are the product of the extreme violence ravaging U.S. cities, like this attack on a pedestrian in the Bronx last week. The man was hit by a car and robbed while he laid unconscious in the street.

During a bus ride in Queens last week, a 57-year-old woman was bashed in the head with a blunt object by two girls aged 15 and 16. One of the attackers allegedly yelled at the woman, “Ihate white people.”

This chaos is spillover from the George Floyd riots in 2020 that were allowed to run rampant. A report by the Insurance Information Institute calls those riots, quote: “…the costliest civil unrest in U.S. history with insured losses estimated at over $2 BILLION…”

Where would children develop the idea that violence is acceptable and that cops are automatically the bad guys who are out to get them? You don’t get there overnight. You get there through persistent indoctrination. We’re seeing the Marxist playbook in action. The goal is to destabilize society in order to usher in a new system – out of chaos, create a new order.

In the aftermath of the George Floyd riots, you now see things like “Budding Roses,” a two-week indoctrination camp for kids in Portland, Oregon. It features tons of fun activities like

Black Lives Matter coloring books, and seminars about abolishing the police, racism, white supremacy, student activism, gender, climate change, and more!

Campers are also taught things like, “ways to keep yourself safe if you get tear gassed.” They get a helpful little comic book narrated by an Antifa character who says, quote: “It’s been pretty tense around here lately. You might have some questions. I’m your FRIENDLY NEIGHBORHOOD ANTI-FASCIST, and I’m here to clear some of them up.”

The camp is run by a group called Black Rose Anarchist Foundation. Sounds very safe.

That level of propaganda aimed at youth is how American Marxists are waging their ideological war. Marxists discovered that violent revolution, and even the terrorist attacks of the 1960s and seventies, would not be able to overthrow the U.S. government like they were able to do in other nations. They would have to engage in long-term indoctrination and gradual subversion to achieve revolution.

You never know when your indoctrination efforts might pay off.

Take Harmony Goldberg, for example.

In 1996, she founded the School of Unity and Liberation in Oakland, California. Seven years later, a young Alicia Garza began her Marxist training there. Garza went on to co-found Black Lives Matter.

Another one of BLM’s co-founders, Patrice Cullors, is a self-described Marxist who received her training from Eric Mann. He was a leader in the Weather Underground domestic terrorist group.

After an attack on a police station in 1969, he was charged on four counts including conspiracy to commit murder and promotion of anarchy. He was convicted and spent 18 months in prison. But he eventually created the Labor and Community Strategy Center in Los Angeles where Patrice Cullors showed up as a 17-year-old and spent the next eleven years being trained by Mann as a Marxist “organizer.”

He must have been incredibly proud when his protégé helped lead the most damaging riots in U.S. history.

In August, 2020, after BLM got the Los Angeles School Board to cut its $70 million Police Department budget by 35 percent, Eric Mann called it, “a major ideological victory.”

And what has this Marxist-driven effort to defund police departments brought America over the last two years? More violent crime chaos than ever before.

In Portland, all those Antifa protests on behalf of BLM just made their city more dangerous.

Portland had 58% more homicides in 2020 compared to 2019. In 2021, homicides rose another 54% over 2020. Portland also saw 218 non-fatal shootings in 2020 (more than double the previous year). That number rose to 334 last year.

A recent study finds the majority of homicide suspects in Portland have been arrested an average of SIX TIMES before, and shooting suspects an average of EIGHT TIMES before.

Last week, Portland’s Police Chief implored the community to stop the violence toward police officers, saying quote:

The violence shown last night toward officers and over the weekend is shocking and reprehensible. In the last four days, officers have been shot at, had suspects fight with them, run over by a vehicle and another almost run over.

Baltimore, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, Washington DC, Atlanta, and New York City are all on pace this year to exceed their totals for violent crime in 2021.

Even Denver, of all places, is on pace to see a record-breaking number of murders this year.

In New York City, rapes have increased 11 percent over last year; felony assaults are up 18 percent; and robberies are up 39 percent.

Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot cut her city’s police budget by $80 million.

Last weekend, Chicago had thirty people shot, and four killed.

The previous weekend it was 65 shootings and fived killed. Chicago is a war zone every single weekend.

Never mind that video – it’s just people assaulting a Chicago cop car with fireworks on July fourth.

Scaling back police departments in the name of social justice is not the only factor creating chaos. There is also an insane epidemic of NOT prosecuting criminals. Every day there are headlines from across the nation about criminals being let off the hook. Last week, a sixteen-year-old boy, who already had a criminal record, was arrested for assaulting a police officer in a New York City subway, watch…

The 16-year-old was released the next day.

Why Biden's MASSIVE expansion of the IRS should WORRY YOU

The latest bill being pushed by Democrats — The Inflation Reduction Act — includes within it a MASSIVE expansion of the IRS. How much will the federal agency grow? President Biden wants to hire 80 THOUSAND new agents. Carol Roth, author of ‘The War On Small Business,’ tells Glenn this expansion is NOT to target billionaires committing tax fraud, like Democrats may claim. No, she says, this IRS expansion likely is to target YOU and other middle class Americans who refuse to comply with our far-left leaders in power…

GLENN: Biden is seeking an extra $80 billion. This is on top of the other spending. This is $80 billion, in extra funding, for the IRS, to crack down on tax evasion by those billionaires. Which, not a chance. You just tweeted, they're only going after the billionaire and the wealthy crowd. The government consistently enables wealth transfers to the wealthy. You think that's what they're going to change?

Who has the bucks to support the lobbying and their reelection? Really?

They're going after that. Biden hiring 87,000 new IRS agents to go after 800 or 900 billionaires? Enjoy your audits. What's this about?

CAROL: Yeah. I hope everybody is prepared. This is very frustrating. The Democrats like to pretend that they're the party of the middle and working class. And the Biden administration has continued to find ways to extract wealth from the middle and working class. We saw it in the American rescue plan. They raised the reporting threshold for any sort of hobby sites you might have. To potentially get the flags for audits up. It went from $20,000 on an e Bayer, Etsy down to $600. Now, and this was part of Build Back Better, which we thought was dead. But now is just coming back in pieces. This piece has survived. $80 billion for the IRS. Over which half of that, as you said, is going to hire 87 thousand agents, for enforcement. Okay? We don't need 87,000 agents, to go after what was 800 or 900 billionaires. It might not even be that much anymore. Now that the stock market has gone down. So who do you think they're going after? They want you to buy into this. They want you to buy and say, yes. Those people need to pay their taxes. And as soon as you give them that approval and that money, they will come after you. And regardless, you should pay your taxes that are due. But that doesn't mean that you're not going to get an audit. And that doesn't mean you're not going to have to justify every single thing you can do, and waste your time and money, so they can extract a few more dollars from you.

GLENN: We know from the Obama administration, they politicized the IRS. We also know, that they just bought 700,000 dollars' worth of bullets, for the IRS.

That is really frightening. 87,000 new auditors, going out to, what? Small businesses of America. They're not going after the rich. They -- you know, they're not going to go after the poor either. But they're going to go after anyone who, A, disagrees with them. And because it's now public/private partnerships. Any business that doesn't agree with them.

CAROL: Yeah. This is really, really scary. In fact, now that my tweets have sort of gone viral. I've never been audited before. But I'm certain that I will be next time around.

GLENN: I was audited under the -- under the Obama administration, for the very first time. So that was fun. That was fun.

CAROL: Yeah. And they do. And they politicize it. And the crazy thing, are the number of people who gave feedback and said, well, if you're not a tax chief, what do you have to worry about?

And you hit the nail on the head, Glenn. Is the politicization of this. They're going to come after people. They're going to harass you. They're going to tie up your time and money. And regardless of whether you've followed the rules or not. There's a great Warren Buffet phrase. If the cop follows you for 500 miles, at some point you're going to get a ticket. It's the same kind of thing. They will find something. Because you have to justify it. And even if you're in the right, they still have a final say. Now like I said, now they're loading up on ammunition. So what exactly is it that they're going to do?

GLENN: So I think this is part of just the impoverishing. I mean, you want to take down inflation. You have to stop people's buying power. The government is spending money everywhere. So that's just going to increase inflation. But they're impoverishing us. At 2030. You will own nothing, and you will be happy. Like the World Economic Forum's plan is. You have to impoverish people. And so they're taking our money through actual taxes. Getting more Draconian on it. But they're also taxing us without representation. In inflation. It's -- it's -- go ahead.

CAROL: Yeah. I was going to say, everywhere you turn, from either side, there's either the direct or indirect taxation that impacts you on an ongoing basis. You know, it is the continual expansion of the government and the monetizing of the debt. It is the intentional causing, a deliberate causing of this rampant inflation. That lowers the purchasing power, even if you feel like, oh, I may be making a few more dollars. You know your dollar isn't going as far. Then they're going to do it through direct taxes. Then the next thing is coming, after this. And they've already started ceding this, is wealth taxes. We've heard. Oh, we'll start taxing, quote, unquote, unrealized capital gains. Or income. Which it's not. And there is an 84.4 trillion Dollar General racial wealth transfer that is going to happen in the next 23 years. This is, you know, the -- the Boomers. And those above them, who will be passing them on. Do you think the government is not trying to get their hands on as much of that as possible. Of course, they are. So they are ceding this stuff, with the billionaires, so you can see the principle, that it's okay to do it. And that is, in my opinion, what they're really after. $84.4 trillion that will be transferred from one generation to another.

GLENN: So here is. Here's the real problem of this. You know, the people will cry out for the millionaires and billionaires. But once you do that. You're violating the principle. And they can come after you for it as well. And, you know, you don't have the right, in my opinion, the progressive impact tax, is morally reprehensible. It's just morally reprehensible. The government cannot print a right to do what you cannot do. So if we all agree on taxes, it's totally fine to say, okay. Everybody pays the same rate on my block.

But it's not -- I don't have the right to tell people, you know what, they have more than you do. And I do. Right down the street in the next block. We're going to have the sheriff go. And they have to pay more in taxes, than we do. I don't have that right. I don't have that right. How does the government have the right to do it?

CAROL: Yeah. They don't. And even the rhetoric. You know, I'm a strong proponent of individual rights at the principle level. And you have people like, you know, Elizabeth Warren, who go out, and they name people. They name Musk. They name Bezos. We're going after these people.

GLENN: Oh, yeah.

CAROL: Think about that. You know, assume these people didn't have billions of dollars, and you don't like them for whatever reason. The principle that somebody in Congress is specifically going after a civilian, is so morally wrong and scary. And then what if they decide to do that for you, for whatever the reason is? I mean, you cannot concede these principles. And unfortunately, we have so many people who are basically just bootlickers of the states. That they say, no, no, no. Down with this person. Down with this person. And they're the ones who will end up with the middle class and the working class, completely trashed. Because I hate to tell you this, folks. The billionaires don't have enough money. If you took the top eleven billionaires, you took away every penny of their wealth, as it's valued today, you would fund the government for two and a half months for one year, and then it would be gone. So who are they going after? Everybody else.

GLENN: It is -- you know, I talked about this yesterday, that if you look at what the government is doing. We had the strategic oil reserve full. And it was, you know, at $2 a gallon. And then, Biden comes in. And he pretty much raises -- creates a new tax on gasoline. By shutting everything down. So it costs us $5 a gallon. And we're having a hard time with it. Then he says, I'm going to take your tax money, and I'm going to refill this oil. So now the government is in competition for us, with us. For that oil. So we're going to pay. Not only for that oil again. But we're also going to pay for it at the gas pump. And it will cause a problem. But the most important thing is. And this is happening, I think with chips as well. The government is becoming the big buyer. And when you're a big buyer, you control the market. And so you control what these companies do. This -- I think they're creating pun private partnerships, while impoverishing us.

CAROL: Yeah. I mean, and we've seen this happen, it's sort of a steppingstone to the nationalization of industries. And we saw this happen in Venezuela, which was, you know, the fourth or fifth wealthiest country in the middle of the 1900s. And now the median net worth for Venezuela is zero. Because they went, and they sold it in the exact same way. They sold it with -- there's inequality. And we never to make things better. And if you give it to us, we'll make it fair. We've seen this story happen many, many times before. We see the result. This is exactly what they're doing. They only care about their power grab. That only works with the elites. Then they have the poor. There will be no middle or working class. That will be that far bell that we see throughout history. And that's what gives them the ultimate power. And it's at the expense of your freedom. Your wealth creation. Opportunities. And, frankly, the foundation of this country.

GLENN: There's still a chance that we can turn this around though, don't you think?

CAROL: I do. I certainly was. But we have to get people involved who have the fortitude, to go in and reset the system. You know, we have a situation, where the government, without any -- you know, this magical covid relief. They're projecting for this fiscal year to spend $5.8 trillion. That's like a quarter of the GDP. Like, we can't have that happening. Every dollar that the government is spending. Is taking away from the private sector is -- is just money that's being transferred one place to another. It's not productive use of Capitol. And so we need to have people, who are willing to not just talk the talk. But actually walk it. To go in, and say, this is enough. We have to change things. We can't just kick it down the road. We need real reforms. And unfortunately, we are dependent upon people to do that.

STU: So I want to ask you this. And then I will ask you this, and come back for your answer. I think most people just -- these numbers are so big. They don't understand, and they think at some point, we're not going to be able to pay it back. So it's just going to default on it. So we'll just -- bankruptcy for the United States, or whatever. That's not going to happen. We are the one country, that I think the world will demand, that we pay our bill. So can you tell -- people who might be thinking, that's not going to happen. I'm not going to have to worry about it. My kids are not going to be slaves to this debt. They're just going to wipe it clean. Can you talk about that? Because I would love to -- I've not asked your opinion on that. On which way you think it's going to go. But we'll do that next with Carol Roth. MyPillow would like to remind you, that fairytales can come true. I mean, once upon a time, there was a princess named Nancy. And Nancy went on to a journey to a far, far land. A land called Taiwan. And it was a long journey. And she got tired along the way. And she went to sleep, on the bed in her private jet. And she said to herself, you -- you know what? Nancy, little girl. You deserve a little drinky winky. And some shut-eye. And these sheets are just not comfortable at all. They're making the big drink.

Don't forget. Tonight, 9:00 p.m. the Wednesday nature special. It's all about chaos within and what is coming. Chaos and crisis. The left's revolutionary playbook hits the American streets. That's tonight at 9:00 p.m. only on Blaze TV. I'll see you there. So, Carol, talk to me about this debt. Because we forgive debts all the time. For nations. What's going to happen with us?

CAROL: So there are only so many different options. And certainly, we could hope that we make some changes. And that we can get it under control ourselves. I don't think that's probably the most likely option. And so some of the things that are on the table, are frankly quite horrifying. And I think it might be, you know, a longer time coming. Like, nothing that's going to happen in the next two to three years. Maybe the next 15 to 20 years. But it's still a very bad thing. One thing. And obviously, this is the current tenure of the people who are in power. Is that they will just keep printing more money. Oh, we own the money printers. So we'll just print enough money to cover our debt. And that ends up devaluing our money. And we end up having money that is completely worthless, as we've seen around the world. That's one possibility. They can actually pay the debt. But not without killing the value of the dollar. That's one thing. A second thing -- oh, go ahead.

GLENN: No. Go ahead. Please. Finish.

CAROL: Okay. So a second thing is a special war. Whether it is that we start the war, as a diversion tactic. Or there happens to be another war, that we get involved with, that comes to a different reset of the monetary situation. If you think about of the different financial empires of recent times.

Whether it be the Dutch, the British, you know, then our own financial empire.

There were all these wars that basically had this reset. And people coming together. And a decision. Okay. This is how we're going to now have the monetary policy, for the world going forward. And obviously, for us, that's not a great outcome either.

GLENN: So that's what I think this is really all about. When they say, the world needs to be reset. They're really worried because china is on the brink of collapse. All of us. We've all spent too much money. And it's in everybody's best interest to try to land the plane. But they're not telling the American people this. But try to land the plane as safely as you can. Instead of just falling out of the sky. And working something out. But this is also why I think war is so scary right now. Because there is another incentive. And that is to reset the world.
(music)
That's what happened in the first world war and the second.

CAROL: Absolutely. It's a big issue. It's one of the gray swans that I've identified out there, and something people should be keeping an eye on.

GLENN: CarolRoth.com. CarolRoth.com. The author of The War on Small Business. CarolRoth.com. We'll talk to you again, Carol. Thank you so much.

CAROL: Thanks, Glenn.

CEO: Our ammunition deliveries go MISSING with UPS

Patrick Collins, CEO of The Gun Food, has lost thousands of dollars worth of ammunition. Why? Because customers’ orders don’t always seem to make it to their doors — especially when delivering with UPS. Collins joins Glenn to detail the issue, the lengths his company has gone to work with the delivery service, and the lack of detailed response or explanation from UPS. Where IS the ammo?!

Transcript

Below is a rush transcript that may contain errors

GLENN: So yesterday, I read a story about The Gun Food. TheGunFood.com is a quick process ammunition supply company. And it is very active in supporting gun rights, to local state and national levels. They supply ammunition to regular people. And people who protect our society. Individual consumers, to ranges, to police departments and instructors. And this article was about how UPS seems to be losing a lot of their packages. They claim, that UPS is behind their missing packages, leading only one-third of their orders being delivered. The rest, gone. They can't seem to get a real answer, from UPS. Patrick Collins is the CEO of the Gun Food. Welcome, Patrick, how are you?

PATRICK: I'm great today. How are you?

GLENN: I'm good. So can you tell us a little bit about your business. You're fully licensed. No crackpot business. Fly by the seat of your pants. This is a legitimate gun and amnesty business. And you've done business with UPS for how long?

PATRICK: We've been doing business with UPS for approximately three years now. And unfortunately, we do not sell firearms. But we sell plenty of ammunition, we supply to plenty of different ranges. Et cetera. And so on.

GLENN: And, Patrick, how many packages have been lost?

PATRICK: Oh. I would say, approximately 14,000 dollars' worth over the course of the business. But however, recently, we just received a hit of about 8,000-dollar loss.

GLENN: So there is -- you know, I've done business with UPS. I don't lose packages like that. What are they saying to you, when you're like, wait a minute. It didn't arrive to where I was shipping it? What do they say?

PATRICK: Well, they try to blame it on sometimes the packaging itself. Et cetera. And so on. However, for the most part, we ship all of our ammunition insured. So it requires either a signatures, or depending on the value, it's always going to be insured for that value. However, the problem that we run into, is when it doesn't make it to our customer, and the customer calls us back, we have to provide that ammo. A lot of times, lives are on the line. Lives and livelihood, I would say. Whether it's an structure or police department. When they don't receive their ammo. There are issues happening.

GLENN: So we reached out to UPS. And I want to read what we wrote to them. UPS, I'm reaching out on behalf of the Glenn Beck Radio Program. Glenn will be interviewing an Atlanta had much based ammunition distributor, who alleges UPS is behind the reason these packages are not getting delivered to these customers. He states out of 18,000 rounds of ammunition, he shipped only 6,000 -- I'm sorry. He shipped 18,000. But 6,000 were actually delivered.

Additionally, it's being reported that Brownells, a large firearms and ammunition seller has had their UPS account canceled, and UPS is no longer listed as an option for shipping carrier.

Can you please provide some background information on why ammunition and gun sellers are having issues with their package delivery? They said, dear Glenn Beck Program, these are two separate issues. Regarding your question about shipping ammunition, quote, as a common carrier, UPS transports ammunition that constitutes cartridges, small arms, as defined in federal regulations. UPS has safety protocols, to help ensure the safe transport of ammunition in our network. We work with our customers to address their concerns. Including those with packaging. You can find out more about how to ship your ammunition section, UPS.com. It includes packaging requirements. So they didn't answer the question. They're just saying, again, they're alluding that your packaging is not compliant with them. That doesn't answer the question, where is the ammunition? And I would assume, you have tried to follow every single protocol that they have.

PATRICK: Yes. Every protocol was met. And exceeded, even. Because I actually have -- I have pictures of how the packages are packed, within the packages that are -- that they're sent in. So they asked me, how -- you know, what type of materials did I use? How was it marked or labeled? And I have all of that information. In fact, we change our protocol here, at TheGunFood.com to have our drivers, when they drop off the packages at the centers, they have to actually take a picture of it, on their conveyor belt when UPS takes possession of our packages.

GLENN: Do you have to do this with anybody else?

PATRICK: Well, unfortunately, the other major carrier for ammunition, they have their own issues. Which have been brought to light, probably about two years ago. So we unfortunately have stopped and not considered using them for our business. So we stuck with UPS.

GLENN: So now, when you have -- when you have UPS, you call them. And you say, look, I have the pictures. We packaged it right. We put it on your conveyor belt. Here's the receipt. What do they say to you?

PATRICK: Well, they say, provide the same amount of information, as if I were to lose a family heirloom. Or, you know, some other package, that could have been shipped. That's not involving ammunition. And at that rate, we're sitting here fighting it. I know quite a few other folks, that are -- have well over $300,000 of ammunition gone missing. And it's really changed the way we have to do our business now.

GLENN: 300,000 dollars' worth of ammunition? Those are a lot of bullets, that are just, what? Spilling out of their truck, because they're not packed right? And do they say, here's spoiled boxes, and here's the ammunition that we could save? I mean, they just don't explain where that ammunition and that defective box went to?
PATRICK: Exactly. To them, it's just a write-off. However, it's becoming a very expensive write-off. I would like to thank you for bringing a lot of attention to this. Because it really is a big deal. And it impacts people on multiple levels. More so than your average citizen would think. Imagine if the police department doesn't receive their ammunition, that they need to serve their civic duties -- civil duties.

GLENN: So -- well, imagine -- imagine if you got sloppy with ammunition, and you were just kind of losing some from time to time. What they would accuse you of. The -- UPS is part of this great reset. They're very, very deeply involved in that. I would like to think that this is just incompetence. Because it can't be excuse -- if you you do indeed have the pictures, and you're shipping them the right way. Which I believe you are. But please sends my office the pictures. Because we would like to follow this up.

There is -- there's no excuse. It's either theft. From their own employees. Or it is part of a -- of a hidden policy, that is disrupting the flow of ammunition. And that's -- that's -- I would -- I hope it's the theft from their employees. But I bet it's not.

PATRICK: Yes. And I 100 percent agree. Unfortunately, ammunition boxes are easy to identify. With the markings we need to put on them. And we try to hide them in ways, that is not as obvious. However, a lot of times, people know what they're grabbing, once they grab the box. Or perhaps even shake it.

GLENN: Oh, yeah. Way too heavy. Ammunition in a big box at least is very heavy.

All right. Well, we'll follow up. I would like you to reach out to my producers. If you do indeed have names of people that have lost 300,000 dollars' worth of ammunition, the same way you have. There's something going on here. Because all of a sudden, all of you guys are starting to just pack it wrong. It's either a -- their stonewalling here bothers me. Because there should be an answer. What happened to it? What happened to it? Okay. You didn't pack it right. Well, where did that box go? It's not like if I shipped diamonds through UPS. They're going to say, you know what, your box fell apart. Okay. Well, where are the diamonds? Well, you just write it off. That means, they're either keeping it, doing something with it. Or they have a theft problem.

UPS, which one is it? And then why is this happening, and you don't seem to care? Thank you, Patrick, I appreciate it. God bless you.

PATRICK: You have a good one.

GLENN: You bet.
