Is California ‘PURPOSEFULLY’ destroying this small business?

It seems like some politicians are purposefully trying to destroy the lives and dreams of certain Americans, specifically small business owners. Dave Foldes spoke to Glenn over six months ago after THIS audience raised thousands of dollars for his restaurant that refused to close: Cronies Sports Grill. Now, despite making progress in his administrative battle against LA, the city of Agoura Hills, California is coming for Cronies instead. And the reasoning is INSANE. But Foldes isn't giving up, and neither are his supporters. It's the ultimate David vs. Goliath showdown.

Former Trump Official: Liz Cheney & the J6 Committee “BURIED EVIDENCE”

The Federalist has reported that the January 6th Select Committee suppressed evidence that former president Donald Trump requested 10,000 National Guard troops to be stationed at the Capitol during the day’s events. But former Rep. Liz Cheney has denounced the report. So, what’s the truth? Glenn speaks with former Trump intelligence official Kash Patel, who says he was in the Oval Office when Trump authorized the troops. He also accuses former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, the Capitol Police, and Washington, D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser of denying the request, knowing exactly what might happen: “[They] WANTED that political narrative [of] insurrection.”

GLENN: Kash Patel, who is wildly accomplished. Chief of staff to the Department of Defense, where his responsibilities included implementing the Secretary of Defense mission involving, you know, 3 million-plus employees. Blah, blah. He went from the Pentagon to serving with Donald Trump.

He became the DNI. The Director of National Intelligence. You were the -- what are -- you were the acting DNI, I believe, for a very long time. And, of course, you know, they tried to destroy his life. Kash Patel joins us now. Hello, Kash. How are you?

KASH: Great to be with you, Glenn.

GLENN: All right. I want to talk about what just came out with Mollie Hemingway this weekend. Where we now know that the January 6th committee, had testimony from you and several others, on what, actually, happened on the White House.

On the takes leading up to January 6th. Where Trump was calling for 10,000 troops, to be on the street. Because he felt that the left was going to act up. And, actually, hurt the people that were coming for these rallies.

But they wouldn't do anything about it. They would not take him up on it, at all.

And that's now proven, and they knew that, but they kept that away, from the official report.

KASH: Yes, Glenn. Just like when the FBI went to a FISA court and lied to them and went to exculpatory evidence, just to target a political opponent and unlawfully surveil him, the January 6th committee took one page out of their book, and repeated that same instance of conduct for a propaganda political end point.

I was in the Oval Office, chief of staff. For the DOD, takes before January 6th. President Trump, unequivocally authorized ten to 20 National Guardsmen women.

And why is that important, Glenn?

Because only the president can make that authorization. But he's not allowed under the Constitution to deploy the order.

Order of deployment, excuse me, of the National Guard. So what do we do?

We dispatch senior DOD officials to Mayor Bowser, who is in charge of DC and the Capitol Police, who are in charge of the Capitol. And reported to Nancy Pelosi at that time.

And they in writing, rejected the use of additional National Guard. Not Donald Trump.

They did that.

And now we find out, two years after I testified to the January 6 committee, demanding a public hearing. Is they failed to release my transcript for almost two years. A year and a half after that, they released the transcript of Tony Ornato, a career apolitical speaker service officer, assigned to the White House for presidential protection. And what does his transcript say?

It confirms that President Trump, days before, authorized the use of ten to 20,000 national guardsmen and women, and the chief of staff by itself, Secretary of Defense and the chairman, were all in the Oval Office when it happened.

This is the exculpatory evidence, that Liz Cheney and company have buried for two years to achieve a political gain.

GLENN: So, Kash, we are so corrupt.

Now, you know, people are saying, if they could do this to the president of the United States, they'll do it to anybody. Well, they are doing it to many nobodies, and anybody. And this has got to stop. It doesn't seem like the mainstream media cares. But at some point, it will reach enough ears where people will say, I am afraid of this government, quite honestly. They are everything that they say Donald Trump is. They're already doing it.

What do you --

VOICE: Their hypocrisy. No. Sorry. Go ahead. Their hypocrisy, as I think you were alluding to, their projection is what they do. And they own the Main State media. So back when we did Russiagate. And if you tied the threats together, to similar concepts, between Russiagate, between FISA, between January 6, between Hunter Biden's laptop, the 51 Intel letters, just to name a few things. They used the same playbook.

Lie at government gangsters, destroy the American faith in the institutions, but utilize their partners in the media, to make themselves look like a hero. And I think the breakthrough we're now having, is we have proven right, each and everyone one of these instances, the truth.

GLENN: So, Kash, at some point, the tables turn. And the countries are already turning against a lot of this stuff.

And you're running a guy who just doesn't -- he's not going to win.

If it's fair. There's no way he will win. It will be Trump in a landslide, I believe.

However, that's if it's fair.

However, they don't seem worried about it at all. What is their end game?

How do you keep your borders open?

Have murders happening on our streets, crime on the streets. We're going to have a terrorist attack. It's only a matter of time.

What's your exit plan? Because Bubba is going to look at this and go, well, you were the ones who caused it.

KASH: Uh-huh. I think the exit plan for the radical left-wing and mainstream media, is Trump Derangement Syndrome. Get him at all costs.

What I think we've done over time, through your brave reporting and your network, some amazing reporting of the truth, is Americans are saying, wait a second. Those things are not right-wing conspiracy.

That's the truth! The mainstream media lied to me. And I think what President Trump is brilliantly doing is taking that on the campaign trail every day.

And saying, yes, there's corruption in DC.

Yes. They're rigging presidential elections, but yes. We can defeat them. Because we are going to win so big, that the rig is not going to matter.

And every time we put out one of these blockbuster truths -- I mean, this is like a Russiagate-style reporting, blockbuster news day, that I'm reporting to you, directly with an op-ed to follow. The American people wake up in droves.

And I think, maybe I'm naive. But I think that is going to educator day. To solve the corruption in DC.

GLENN: I hope so.

Because it's really -- you know, it's disturbing to see how -- how methodical they are.

Do you think they knew that January 6 was going to happen?

KASH: Yes. I think they not only new, but the political monsters like Pelosi, Cheney, et al, wanted that political narrative. Why else would you shut down an authorization for National Guardsmen and Women?

I mean, all you have to do is ask -- they keep calling us liars.

Just ask yourself this: If President Trump didn't authorize it, then how did being the Secretary of Defense -- senior officials to Pelosi and Bowser's office, speaking their request for National Guard? It would have been factually and legally impossible.

And they shut that down because they wanted to hang that narrative, and have that painting of no client says, that a malicious style, downtown -- in downtown Washington, DC, to achieve their political narrative, which was? Insurrection. It failed in court, and now it's failing in the court of public opinion. Because the truth has finally come out. That the January 6th committee buried evidence, which corroborates what we've been saying for three years.

GLENN: How deep does the corruption in the military and Intel go?

When you -- did we have incognito Special Forces on the ground on January 6th?

KASH: No. No. That's not to say, a civilian who was a Special Forces operator, he didn't himself go. But me and the Secretary of Defense would never have allowed that. That would have broken the chain of command.

It's just not what would have happened. And we didn't that have there, on that day. Go ahead.

GLENN: And you know the Intel.

I mean, you were DNI. The Intel industry, is doing stuff, that you wouldn't have liked or wanted to happen either. Do you agree with that?

KASH: Absolutely. Absolutely.

Chris ray has the intelligence. Just ask yourself this: How is it that Starbucks and Dunkin' Donuts knew to board up the windows in and around the Capitol, but the intelligence community and the FBI didn't?

Well, as it turns out, Christopher Wray had an Intel report, saying that there could be violence in and around January 6th. And what did he do?

He withheld it. He suppressed it. The calling card of the Deep State. As long as your political narrative is advanced, suppress the truth.

And that is what they did. And the Intel community -- the bottom is corrupt. It's corrupt at the top, with a couple of minor players in between. And we can reform that by removing them, and putting them in the right personnel package.

GLENN: Did you see the story that came out today, in 2022. When Putin was threatening with nuke.

And how President Biden, you know, went to the Murdoch's house. And was talking to all these people about a briefing he just had. About how this is going to become true.
And the government went on -- on high alert.

Does the government have a responsibility, when its Cuban Missile Crisis, kind of crisis, to come on television like Kennedy did? And explain what's happening.

KASH: They do. And a commander-in-chief, with all its faculties should do that.

But Joe Biden is not that commander-in-chief. I don't want him anywhere near a television set.

Because every time he does, he exposes the United States to another national security attack, via cyber or otherwise.

Because they put on blast, the ineffectiveness and ineptitude of our commander-in-chief.

And right now, we don't need any more of that.

GLENN: As somebody who has been around the military and an Intel, for -- for a very long time. What did you make of the opening of his speech on Thursday, where his number one priority, right out -- I mean, didn't even say the State of the Union was strong or anything.

He just went right into, we're at war. Inside and outside of our country.

And we must fight it.

What do you think he was signaling?

KASH: He was speaking to the defense industrial complex. That owns the slum.

The state of our union, from our commander-in-chief, was the state of Ukraine.

That's what he led out with. And that should never happen.

It is a world war of his making, and he is hustling DC, along with the corrupt politicians, who are owned by defense industrial complex, to do one thing: Print money, and send our men and women overseas to fight yet another war for another person and another political target, to achieve victory at home on the political battlefield. Damn the cost. Get blood and treasure. That's what Joe Biden was doing, putting America last.

GLENN: And when you -- when he talked about Israel. I don't know if you saw the report again, that came out today. About Joe Biden saying, I am -- I am going to have a come to Jesus meeting with Bibi Netanyahu. Which is kind of an awkward sentence to say. But said that, which, you know, Bibi has responded with, I have my own red lines.

And then we're putting. We're building a dock for Gaza.

And we're going to be delivering food. Does that sound like a good idea.

KASH: It is an overaggressive, act of aggression. He is building a dock, and saying, we're not going to put boots on the ground. So we're going to put boots on planks and wooden boards, in territorial waters of a sovereign nation. Would the United States of America, ever stand for anyone building a dock on the eastern seaboard, to provide aid for any inner city folks?

Absolutely not. It is a violation of domestic federal statute, and international law. It's an act of overt aggression. And Israelis, and the people in Gaza, are going to be offended and probably take action against it, which is going to harm American men and women in uniform.

GLENN: And what would we do in response with this commander-in-chief?

KASH: We would unfortunately, double down on the fight.

And we would be looking at another 20-year Afghan campaign. Because Iran is flush with cash, thanks to Joe Biden. They launched the war in Israel through Hamas, a proxy. And they are buying Republicans at a rate that has never been seen before. And Joe Biden is weak on the global stage.

All he can do is send men and women to die. So far, five American service members killed in that region, under his watch.

And now he's building a flotilla, off the coastline of a world war. Only bad thing can happen when Joe Biden is --

GLENN: I know people have said this since I was a kid. This is the most important election of our time. Blah, blah, blah.

But, lately, it has gotten to be more and more important. And I, honestly, feel we are in a place that this may be the last election in America, if -- if things don't go right. And people don't stay calm. And everything else.

Do you think that's hyperbole?

KASH: No. We are at an inflection point. Because for the first time in forever, it's national security. National security. National security, and Americans have seen the cost at our border. The cost that we're seeing in the Ukraine and Israel wars.

The cost in terms of Russia and al-Qaeda on the rise.

They have seen Joe Biden politicize intelligence, the Department of Defense and law enforcement, creating a two-tier system of justice, to prosecute political targets.

And they have seen a total weaponization of our government. And that's what we are at an inflection point, come this election. America is seeing that Donald Trump, in my opinion, must be commander-in-chief. The guy who went through all of what we just talked about successfully.

GLENN: Kash, thank you so much.

Kash Patel.

What EVERY American Should Learn From ‘Cabrini’

Glenn Beck is stunned by the new film, “Cabrini.” It’s “one of the most beautiful films I have ever seen,” he says. But it also tells a story that all Americans should learn from, one of true “feminism,” and not the toxic leftist version that Hollywood pushes. Glenn discusses this with the film’s director, Alejandro Monteverde, whose previous film, “Sound of Freedom,” became a surprise box office sensation. Monteverde also gives a behind-the-scenes look at how the film was made and describes how he took influence from “The Godfather” and “Batman” to tell the story of a Catholic nun.

GLENN: If we were anywhere south of the border, this next to the best, I mean, I think I would probably have girls screaming outside of the windows going, oh, my gosh.

You talk to him!

Big, big star in South America and Mexico.

I will introduce him as only a white man can, as Alejandro Monteverde, which is not the way he would say it. But better than the way George Bush would say it. It would be like Alejandro.

Anyway, Alejandro, how are you, sir?

ALEJANDRO: How are you? Thank you for having me on your show. It's a great honor. And, by the way, I met George Bush, after -- you know, when he gave the State of the Union speech.

He picked two immigrants to get into this country, and I was one of them.

GLENN: Wow.

ALEJANDRO: He spoke. He did spoke like what you said.

GLENN: Alejandro was here.

Anyway, so, Alejandro, you are one of the great reasons we love immigrants. You are a guy, big, big star, all over South America, and Mexico.

And as an actor, but you have become, I believe, one of the best filmmakers, in the world.

I saw your movie Cabrini, when it was. I don't even know if it was locked down yet.

And halfway through, I said to one of the producers. I feel like I'm in the screening room with -- with the group that made the godfather.

You know, sitting next to --

ALEJANDRO: Wow. That is one of the most amazing compliments. Because when I worked with my cinematographer, that was one of the inspirations, the Godfather.

GLENN: I'm telling you, you guys nailed that. It is one of the most beautiful films I have seen. But not for an artsy reason.

It just captures a mood, like I've only seen in the godfather.

So you hit that.

The movie Cabrini. You're welcome. The movie Cabrini. Tell the story of St. Cabrini. Because a lot of people don't know her.

ALEJANDRO: Well, you know, just to short, to summarize, she was a warrior. She came here to America, in the late 1800s as an immigrant, a woman with nothing.

With a dream. With a big mission, to build hospitals, and -- and help those in need.

And the ultimate -- Amy Rockefeller, or Vanderbilt. Even though, at that time, when she arrived, she faced a lot of racism against the Italians, and discrimination.

But that's the beautiful (sic) of this country. That did not stop her from building one of the greatest hospitals that New York has ever seen.

GLENN: No.

And, actually, by the end of her life, I believe it was the largest hospital network in the world. I mean, it -- what she accomplished was amazing.

And she became an American shortly after she got here. A few years after she got here. But it shows a woman.

ALEJANDRO: She was an American. Then the first American saint. Which was also very powerful.

GLENN: Yeah. The way you have predicted her. Tell me about the lady who plays her. This movie, Cabrini, by the way. My highest, highest recommendation. This is an incredible movie. So inspirational.

So well-done.

This -- this will show you, how far independent films have come, from conservative media. This is -- you know, put out by Angel Films.

You remember how bad Christian movies were?

This is -- I wouldn't categorize it as a Christian movie.

It's just a movie about this wonderful Christian.

But it is brilliant.

So please, go see it. It's out tomorrow.

Anyway, tell me --

ALEJANDRO: Thank you. Thank you, first of all. It's truly an honor to -- coming from you.

It means a lot.

The reason we -- we -- you know, this is a woman that also divide death itself. Morality, every single day.

She was able to steal, literally decades of life.

They told her, she had two to three years to live.

She kept fighting and fighting.

Look at the amount of faith.

If somebody tells you, you have three years to live, but you have a dream that it will take you 20 years to make. That will put a lot of faith in yourself, to begin with. I needed an actress, that was able to have the power of her eyes from going from a loving eyes, love a child. That is abandoned to the streets, to -- to rapidly change, to have this defiant eyes, to defy all these challenges that were put in front of her.

You know, she fought all the way from the most dangerous criminal. The pain that was prosecuting little girls. To facing, you know, very powerful politicians.

GLENN: Right. And the pope.

I mean, the scene with the pope, where she's like, I'm going to seat pope. And everybody is keep her away from the pope. And he's finally like, I'm not going to mess with this woman. Go ahead. Send her in.

ALEJANDRO: Yeah. She fires me all the time. We take noes too easy nowadays. Somebody takes no, and walks away. She was able to convert a no to a yes. She was able to build bridges. To even be able to work with people that disagree with her.

That's what I think is the problem now, that so relevant to America. Because right now, we're such a divided country.

We should be able to work together, even though we're divided. And she understood that. That we don't have to agree.

But there's people dying outside.

You know, there's -- let's go and help.

And she lives her life for others.

GLENN: Can I go down, just an odd road, perhaps with you?

There was one point, where I leaned over to the producer.

And I said, that's Batman, looking over Gotham. Right?

ALEJANDRO: Yeah! She was wearing a cape. She was wearing a cape.

GLENN: Yes. Did I do these things?

Because there were several places, where I was like, that's a hero shot. That's a hero shot that I've seen. Did you intentionally do that?

ALEJANDRO: Yes. Everything was designed, very intentionally in this film because of COVID.

You know, this, we had to use COVID to our advantage. You know, the movie kept being pushed and pushed and pushed. So we used all that time to keep designing and designing, designing the subtext.

There's a lot of subtext in this film. She lives a very heroic life. She was wearing a cape. So we wanted to present her visually as a hero. As a hero that you see in Marvel movies. But she was a real hero.

GLENN: So well done.

And is it true that -- because I think this is what makes the movie so visually appealing, is it was meant to be shot in black and white, right.

And what happened?

ALEJANDRO: Yes. The whole time the movie was black and white. And when you shoot black and white, it allows you to become operatic. You know, Orson Wells. Citizen Kane. You know, all those films. It's a wonderful life. All those films. It allows you -- Orson Wells used to say, it is impossible, to have bad acting in black and white.

Black and white, allows you to do everything. But most importantly, the reason why I wanted to shoot it on black and white.

Was because she was wearing black. And I didn't want it getting in the way of her story.

Then I thought, well, everybody will be dressed like her.

Black and white. For the entire year and a half, I designed the movie black and white, which is very operatic. Very cinematic. Very orchestrated. Almost like if you're looking in a movie, on Broadway.

So -- and then a week before we started to shoot, Eustace Wolfington, who was the -- person behind -- behind all of this. I called it the Cabrini movement.

He flew in. And I said, well, he came in for two reasons. Either, he's firing me.

Or he's telling me, it's not going to be black and white. That is the only two reasons. Everything else, you can tell me on the phone. Why is he flying in to see me.

And it is the second one.

It's not going to be black and white.

But this point, I already designed the movie.

When you designed the movie for black and white. Like Citizen Kane.

You take a lot of creative licenses. And it was too late to go back.

And if -- you know, I didn't know if it would work. So when I finished the film.

I went into a deep, deep depression for two weeks.

Because I didn't know if this movie would work. Because I had shot it. Designed it from black and white. Would have shot it in color. Though, it was the most dark -- I went into a dark place for two weeks.

GLENN: Jeez.

ALEJANDRO: And then I saw the first cut, and I was like, oh, it worked!

GLENN: Oh, my gosh.

ALEJANDRO: So it was a risk.

GLENN: It is the most visually stunning movie, that does not detract -- you know, sometimes people do it for art's sake. And blah, blah.

This is just visually stunning and helps tell the story.

I mean, Alejandro, you don't need this from me. But I truly believe, you are one of the -- if not the best director around today, you are going to be legendary. I believe. And it's just a matter of -- it's just a matter of time.

You are just -- it's brilliant.

ALEJANDRO: Truly. Because we've been in a fight.

And I want -- you know, I've never heard that. And more coming from you, it's shaking my heart.

But I want to say something. You know this very well.

You know, if we don't -- if we don't have the big billboards. You know, we're competing against Dune.

So the only way a movie like this can survive, is if enough weekend people will see it, otherwise we'll be kicked out of theaters. So I cannot tell you how important it is, that people come out on opening weekend. Because they are our billboards. The billboards is the word-of-mouth. People coming out of the theaters and sharing their experience, their cinematic experience with audiences. You know, our audiences are the billboards.

GLENN: Well, I will tell you, I saw it in a studio projection room, and I went home. And I've been telling my family about this movie ever since. And we will all be in the movie theater, tomorrow.

I can't wait to see it again.

It is so good.

ALEJANDRO: Thank you so much.

I can wait for you. There are two or three -- I wonder if you'll be able to spot them. I think you will, by the way.

GLENN: Yeah. Alejandro, thank you so much.

And keep up the good work.

You are fantastic. Really, and Cabrini is a piece of -- really, a piece of art. It really is.

ALEJANDRO: And I'm so grateful. So grateful for your support. But thank you so much.

GLENN: You bet. Alejandro Monteverde.

Filmmaker, and I really mean this.

I think he is -- he's going to be remembered with all of the greats. I have been a fan of his, when he started making smaller movies.

And he made Little Boy, which I thought was just fantastic, captured the spirit of America in World War II like very few people can do. And he also is responsible for the -- the Sound of Freedom. And now Cabrini. And this is amazing, and a great, uplifting story. You will just love it.

Find it at a theater. Like he said, this weekend, is really important. Because they -- the reason why Sound of Freedom Know did well is because more movie theaters open up. On the opening weekend, if they have a big opening weekend, then more theaters will go, you know what, I'll give that a try. And if you don't support these things, on the opening weekend, and you will -- just go to support filmmakers. We have come from really bad movies, to brilliant, brilliant pieces of work.

And this is the best I've seen from a conservative. And it's one of the best I've seen from anyone.

It's called Cabrini. See it this weekend.

WHAT?! Biden APOLOGIZES for Calling Laken Riley’s Alleged Murderer “ILLEGAL”

President Biden made a big apology related to his mention of Laken Riley and her alleged murderer during his 2024 State of the Union address. But the apology wasn’t for calling Laken “Lincoln.” He instead apologized to the illegal immigrant accused of killing her for calling him “an illegal.” “When did we start worrying about the feelings of the killer,” Glenn asks. Glenn also looks back at how Democrats used to talk about illegal immigrants, and the difference is shocking …

GLENN: President Joe Biden, thank goodness. In step with the American people.

Apologized for describing the suspected killer of Lincoln.

A/k/a, Laken Hope Riley. I described him as an illegal immigrant during the State of the Union.

STU: I believe he just said "illegal."

GLENN: Oh, he did. He just said "illegal." And people aren't illegal.

STU: Human beings cannot be illegal!
All humans are legal!

GLENN: Illegal.

Oh, my goodness.

STU: I wonder if that applies to babies born in states that ban abortion. Is that process illegal?

GLENN: Babies born.

STU: In states that have banned abortion.

A Texas baby, that the mom really wanted to kill, just couldn't get around to it because of the law. Are those babies legal? Because they keep telling us everything about it is unconstitutional.

GLENN: Well, I'll tell you, I think, for instance, Manson. Charlie Manson.

You know, the guy with the swastika on his head.

STU: I remember him.

GLENN: Okay. He's not illegal.

STU: No human is illegal.

GLENN: Yeah. But what he did was illegal.

STU: Wait. Is that how the law works?

That human beings can have actions that are illegal. They're not illegal themselves.

GLENN: They're not illegal. If you do something. Let's say, thinking outside the box here.

Come into a country. And you're not supposed to be here. Okay?

And so you cross our border, illegally. No. You're still a legal human being.

But you've -- you've now come to cross purposes with the law.

STU: Right. So your actions are the thing that formed --

GLENN: Yes. Your actions are illegal. And shorthand, we would just call you illegal. Instead of having to explain it every time, to dummies.

STU: Although, you just did have to explain it to a bunch of dummies.

GLENN: Yeah. Yeah. Mainly in the White House. Or in Congress. Or have a D after their name.

The D, by the way, does not stand for Democrat. It stands for dummy. So this guy killed Lincoln Hope.

She was a nursing student. He brutally killed her.

Kidnapped her. During the State of the Union address, he -- he was confronted by Marjorie Taylor Greene, who yelled, say her name. Say her name. Because he had never mentioned her name.

And that's when he called her Lincoln. Okay. No. Yeah. It's Laken, but good for you for finding a name that starts with an L.

STU: Look, he's confused with a college football coach. Of course that can happen.

GLENN: Yes, and it was another president, and he was thinking of Civil War.

STU: There you go.

GLENN: So that really upset the family of Laken.

Lincoln's mom, well, she had been dead for a long time, so she didn't even really notice it.

So here's what happened: Expect -- on itself plane on Saturday. Had to go to California to give a speech. Couldn't get out of there fast enough.

Anyway, so I'm on the plane. I land.

And I said, to somebody who was on the plane with me.

You have the headlines?

He said, yeah. Looks like President -- President Biden just apologized for the Lincoln Riley thing.

I said, well, it's only a couple days late, but at least he did it.

And then I got on to my own laptop, and started looking at -- and said, no. No. That's not what he apologized for. He apologized for calling him illegal.

It is -- I mean, I don't even -- what!

He is from Venezuela.

He crossed into the United States. Illegally.

He -- you know, of course, he was an undocumented person. He goes -- he comes here. He gets all kinds of help. They -- they catch him at the border.

They release him within an hour or so. They ship him to New York.

Where he gets free room and board.

I think he also gets a couple of extra free spaces in bingo up at the church.

And what does he do?

Breaks the law. Goes down to Georgia.

Breaks the law. Oh, well, I'm here. I may as well kill a woman.

This is a really bad guy.

And why is it the president had to apologize?

You know that was a setup.

Do we happen to have the audio by any chance?

No.

You know this was a setup.

He was on MSNBC. And the MSNBC anchor says, so do you feel bad at all? About calling him an illegal?

Now, why would you ask that?

Go ahead, here it is.

VOICE: During your response to her heckling of you, you used the word "illegal" when talking about the man who allegedly killed Laken Riley.

BIDEN: Undocumented person. I shouldn't have used the word "illegal." It's undocumented.

And, look, when I spoke about the difference between Trump and me, one of the things I talked about on the border was that is the way he talks about vermin. The way he talks about these people polluting the blood. I talked about what I won't do. I'm not treating any -- any of these people with this disrespect.

Look, they built the country. The reason our economy is growing.

We have to control the border, and more orderly.

GLENN: Right. Right.

VOICE: So you regret using that word?

BIDEN: Yes.

GLENN: Okay. All right.

This was the White House putting him in a softball situation, and tipping off the interview, hey, ask him about illegal.

STU: Yeah. 100 percent. These things do not just happen like that.

GLENN: No.

STU: Obviously, in reality, no one cares whether he said it was illegal. The fact that he didn't know the name was a bigger situation.

GLENN: Yeah.

STU: Than that. And the fact that he -- you can tell he was -- she was trying to goad him into talking about this.

She wanted him to mention this story. Which he would have never mentioned, if it wasn't for her.

If it wasn't for Marjorie Taylor Greene, he wouldn't have even mentioned it in that speech.

And look, it wound up drawing more attention, which is great.

But it's incredible, that that is where we are. Where we have to give the media giving him softball interviews.

At least he's doing interviews. He avoided the Super Bowl interview. At least he's doing interviews.

GLENN: He probably didn't have a lot guarantee, that it was going to be, what's your favorite ice cream?

So he's apologizing, that he would use the word "illegal" for somebody who is here illegally.

And didn't apologize for his role in allowing this guy to be here.

I love all of this -- this lefty bullcrap, that, you know, what about all the crimes that were done by illegals?

Yes. You mean citizens.

There's lots of crime done by citizens. Absolutely. But there's absolutely no reason to import people, who are criminals, into this country. So they can do crime.

We -- we should know who is here.

You know what, he's part of a pretty vicious gang. I don't think we let him in.

And you -- Mr. President, you, Mayorkas, and everybody else involved, who has been pushing these policies. Their blood is on your hands. Period.

Period. And there's a lot of blood on your hands. I mean, should we count the number killed in Ukraine?

Because that's directly responsible. You're directly responsible for that action, of Russia.

All you had to say was, we're not going to make Russia a part of NATO. That's all you needed to say. And you wouldn't say it.

You wanted the war. So her blood. The blood of everybody else, that has been injured or killed here in America, because you opened the border. Ukraine. Oh, all the people, really, at the Abbey Gate.

Of course, the 19 Marines. You know, that blood is -- there's a lot. I don't know if I can tally up all of the blood, but there's a lot on your hands.

Do you apologize for any of that?

STU: If you're in an interview talking about the Laken Riley situation, you think at the very least, if you're going to ask the question, hey, did you say illegal wrong? You would also mention, hey, what about mispronouncing her name?

GLENN: Yeah.

STU: Right? It's almost directly related.

GLENN: Have you met her?

This is so crazy. When did we start worrying about the feelings of the killer?

Look what's happened!

Stu just brought up a very good point.

He asked about mislabeling the killer. Not about the callousness of not knowing her name. Nor, reaching out to the family, and consoling. How about that one?

STU: And, of course, when he did attempt to console from the stage. He made it about himself. Which he did every single time.

GLENN: Every time.

Really? Well, I know your son was I guess in the war. The war wasn't happening in Georgia. You know. This has and he didn't lose him in the war.

GLENN: I know that.

STU: He also lost him because of cancer. Which again, is terrible. But had nothing to do with the situation they were dealing with.

Cancer is a vicious killer. And so is this illegal.

He's a vicious killer.

More on this, in just a second. First, let me tell you about are of.

Some people seem to be born tough. Like Helen. You remember Helen?

She still here? Helen!

Yes.

STU: Hi.

GLENN: Hi, Helen, how are you?

STU: Wonderful. I'm really glad we're talking again. Any time I get a chance to talk to you, I'm very happy.

GLENN: Really. Well, why not stay in the greenroom. I can have you back every ten minutes or so.

STU: Great!

GLENN: Anyway, you have pain, right?

STU: Lots of pain. You know, the incredible surgery and shots I've been going through, seemed to leave marks.

GLENN: Really?

STU: And, yeah. The pain is excruciating.

GLENN: But had you had that female pain yet?

STU: Well, surprisingly, not really. I don't know what's going on.

GLENN: Really? That must be just you.

STU: It must be just me.

GLENN: Right.

STU: You know, I'm so feminine now. Everyone thinks immediately, I must be dealing with that, on a monthly basis.

GLENN: Right.

STU: But not -- nope.

No.

GLENN: Huh.

STU: Very male in that sense.

GLENN: Wow. Have you had the ovaries checked?

STU: You know, they can't find them anywhere.

I asked, can you put some in, so the next doctor will find them. They say, they don't do that yet.

GLENN: Wow. Okay. Well, follow the science.

STU: Hey. Just one good piece of information: You paid for my surgery. You paid for my surgery. Thank you so much.

GLENN: I paid for it? How did I pay for your surgery?

STU: Taxpayers are now paying for my surgery, which is great. I wanted to thank you, because of how much you pay in taxes.

GLENN: Yes.

STU: So just think about that -- it's come up on April soon. Think about how wonderful that will be.

GLENN: I used to think it's really great, that, you know, on April, I think to myself, maybe I bought a plane that's keeping the country safe.

STU: Nope!

You bought something much different.

And it's now in the medical waste bin.

So I love Miranda Divine from the New York Post. I love her.

I was reading this story today. I didn't know who wrote it. It was from the Post. I didn't know who wrote it.

And I went, it's got to be Miranda Divine.

She said -- about this interview on MSNBC.

The first question was gently to chide the president for using the word illegal. Not for the insult of getting Riley's name wrong, or the outrage of allowing her to kill her into the country.

Look, when I spoke about different things between Trump and me, one of the things I talked about was the border. The way he talks about vermin.

It was the same after the train derailment spilled toxic chemicals that sickened residents of East Palestine, Ohio.

Biden's studious indifference allowed Trump to ride into town with fresh water and concerned words, two weeks after the disaster.

Biden couldn't find it in him -- find the town for a year. His people said, he was too busy. But he's never too busy for long weekends in luxury vacations.

Biden likes to emote about his own tragedies, every chance he gets. And this has been misinterpreted as empathy. It's not empathy. It's narcissism.

If he had a shred of empathy, he would unwind his open border executive orders of January, February '21. And stop lying that it's the Republican's responsibility.

This is a classic example of Biden's border madness. Despite being listed in the Department of Homeland Security documents as an active member of the deadly Tren de Aragua gang. I'm not a gang member. So I don't know all of their cool names.

The Post reported, this man was set to be free, almost immediately after crossing the border illegally in September 22.

Put on a bus in New York. Bring on free room and board in a migrant shelter. He worked for DoorDash and UberEATS, with entry to the apartments of unsuspected New Yorkers to deliver food.

A disgrace for which those companies should be hauled over the court -- coals. He expressed his gratitude for America's generosity, by continuing to break our laws.

Multiple arrests in New York, and Georgia.

But no detention. No deportation. And the media bent over backward. Saying that the murder suspect, was from Athens.

No. Venezuela.

They're spelled differently.

As Trump says, they're not sending their best and their brightest to us, from Venezuela.

This is -- this is -- our perversion now of empathy, what we -- what we are doing now. Is replacing, well, good for evil. Evil for good.

Whoa, unto him. We -- we have now taken the victims, and put that title on the perpetrator.

And the bad guy now, is the victim.

There's more empathy on the left, and the president, for this illegal, than there is for the dead.

Or those she left behind. That -- that is not the country you want to live in.

And I'm saying that to Democrats.

You don't want to live in that country.

We've seen those kinds of countries come and go. And they're abominations. You have to stop misplacing the empathy.

We used to be a nation of -- of heroes, and those heroes were the people, who were the underdogs.

We've replaced the underdog. The underdog is not the individual. Not anymore. It's this big terrifying group, that says, I, as an individual have a problem.

And they've gathered themselves into groups, with clubs.

And if you don't listen to them, they're Goliath!

Leaving you the one who is supposedly holding them down. To be beaten, by this mob!

No. They're -- they're not the victim. They're not little David.

They're Goliath. The individual remains the underdog.

GLENN: Welcome to the Glenn Beck Program.

Glad you're here. It's a Monday.

Bitcoin is over 72,000 now. 72,300. Amazing.

STU: Oh, is that it? Crypto is still dead. I want to make sure.

GLENN: No. Crypto is dead. Well, not right now.

But the moment it starts going down, it will be dead again.

STU: I saw so many stories about people who invested when it was 60 something thousand. And then they lost everything.

And those stories were everywhere. And I don't see them as often, when it goes up. That's such a weird thing.

GLENN: You know who lost?

The people who bought it at 60. Then pulled it out of the market. Now it's at 72.

STU: Yeah. Here's a true statement. Every single person, who has ever in the entire history of Bitcoin, bought it and held it to today, has made money. All of them.

100 percent of them. Congratulations to all of you. You people who decided to sell, oh, well, sometimes that goes wrong.

But if you decided to hold it, every single person who has ever done it in human history has made money. Oh, what a terrible investment.

Crypto dead. Let's write some more articles. Where are you guys?

Let's see it all over again. I can't wait until it goes down to 58, and we have the same cycle all over again.

I can't believe -- Bob toxin of southeast, South Bend. After seeing Pete Buttigieg's battle against underbridge lighting, decided to sell his Bitcoin and be lost 11 teen dollars. And now lives under that bridge, under that wonderful underscaped lighting.

And --

GLENN: This is why government needs to regulate it. Because people get hurt.

STU: Where is Elizabeth Warren when we did her?

Where are you, Liz. I haven't heard from Liz lately, on this stuff.

GLENN: You will. You will again.

STU: She's always blabbing about something. Just, it's infuriating.

Like, I mean, look, how many -- we're well over a trillion dollars in market cap.

How many times have we seen these things go to zero after we get to a trillion? Does that happen a lot? I don't know. It's pretty rare.

GLENN: Did pets.com get to a trillion? Then no. No.

STU: I'm pretty sure no. Pretty sure no.

GLENN: By the way, may I -- may I just point out the more perplexing story of the day, from Politico?

And that is, what's up with raw milk?

Now, normally, I'm not into my raw milk stories.

STU: No?

GLENN: Doctor says I'm getting too much of -- in my diet, of stories about raw milk.

How raw milk went from a whole food staple, to a conservative signal.

This story is fascinating to me. Because it's true. We're like switching places.

If you shopped at Whole Foods, 15 years ago, you were a Democrat. Had to be. Flaming liberal, okay?

Most likely, if you were eating at Cracker Barrel. Most likely, you voted for a Republican.

I don't know who the Democrats have become.

But we are people now, that enjoy Cracker Barrel and raw milk. And I've never -- have you ever had raw milk.

STU: No. I never have. We've talked about it a bunch of times. Never actually consumed it.

GLENN: Should get some raw milk.

STU: I have no interest consuming it, per se. But I know some people really like it.

GLENN: Why?

STU: I don't know.

I think Louis did a decent job with the whole pasteurization thing. That was the whole thing.

GLENN: Good old Louie, man.

STU: I thought he did the right thing.

GLENN: Yeah. Well, I mean, it was a progressive idea.

STU: It was.

As far as --

GLENN: The stats are. Do you know how many people have died?

STU: Oh, I can guess. How many people have died from raw milk, per year? Or what's the time period you're looking for?

GLENN: Give me from 19 -- I'm looking for it here -- 1998 to 2018.

STU: Oh, my gosh. Twenty -- well, 396,000. That's -- I'm just judging on the coverage of it.

GLENN: Yes.

STU: I don't know. Well, it seems like every one who has died.

GLENN: You actually were pretty close. 300 -- what?

STU: 396,000.

GLENN: It was three -- that's it. It was three.

STU: 300 --

GLENN: But your number had a three in it.

It started with a three. So did --

STU: Started with a three.

GLENN: Starts with a three, except it ends with the three.

It's only three. From 1998 to 2018, three.

While oysters have caused hundred deaths every year! And we still eat oysters.

STU: Right. Right. We eat lots of things that could be dangerous. And I don't think raw milk is dangerous.

GLENN: No. And I don't think that -- I don't think -- I was against it, when they were coming down on the Amish.

Leave the poor Amish alone.

I like to drink it right from the teat. Okay. I don't. I don't.

STU: No.

GLENN: But that's the way you want to drink it. Go for it. As long as it's not something else. Just trying to get milk, you know what I'm saying?

STU: I kind of want to get away from the process as much as I can, on this one.

It's one of those things insular want to think about. The more raw to me, the worse.

Because I would rather have more chemicals in it, frankly.

GLENN: In the summers, I live in a town, with a few dairy farms. I don't like driving by them with my windows closed. I just don't want to think about all of that stuff.

However, I hear raw milk is good, and really good for you.

STU: Yeah. Look, if you want to have raw milk, you should be able to have it. You need to know the risks, if there are any. I guess there are some.

GLENN: Three.

STU: Three people have died.

GLENN: 1998 to 2018.

STU: You have to believe though, more people have died from regular milk. Because so many more people drink it.

So I don't know. Same risk happens every time you go to the store and buy things. We all know something can happen.

And like, if you -- I don't understand why you wouldn't allow people to consume it, if they want to.

GLENN: And how did this happen?

How are we the raw milk drinkers? And they're -- Whole Foods stopped carrying it.

STU: Really? Well, remember, Whole Foods has gone through quite a transition.

GLENN: Who bought them? Amazon.

STU: That's right. Amazon. That's right.

GLENN: So now the lefties, I love my Whole Foods. Good thing we don't have any raw milk in here, that's dangerous. And I know because a giant global corporation owns Whole Foods, and they care.

STU: Right. Now, the person who owned it back in the day was a Libertarian. Big time Libertarian. And really believed in the mission of the company. I don't know if Amazon does, or if they just find it in a nice distribution center.

GLENN: Yeah. I don't think Amazon cares about anything, except where their drones can land. You know, I think that's pretty much -- that's pretty much here -- pretty much it.

STU: How many people have died from drones in 1998 to 2003.

GLENN: More than three. More than three.

STU: By the way, Obama was president for a part of that time.

We know it was more than three.
(laughter)

GLENN: Yeah. All right.

Speaking of -- speaking of corrupt government.

Can I just take you, just for a minute, to Liz Cheney?

And the January 6 committee.

Have you heard the latest?

Liz Cheney suppressed evidence, that President Trump pushed for 10,000 national guard troops to protect the nation's Capitol.

This is now verified, by the transcript of the deposition given, and now through Freedom of Information Act, released through the Federalist?

Mollie Hemingway, wrote this unbelievable piece this weekend. We're going to talk about it coming up in great depth with some of the players. But Cheney, and her committee, falsely claimed they had no evidence to support Donald Trump ever communicated with anyone, their desire for 10,000 National Guard troops.

Now, I've heard the opposite from people. And I thought the opposite would have been in the committee!

Right? Wouldn't you think?

If they had the opposite, and it was testimony, you would enter that, as, you know, you know, no.

Actually, people also said this.

They didn't!

They didn't. Only less than half of the information, they collected, was included in the released testimony and final report.

STU: It was obviously totally one-sided.

And you had no one representing the Trump side of this.

GLENN: None.

There's three witnesses that testified, and is in the -- not the final report.

But the actual treasure trove of everything that was gathered. This has now, Republicans put -- could have been on the committee, and decided they didn't want to be part of it, which was understandable.

Also did not give them a voice to bring these things up during the committee. To me, it was a complete waste of time. And we got nothing out of it. And it was just nonsense.

So I don't know that was the wrong move. But this is the type of stuff, that they could have caught, if they were in there.

GLENN: Yeah. But I don't know if it would have made. Did you see the latest, also on Liz Cheney this weekend?

She was instrumental, in the defense chiefs all coming up, and intelligence chiefs saying, Donald Trump in bed.

This looks like a Russian operative thing. And he was involved. That was her. She was organizing all of that.

Through the Cheney name. I mean, how do you believe anything, that comes out of Washington anymore?

STU: We should note that Liz Cheney voted for Trump in 2020.

Which is the most bizarre part, she voted for him. And turned into this person that seemingly has completely dedicated to the --

GLENN: To the big state.

STU: I don't know she's even doing now.

I don't know. Is that still under conversation?

GLENN: Good luck with that, with these things coming out.

STU: Yeah, well, this might be the thing you do. Within the race, blame everything on politics.

GLENN: Maybe she put it out.

Look how anti-Trump I was.

I mean, Nikki Haley. Yeah. She's a rookie. Look what I've done.

STU: Yeah.

GLENN: Glenn Beck Program. Glad you're here. Well. We started the hour with Joe Biden, making sure he was taking care of the illegal who killed Laken. And I mean, he's been so consistent on this.

I mean, Stu, could you imagine if we could go back in time and somehow or another, find like Chuck Schumer, or Biden talking about illegals?

VOICE: Can you scare an employer in this country, whether he's an agricultural worker or housewife, into not hiring an illegal, because the punishment is so high, that if you get caught, it's a huge embarrassment to your family. And you may just get hit with a fine that will kill you.

BIDEN: That's slightly what we should do.

VOICE: Because you can't catch every --

VOICE: No. You can't. And the last part of this is that the democratic position also recognizes. You have 11 million illegal aliens here. They have to have a way to earn their way into the deal. This isn't amnesty. They're required to take 11 year's worth. They pay a fine. They have to learn to speak English. They have to pass...

GLENN: That's -- now, imagine if we could find Chuck Schumer saying the same kind of stuff.

VOICE: When we use the phrases like "undocumented workers," we convey a message to the American people, that the government is not serious about combating illegal immigration. Which the American people overwhelmingly oppose. If you don't think it's illegal, you're not going to say it. I think it is illegal and wrong.

GLENN: Whoa. Whoa. Whoa. Anyway, Stu, can you imagine if we could go back in time and find stuff like that?

STU: Yeah. I mean, we don't have those --

GLENN: Those capabilities. Just all in our imagination.

STU: Yes. That was a fascinating --

GLENN: That was 2009. 2009.

STU: I was going to say, he looked pretty old for the '80s.

GLENN: 2009.

STU: Who was president in 2009? Barack Obama?

GLENN: Barack Obama, talking about, if you're not going to say they're illegal, you're not going to stop it.

STU: He's, of course, right. And he's right in how people hear that. If you won't say that, you probably won't think it's illegal.

GLENN: Well, if anybody, I don't know how anybody who vote Democrat still think that the Democrats, that the Democrats are the ones that are fighting for the little man. The every guy. They're fighting for the labor unions. The closest they get to the little guy.

The labor unions. And then the big corporations.

They're only for big, powerful things. They're not for the individual.

STU: It's a fascinating thing. What a weird transition.

We just -- it just shows we're old. We've done this show long enough together, to see them completely switch sides on like 100 different topics.

GLENN: Can you imagine, if we were on talk radio, back in like 1970s.

We would be like, wait. Johnson.

Johnson would be the guy who stopped the Civil Rights Act. You know, I can't take it anymore.

If you were living in the '60s, you went through this transition. Where all of a sudden, without any rhyme or reason, they just are like, yeah.

I know I was the one using the N-word.

And I'm still proud to use it, you know, at my home and with my friends.

But I think we should help out these inferior races. I mean, how did they pull that off?

Just like they're doing now!

The same kind of transition. Right in front of our eyes.

Why Glenn Beck Dropped the F-BOMB After Biden’s SOTU Speech

Glenn blew a gasket after President Biden’s 2024 State of the Union Address. During BlazeTV’s post-SOTU coverage, Glenn blasted Biden for using the speech to demean Republicans and the Supreme Court and flat-out lie to the American people. But then, he got a little colorful with his language. Glenn explains to his radio audience what Biden said to bring him to that moment: “How DARE [Biden] say that!” Glenn also discusses whether he regrets the outburst and whether Biden accomplished what he wanted with that infuriating speech.

Below is a rush transcript that may contain errors

GLENN: Well, I always like to say, when I make a mistake, I like to lead with it. Last night, if you're watching TheBlaze, I said, which I heard as I was walking away, Stu say, I worked with him for almost 30 years and I've never seen him do that or say that.

I lost my cool. Is that how you would describe that?

STU: That would be an excellent summary of -- of that moment. Yes.

GLENN: Yes. Yes.

CFA. The three words that come to mind, when I'm losing my -- complete, colossal FA. CFA. I will -- I've never -- I don't think I've ever done that before.

STU: I don't think you have either.

GLENN: No. And it happened because I just want to explain this. It happened because I just walked away from the television, where I had been pacing like a caged animal. Because I was so angry at the lies and not only that, the childish rubbing people's noses in it.

You know, when -- when -- first of all, he said, within the first five minutes, that Donald Trump didn't care about the American people during COVID. He know didn't care. How dare you say that.

How dare you say that.

How dare anyone say that about you.

My gosh!

So it started there. And then he went in to rubbing Republican's noses, like in the border. Which was a complete lie.

We all know what caused -- why, on his day of inauguration, all of a sudden, the border surge started. Why?

95 executive orders, allowing it to happen. That's why.

And when he said, oh. You don't care about fentanyl. Oh, you -- oh, suddenly, you want to stop fentanyl coming in, so it stops killing our American -- and I know, and probably you know, if you've been listening this last week, the truth on what's happening with fentanyl. That's coming from China. It's intentionally. It's the opium wars, that Britain did to China.

Oh, so many years ago. They're using the same tactic on us. They are transporting all of the ingredients for fentanyl, over to one of their Chinese ports in Mexico.

It then goes to a small town in Mexico, where a thousand Chinese workers have been transported, and now set up shop, to where they cook the fentanyl. Then China sent over for the drug cartels. Sold them, at cost.

The presses. Because you need to make it look like fentanyl or Adderall, or whatever drug, and so they take the fentanyl, that the Chinese have put together. Cooked up.

Send it over.

Then the drug cartel uses the Chinese presses to make it look like Adderall. And that's what's killing our children. And the president knows it, and he won't say it. He won't stop it. Because he's in bed with China. How dare you!

And when he said, you don't care. Oh. Oh. Suddenly, you care about fentanyl.

Oh, I didn't know that now.

Oh, my gosh.

So I get on. And I'm asked just to do a rundown. And I have my notes. And I'm going true my notes. And I'm talking about it. And I'm trying to make good points. And then I know it's fun. I'm on for like five minutes. And Stu says, thanks, again. And you start to say something else. And I realize, I haven't really expressed what that was.

I -- no point that I made from my notes, really summed up what I felt the president did. And who he was, in that. And that's when I dropped the -- the CFA. Maybe more than once.

And I shouldn't have done that. Because I -- I -- I want to be a better person.

And, quite honestly, I'm glad I am on federally regulated broadcast airwaves today. Because it's why -- one of the reasons why I joined my church. I need strong framework to help me be a better man. And if I were on a podcast only today, I would not be a better man.

So I am grateful for the first time in my life, for the FCC, who will make sure I'm a better man today.

STU: Can we guarantee our affiliates that that mistake from last night, will not occur on this program?

GLENN: We're on a 37-minute delay now. Okay.

Yeah. So we tarted this show, 37 minutes ago.

Yeah. It -- it -- it won't happen. But, boy, do I feel it.

STU: Look, the frustration is understandable. I think we all felt it watching that. Because it's so egregious. And so overt. I mean, I was losing my mind on the economic stuff. Where this guy who fights and campaigns on wanting a shutdown, shuts down millions of businesses.

And/or cheers on, and/or votes on it.

Right? Like he's in support of all these policies.

Donald Trump wants to end them. He criticizes them, and says, he doesn't care about anyone. He wants to kill everybody by ending these policies. He gets into office, he wants to continue this shutdown over and over and over again.

Then finally the American people are like, screw you. We're going back to work, whether you like it or not. A year after this --

GLENN: A year after that, he lifts the ban. Remember, a year? We're still under that.

STU: Right. We didn't even realize that in Texas, for sure. He finally releases it. Everyone is going back to work. Then he stands on stage. And takes credit as a job creator.

I mean, the cynicism of that argument, is almost impossibly egregious.

It is like, if you try to give the most dishonest argument possible, you couldn't craft one better. Than what he did last night. The same thing --

GLENN: In every case.

STU: And he did over and over and over again, on many different topics. So while I appreciate your concern for your own restraint. Last night.

Every -- if you would have been able to put cameras, in everyone's houses watching that. You would have heard a lot of that same word. Everyone felt that way watching that.

GLENN: Oh, my gosh.

STU: Because he's not even trying to be honest.

He's not even trying to craft an argument that makes any sense.

The border argument, makes no sense.

As if we've all been on another planet for the last 50 years. And have no idea what about he thinks about the border.

Maybe he's been really tough on it.

And it's been Republicans, stopping him from securing it all this time.

What moron could possibly believe that argument?

GLENN: 60 percent of the American people. 60 percent of the American people.

STU: I hope it's --

GLENN: No. There are so many people that don't pay attention to the news.

STU: I don't even think it's that high right now. He's trying to increase it.

But what's the poll on his handling of the border? Eighteen percent approve?

It's -- luckily, I think people are seeing through it.

GLENN: He looked like a bumbling idiot. Last night, let's give honest reviews.

Last night, he did not look like a bumbling old man. He -- he -- yeah, he slurred his speech.

But by the time most people tuned out at the end of his speech, just because of anger or boredom. That's when he started getting really sloppy.

But he made several great -- I mean, I believe if I'm on his side, I would say, that's a great speech.

STU: Well, it was a great speech, because he didn't fall over. He didn't fall asleep.

GLENN: Yes, and he had several moments of, I will not budge!

STU: And while it feels so contrived to me.

I think he -- he -- he cleared that lowest hurdle, which the lowest hurdle was, he has to show he has some vigor, even if it's completely drug-induced.

He has to show -- so he did hit that standard, which is big for him.

Let's be honest. For him the biggest problem he has, in every single poll, much worse than even the border or Afghanistan or any of these other topics, is his age.

And everyone thinks he can't do this job. I still think he can't do this job. And I think last night proved it for policy reasons, among others.

But he did show that he was awake.

GLENN: Yeah. He did. He did. He did.

STU: And that was important.

GLENN: And if you're uninformed.

Or you just believe in all the same things that he does, then you thought he did a great job.

And, you know, you give credit where credit is due. He did not perform the way I thought he would perform, as a doddering old man. However, he always performs best in that setting.

STU: Yes. That's it. Look, his biggest moments have been the moments where he's been able to show this.

Debates are another one. He's typically shown up for debates. He hasn't been good in them.
He hasn't been as bad as he has been in every other scenario.

GLENN: Correct. Correct.
