Glenn tells Bill O’Reilly that there is a ‘War on Faith’

Last night Glenn was on “The O’Reilly Factor” with his friend Bill O’Reilly to discuss the Obama administration’s attacks on Catholics and other religious groups. And he wore a velvet coat…and had a pipe…apparently Glenn took O’Reilly’s orders to “dress up” to heart. What’d he have to say? Find out in the clip above.

  • http://www.artinphoenix.com/gallery/grimm snowleopard (cat folk gallery)

Indeed there is a war on faith right now; I honestly feel we are in the end game of the world, we each need to make our peace with God and walk with Lord Jesus; for he will come as a thief in the night when most of the world fails to expect it.

The time of great danger and delusion is upon us as well; as the good book says there will be a time that the very elect may be decieved, (Matt 24:24)

Anyone doubting the Devil can do miracles just look to the old testament book of Job, and to the book of Revelations (16:13-14).

We are fighting not just against mankind but against higher principles and great powers; we though through faith have God and Jesus, plus the host of heaven on our side. With them on our side nothing is impossible to hope for. Miracles are happening daily around us; look to the fact of how divided the democrats were when they had absolute control of our govenrment, and only managed Obama-care as their main success.

God is restraiing the darkness for now, to give us time to wake up and warn the others. Pray to be ready when the restraints come loose. For we will face a test such as the world has never seen before.

    Luckily we have you Glenn

You are EXACTLY RIGHT, and so is Glen Beck!!  People better wake up.  Bill O’Reilly disappoints me sometime.  It seems he tries too hard to give Obama the benefit of a doubt and in so doing , misses the whole point.

Glenn, I am with you. We all need much prayer for this nation.  We do not want GOD o take his hand off of US

I am sorry that you even wasted your time on O’Reilly, the only good thing obout his show is Dennis Miller.  With out Dennis I would not have in the past to even turn his show on.  Not only does O’Reilly have a snotty demeaner, he clearly is blinded about what Obama was sent here to do to our beloved land.

I fully agree, read Daniel 6.

I agree with you Bill.  I believe the whole contraceptive mandate was calculated.  If Obama wasn’t fought by the bishops he wins.  If he compromises he gets to say, hey look I came up with a comprimise and still not enough.  I believe that faith has been underattack for many, many years.

Yes, it is war against our faith, it is the spirit of antichrist. We should be making sure our lamps are full of oil  Mat.25:5-13  Many warnings are going out, watch for the bridegroom is coming. See the signs all around us. Don’t be like the foolish virgins.

Snowleopard people like you are the problem in this world. if you were born in the ME as a Muslim, you’d be the type to join Al Qaeda.  You superstitious religious fundamentalists are a danger to the rest of us rational people.

I just cant believe that FOX allows progressives to make points and stir up the conversation so that there is no clear point of view. That is helping Mr. Zer0© fog the conversation and stay in office. Even Satan can quote the scriptures … as Mr. Zer0© feebly attempted to do recently … but its the misquotes and misuse of the word of God that bedevils us and causes the faithful to loose faith … and hope. This is the change that Mr. Zer0© wants for all of us!!!

    of course there is

  • http://twitter.com/Beckisnuts77 Beckisnuts

He was wrong when he hyped Joe Lieberman’s attendence at his Israel rally to help promote and launch GBTV last summer. He’s wrong when he advertises over-priced French gold coins to gullible listeners on his radio show. He’s wrong when he says over and over that the “ARM OF GOD” will appear in our lifetimes. He’s wrong to exaggerate the possible dangers in the world and attribute it to supernatural evil. He’s wrong to cherry-pick extreme examples of odd-ball types of people and mockand bully them on the air (Sandy McMillen  http://www.flickr.com/photos/55751455@N02/5987685144/in/photostream/

Glenn is not stable emotionally and it shows every day when he’s on the airwaves ranting and crying. The guy needs help too. He’s losing it – even saying he’s being tempted by Satan to drink again. That’s just plain silly. I sincerely hope that Glenn gets some help and gets his feet back on the ground. He needs to move away from the burden of all the hocus pocus before it’s too late. This is getting very serious.

  • http://twitter.com/Beckisnuts77 Beckisnuts

Do you believe Santorum thinks we’re living in the Biblical end times like you yourself do? Glenn said yesterday that he no longer believes that. Only that we are “building toward it” which is an attempt by him to look less extreme and nutty.

  • http://twitter.com/Beckisnuts77 Beckisnuts

Religions should pay taxes like every other for-profit enterprise.  Then they won’t feel so “under attack.”  They’re businesses for crissakes, selling fantasy and superstition but a business like any other none the less.

yep Sis…the Restrainer even as we watch is being taken out of the Way…lawlessness is increasing more and more day after day….

  • http://twitter.com/Beckisnuts77 Beckisnuts

I’m no fan of Obama, but Beck’s supernatural end times obsession is ridiculous. Reagan was a good conservative and he had a positive outlook on the future. Beck believes all is lost and he’s just waiting for the heavens to come down to earth and take over. Well, I got news for all of you: It’s NEVER going to happen and when you’re on your death beds in the future, you’ll know then that I am right. Do some thinking, historical and scientific research and you’ll see that the religious narratives simply do not hold up.  The only gods, devils, demons and angels are the ones in your imagination.

  • http://twitter.com/Beckisnuts77 Beckisnuts

BTW, who are these idiots that are threatening Beck and his family? I thought he said texas was his kind of place and Texans were his kind of people? Guess he was wrong about that too. At any rate, if it’s true, I’d stand at Glenn’s side and help deal with them. One can disagree with another without resorting to that kind of trashy behavior. I certainly hope no harm comes to Glenn or his family.

And just makes her so DANGEROUS to THE REST OF US.  People like you always feel the need to show just how far above “the rest of us” you are. I don’t feel threatened by her or her thoughts, beliefs. You said she would join Al Qaeda “REALLY” ???? Which is why I have no use whatsoever for Bill 0′Reilly.

Bill is talking out of both sides of his mouth.  He says he doesn’t buy this war on faith thing, but then agrees that secularism has to attack what is the perceived culprit…..that being faith in this situation.  Come on Bill, you’re smarter than that!  AND….you’ve been friends with Glenn long enough to know that he knows of what he speaks.  Stop helping to perpetuate the issues Glenn fights so vehemently against and help us battle against the destruction of the greatest country in the history of the world.

The bigots on the left hate us people of faith. Why because we believe the bible as the whole truth? Muslims believe their book is the real truth why is not the left going after them? The Jews believe their book has all the answers but they don’t get attack why is that?  People no matter what faith they will come after all of us no matter if you are Christian like me Muslim or Jewish. They have to get rid of us so that they can push their plains of immorality on the masses. The left are getting sick of waiting but in their haste they have shown their hand. We know what to do and how to beat them. Alone we are weak but together we can stop this evil. Let’s get rid of their idol Obama. Break the chains of silence and show them we have a voice like the brave Catholics been doing lets stand with them as one and show them that we may have our different beliefs but we will stand together for are rights to believe that there is a God.

Glenn, There’s one question that perplexes me that I pray you’ll answer one day for “inquiring minds like mine”. Why do you waste your time talking to Bill O’Reilly; a man who has little or no respect for you? He wrote you off as a mere “provocateur” last year as you were preparing to launch GBTV and he continues to show disdain for your insight.  As a commentator on current events, his attempt to placate both sides has left him with “both feet planted firmly in the air”!  You’re always telling us to stop wasting out time on folks who aren’t awake yet, so perhaps you need to hear it from us.  Stop wasting your time on Bill!  He’s asleep and isn’t likely to hear your warning.

  • Anonymous

One problem O’Reilly, the judge ignored our religious rights to make that decision. That’s why there is still a fight going on.
Another thing, don’t discount Obam-bam, he is spurring our people to revolt for martial law to take over and we lose everything with no chance to fight back. Stop sticking your head in the sand, it’s getting old. Our “Halftime Day of Rage” is coming…

Glenn Beck is right about war on faith, and O’Reilly needs to switch over to CNN.  Frankly, we missed this b/c we rarely watch O’Reilly anymore due to his left-leaning bloviating.  Where’s he hiding that he doesn’t get this?  He’s overpaid and he “overtalks” everyone…so full of himself.

Obama took an oath to “preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States of America”.  In attempting to force people to act against their conscience, he is trying to take away their 1st Amendment right to freedom of religion.  The next step would be to take away our other 1st Amendment rights of free speech and freedom of the press.

I am a leader in my faith group and in my opinion there is an intens war waged against religion in all aspects. The most inconvenient seems to be Christianity and therefore it is the primary target. Other religions follow closely depending on how inconvenient they present themselves to be. I did not hear any direct attacks on Baha religion. Am I wrong?

As much I enjoy O’Reilly balanced talking points, on this one, in my opinion he is out of balance. And that’s the Memo!

I believe in the lord and I do believe the day is coming. People want to complain because people have free thought. I am a college student and I am currently taking Critical thinking and Logic Skills and Macroeconomics. These two classes couldn’t come at a better time. I am one of the people that can see what is happening, Obama is trying to get everyone one so dependent on the government for their means. If an average person would sit down and actually think about what is going on they would see the disaster coming. I am a pre-law student that believes that the Constitution is extreme law of the land, yes, at times it protects the people that we want to see have justice, but it gives every American rights. Everyday these same rights are stripped from us by the very government that is sworn to protect it. Under the 2nd Amendment we have the right to baer arms and to start a militia to protect the free states. What is going to happen when they take that right away and the secret police come to your home and steal everything from you? I dont care if you believe in Jesus, Budda, Mohammad, or any other faith, but jesus had it right when he said to love one another and forgive your brothers and sisters. Look we all have to live in this world, so why are we making it difficult to live with one another? I know where I am going to be when the world ends, watching from high above.

O’Reilly has become a public hypocrite and even more arrogant “..fair and balanced..” wag. He is at best an agnostic and with his lack of understanding-refusal to acknowledge the financial crisis with this debt he shows no understanding of biblical references to keeping our houses in order and the money changers. My wife and I have over 50 years of combined international bank consulting and this is a disaster which we will never recover in our lifetimes. Maybe that is why O’Reilly has the position he does.  I got mine and my life is in the last 25% in years so what do I care.
I will say both my wife and I thought Glenn came off as condescending as well. He did not follow his own advice from Washingtons “Civility” notes in his book.

Do some research of your own. It will show that all the “college…university..scientific and otherwise were the result of religions, and more than likely the modern ones where more progress was made in 2000 years than in the prior 50,000 years. Actually more modern medical, engineering( flying, engines, X-Rays, DNA, agriculture improvements, communications, computers) has occurred in the last 250 years. Oh, but that unfortunately coincides with America and Free Enterprise and the belief in a Creator.

May God forgive you in your ignorance and intolerance.

get  up.I guess I’m much too worried about our country to have much of a sense of humor.
O”Reilly is really so full of himself sometimes I just can’t watch.Much like BHO on tv.Turn it off!!!

Anyone who would say there is NOT a war on Faith is either ignorant or has been blinded to truth.  Part of me is surprised that O’Reilly says there isn’t a war started against Faith, yet, the other part of me is not at all surprised. He has maintained some stances on other issues that have brought me to shaking my head and saying he’s not right!   But, O’Reilly always thinks he’s right.

Snowleopard wrote so very well, I think she knows me. Therefore, I don’t need to do double duty.  I’ll just say “Ditto”, and ask the question my Dear Twin Brother asked everyone during his last few years of fighting brain cancer, “Where are you in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ?”

God have Mercy on us and our Nation.

Glenn is right — ORielly just refuses to understand the length and breathdth and width of the battle for America  and her soul which belongs to God, that is truly happening!!!!

Glenn won because there are some things O’Rielly just refuses to face, one of those is the length, breadth, and width for the soul of America which has been blessed by God, but is about to fall like the Roman Empire!!!   (Or just look across the pond — and there we are!!!)

Yes there is a war on religion! Has been going on slowly for some time.
Glenn, too bad you had to “perform” on the O’Reilly Factor. I believe you lost your credibility. Next time, present your ideas for what they are, good solid information. You don’t need props to be on tv.

Glenn , you haVE TO REMEMBER bILL Can be a very slow learner… He numbs his brain to give the devil in the white house the benefit of doubt.. He may have to learn the hard way..

Sometimes Bill lets his ego get in the way of his insight… as have a lot of people also done today..

there is indeedy an attack on faith and christianity in this country… O’Reilly is still employed on Fox news, Glenn is not… hmmm?  make a stand.. usa is in a battle for the heart and soul of this country… hello???
jesus said… as they hated me, they will hate you…
why is that?  why do people hate others for doing right, or speaking the right thing?
i know some people do the right thing, when bad things happen, and others just go

Noone can take our personal faith away but ourself. BUT yes, the Obama Administration, including Congress (alot of them) are doing everything they can to destroy belief in anything other than “your President Obama”.  Sounds Fascist? Yes.  Control & Power and that can’t be shared with a  God or displayed whatsoever.  Obama is shaky and he knows it. He knows Who to Cater to that has money, power and All the Propaganda Machines he needs.

For those of us that know he wants all the power & control, we must Keep our Faith at Home and with our Children and our friends and then with strangers. We must make a Big Noise to our Congress & Senators as much as you can. Blog as much as you can.  It does NOT need to be any big Bible study at all.  It needs to be by all the good things, all the Faith in our Fathers, (constitution and founders and Bill of Rights). It needs to be Patriotic to our Country and Not to Obamas socialistic ideals.

Remembering when in grammar school, saying the Pledge before our class. Remembering donating my saved change and donating it to the March of Dimes for sick kids. Remembering during the mid 40′s toward end of war, my parents always discussing with us at dinner about talking and thinking of our soldiers and the Blessings we had, no matter how small or big.
Remembering the Safety and Security in my parents arms, hugs, sharing, listening to
good radio shows. Remembering the whole neighborhood being welcoming and caring to every kid on the block and every family at least, knowing each other.  Remembering my parents involvement in my schools and my schoolwork and their pride and help. Remembering seeing all the different type churches in community, with NO bad talk against one or another, just joy to see them.  Remembering churches opening their doors to anyone that needed space for their
needs and no charge, just clean up when done.  NOT remembering anyone having the power of just one ole grumpy gripe to change everything nor did they try.  Remembering school Christmas Plays and Hannukah Plays etc.  And the displays for all to share.  Remembering all the Big Band Sounds, and funny Abbott and Costello movies.  GEEZ, I was so Lucky to have all this growing up as a child.  WHY ARE WE ALLOWING IT ALL TO BE TAKEN AWAY???

  • Anonymous

Wow, calm down.  You sound very threatened by someone having a different perspective than you…so much for the supposed “tolerance” you liberals preach but don’t have.

Actually, in truth, NONE OF THIS is Glenn Beck’s “supernatural end times obsession”.   One cannot give him ANY CREDIT for any of this.

I can only assume you have NOT truly – YOURSELF – done what you have told others to go do. You know, “do some thinking, historical and scientific research”. Let me direct you to some really great reads: how about the ancient historian Flavius Josephus, or Herodotus, he’s another great ancient historian. They’re two of my “Favs”.  Another really great read (and written about 10 yrs or so ago) is “Betrayed” by Stan Telchin. Now THAT’S a really great and revealing read!!!   One of my favorite modern day autobiographies.

For you, Beckisnuts, I really hope that you come to see and understand TRUTH before you are taking your last breath. After that last breath it will be too late. You will see the truth then, however, it will be too late for you to respond to it.

Before you reach that last breath, IF with a truly searching hungry heart and mind you ask the God you don’t believe in to reveal Himself to you in a mighty, special way that would be meaningful only to you, AND YOU ARE TOTALLY SINCERE in this request, HE will grant it. And, IF you sincerely keep asking for more, HE will do that too, even though you say here that HE does not exist.  I am praying for you right now, and I hope you decide to do this before you reach that last breath of yours.  May our God Bless You Richly.   ;-)

  • Joe Hunter

I wish O’Reilly were right , but he is not.  Beck has proven himself to be right on target time and time again.  You know why?  Most of his predictions come from Biblical and historical prophesies and events.  I think for whatever reason, O’Reilly is either very naive or is behaving like a non-committal politician trying not to step too hardly on anyone’s toes.

    Glenn Beck is right.
Our Constitution guarantees our right to freedom of religion.
We should not have to pay for abortions or contraception

right of free speech to speak against this injustice.

Unlike Hannity, OReilly has begun to disappoint more and more.  You are right, Glenn, I, too, have noticed the attacking of any display of Christianity every time a self-proclaimed athiest peeps about being offended.  And ACLU quiet as a mouse about Obama’s heavy hand on Catholics. Catholics compromised their principles early on by  supporting Obamacare. Looks as if that wasn’t a good decision.

I think Glenn is right.  O’Reilly wouldn’t even let Glenn speak.  He is a big blowhard and just wants to hear himself talk.  My husband has said there will be fighting in the streets even before Glenn ever mentioned it.  I hope it doesn’t come to that.  All I hope, with all my heart, that Obama is defeated in the next Presidential election.  When I hear people saying he is going to win again all I can think is that’s the end of the America I grew up in and knew.  I was a young girl during WW II and  saw the pride people had in this country and now when I see what is happening, it actually makes me sick.

I saw a You-tube today showing Judge Judy in court.  The woman was suing her boyfriend for rent money.  He said he had no money,  Even though the government was paying his rent and a college fee and he wasn’t even going to college.  CBS pulled that show from viewing.  You may go on You-Tube and find it.

Glenn Beck: “What’s not to like about Ellen?”Sandy Rios – Guest Columnist – 2/9/2012 10:20:00 AM

Imagine you had to make a case against Ellen DeGeneres being the new spokesman for JCPenney. Ellen is charming and delightful … witty, warm and engaging. What’s not to like about Ellen DeGeneres? And yet for thousands … yeah millions of Penney’s customers, it is an unsettling proposition.

American Family Association’s OneMillionMoms have said as much. In fact they’ve asked JCPenney to reconsider their choice of a spokesperson. They’ve launched a campaign to get Penney customers to tell the retailer how they feel. But thousands are fighting back, including the new CEO of JCPenney, former Apple executive Ron Johnson, who said, “I think Ellen is someone we all trust. She’s loveable, likeable, honest and funny, but at her soul, we trust her.” On-line petitions have sprung up sponsored by the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Discrimination, GLAAD, in fierce defense of DeGeneres. It’s the intolerant Religious Right pitted against the affable and charming Ellen DeGeneres and really, on that basis it is a losing battle.
(Editor’s note: In video to the right, DeGeneres responds to OneMillionsMom, which she describes as among her “haters.”)

But this isn’t about Ellen’s winsome personality or her caring approach to her guests. It’s about the private choices she has publicly flaunted and the profound influence she has chiefly because of her charm and likeability. Openly lesbian, Ellen is “married” to her partner Portia Rossi. Militantly gay, DeGeneres has fought for homosexual rights including marriage and indoctrination in public schools. Some scoff and laugh while others yawn at the backward demands of so narrow-minded a group as OneMillionMoms. But here is what is happening while America nods in acquiescence:● Kevin Jennings, founder of GLSEN and former Obama Safe Schools Czar was the keynote speaker at a state-sponsored workshop on March 25, 2000, at Tufts University. Massachusetts Department of Education employees described to students as young as 12 the pleasures of homosexual sex. Here is part of the transcript:”Fisting [forcing one's entire hand into another person's rectum or vagina] often gets a bad rap. [It's] an experience of letting somebody into your body that you want to be that close and intimate with … [and] to put you into an exploratory mode.”● In California public schools there are no longer barriers to bathrooms distinguished by gender. If a student “thinks” he is a girl, he can go to the girl’s bathroom. No textbook or teacher can mention marriage in traditional terms like “husband” and “wife” but must now use “partner” as the acceptable description.● In Minnesota, a battle is currently raging to allow teachers to propagate homosexuality, transgenderism and gay marriage openly in the classroom.● At Boston Children’s Hospital, a transgender clinic now administers medicine to pre-adolescent children as young as nine to stop puberty, later administering hormones to make boys into girls and girls in to boys. In the process, these kids are rendered infertile and readied for surgeries to alter and remove sex organs accordingly (see related article). The Dr. Mengele of the project, Dr. Norman Spack, was showcased in the Boston Globe while at the same time featured by a bondage and sado-masochism group, the New England Leather Alliance.● Young girls at a New England conference were shown videos of how to remove healthy breasts if they “feel” they should be boys.● School health classes are challenging students to consider whether they might be gay. One in Glen Ellyn, Illinois, went so far as to suggest students try sex with a same-sex friend to find out.● Parents are increasingly unable to object or opt out their children as young as kindergarten from participation in gay promotion from “Days of Silence” and “Transgender Days” to closed-door graphic orientations by homosexual students to children as young as fourteen. This is what we’ve come to in the United States of America. And yet most of America yawns. How can that be?Humans are capable of adjusting to almost anything. Soldiers freak out at the first sign of death, but hardened by battle in due course. Women adjust to men who beat them … young girls to fathers who rage in a drunken stupor. Patty Hearst accustomed herself to the views of her Symbionese Liberation Army Captors. We can adjust to almost anything, but it doesn’t make that “anything” healthy, normal or right. We have adjusted ourselves to the point of breaking on the issue of homosexuality. We have invited through media what would have been unthinkable ten years ago into our own homes daily. We have opened our doors to deviancy and adjusted ourselves to the dark, foul draft. We send our children off to be indoctrinated by teachers indoctrinated themselves with homosexual advocacy by the National Education Association and declare our schools “safe.” We laugh at gay characters in sit-coms, reality and talk shows and have become so desensitized; we can no longer distinguish from personal affection for them and disapproval of how they live. And so it is with Ellen DeGeneres. We like her and therefore cannot bring ourselves to condemn what she does or see any harm in her being the spokesperson for a company where America’s traditional families shop. We are incapable of making the distinction and so we open wide the gates and assure for ourselves the future homosexual activists have long written about: the complete eradication of the traditional family and the acceptance of any sexual choice anyone wants to make.At least with Ellen we’ll have some laughs as we descend into moral chaos.

O’Reilly is a wimp.  He dances around every subject and always has given Obama the benefit of  the doubt when something is clearly evident and true.  In the past year or so, O’Reilly has really changed on his views as to when he first started on Fox.  He doesn’t get the guests on his show like he use to.

    Glenn,
You are absolutely correct about Obama wanting to destroy Christianity.  He isn’t concerned about contraception, he is using that to try to make Conservatives and the Catholic church look like bigots, he really wants to force Christians to pay for abortions, because it’s against God’s laws.

Unfortunately O’reilly really doesn’t get it yet.  He is still trying to hang on but he’s going to hang on to a dead horse pretty soon and that dead horse will be America, because if Obama gets back in, it will be the end of America as we have known it.  We are not perfect as a nation no nation is but when you have a President of that nation deliberately trying to destroy it from the inside out and you have someone like O’reilly who purports to be intelligent and with it not getting it then we are in trouble. What other natioin in the whole world has people trying to sneak into and over it’s border’s… that’s right America, why do they come here, why do the muslims come here, to get away from shariah law, to have freedom, that’s why other’s from other nations come for freedom and we are destroying that freedom deliberately from within and it’s being led by Barrack Hussein Obama and his staff Valerie Jarret, and all the rest of his Csars too.   The only one on TV that was giving it like it really is, was Glenn, and they managed to oust him off the public airwaves and who is there to speak up now.
Our country is going down the tubes… did  you hear on Fox or anywhere else where the military and police were doing joint excercises in downtown Los Angeles,?  Did you hear or listen when they said on Fox the other day about the 30,000 plus drones that are going to be flying overhead, not over Iraq, or Afghanistan but over “our heads” that’s right right here in good ole
US of A to keep track of all us out here in the hinterlands.

“Enough is Enough” is a phrase everyone is hearing over and
over these days …What is going on with the Obama Administration.  What is happening with everyone’s Religious Liberties
and all our other liberties once the Government starts mandating everything…The
    latest…  Health and Human Services
mandating our lives and the Government backing them up!  The Devil’s bargain do it or be fined by the
Government.  Violate religious freedom – no
problem!   Violate conscience-no problem.  Violate the Constitution – no problem!    What
about individual people of faith, private business owners, religious
institutions, what about tax payers who feel the Government has no right to
charge us more for immoral legislation.
Taxes are outrageous enough the way our money is spent without forcing
more especially those against the conscience of most of Americans.  This is about unjust intrusion, violating tax
payers, and Religious Institutions on all fronts.  These unjust intrusions by our Government
must stop!  We need to get back to the
Constitution and the principles upon which this Nation was founded.  Our Constitution should not be based on the
opinions of certain individuals but upon principles that protect liberty and
personal rights.  Once these are removes
the whole country is in peril.  It’s time
for Americans to speak up and defend the Constitution, Religious, and
personal  freedoms before these are taken
away.  Perhaps it’s time to put prayer
back in schools and be allowed to have the 10 Commandments in the Marketplace
again.  It’s strange how once these liberties
were removed all the bad statistics rose and rose, more crime, more out of
wedlock pregnancies, more drug addicts, more alcoholics, etc.  For those who Trust in God perhaps this is a
good quote to end on…2 Cron 7:14  if my
people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my
face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will
forgive their sin and will heal their land.

I’ve been saying for a long time now that we’re at the end of the end days. I however don’t believe that we Christians here in the U.S. are going to escape perilous times through the rapture. I do believe we will be raptured but I believe we will see some of the perilous times as those in other countries already are. Last year 100,000 Christians were killed for their faith and we here in the U.S. aren’t special and will see perilous times and even death for our faith in Christ also. To believe otherwise would be to delude yourselves. Each day we get closer to our economic collapse, riots in the streets, attacks from extremist crossing our border through mexico thanks to our current leadership opening it up or rather refusing to safegaurd it and then suit the states who are on that border and doing what the federal govt. won’t. then there will be attacks from our own government with not just policies but I believe we’ll have martial law and executions of believers and it will be spun like it’s all our fault so even our neighbors will turn on us. Well Jesus said if the world hates you take heart because it first hated him. But all in all any sufferings we endure here in this time will be worth the reward. If you’re a christian I pray that your faith will stand in the face of persecutions don’t faint or waver and we’ll recieve that prize on that day this is what being a christian is really about, going to heaven and taking as many with me as I can.

Glenn, you are right.  In the last 4 to 8 years it has become a sin to pray before a football or baseball game, it has become an insult to some people to display the Nativity scene at Christmas and now we must have the government tell our religious establishments that they must supply and pay for items that is a mortal sin.  All that is left is the death camps for those who are religious as was done in WWII by Hitler.

  • Anonymous

Don’t think O’Reilly could say there isn’t a war against Faith.  Every Christmas, he brings up the

subject of the attack against Christmas by towns/cities or communities through the banning of

Oreilly has become soft of so much over the past year, losing his appeal and he had best wake up. He is playing the middle of the road on so much. Glen is right about the war on faith, particularly in the press. But then again, the press is also in a fight against free enterprise, their socialist rapture becoming full circle.

I get the picture that Oreilly is becoming a softie on so many things that made his program great and so well received and expect that his audience is going to dwindle in the future. He has become an Obama sympathizer in so many areas. Rather disturbing.

  • Dale Hogue

I agree with Glenn Beck on this subject matter and all other subject matter where Bill O’Reilly and Beck disagree.  I like Beck.  I don’t like O’Reilly, but I put up with him because he has very good people assigned to his Factor Program by those smart owners and smart directors and smart producers who work for the FoxNewsNetwork.

I keep waiting for O’Reilly to give these people the credit they deserve — and actually keep his mouth shut so they can do their job - but he appears so obsessed with what little talent he has that he seemingly demands that his voice be the only one heard on the Factor Program. Because of the constant interrupptive actions by him toward his guests, I find it harder and harder to pay any attention to any of his opinions on matters related to the subject matter that is being reported and/or discussed on the Factor Program.  That was a mouth full, but I think I covered all the bases in this paragraph.

However, I honestly believe that he has been infected by the same virus that controls the actions and words of our Muslim president, but I can’t prove it, so I probably shouldn’t write it in one of these little posting boxes.  Now that I have typed these words out, I just can’t find any real need to edit them or change them or delete them.  Know what I mean?

Hi bjv, O’Reilly appears to want to straddle the fence.
I’ve often thought Bill is a literal man, he has to see, touch, or hear facts, then he allows himself to take that leap into what I deem reality.

With his profession you would think he would be able to put all the pieces together to come to a conclusion.

Also, in his profession he probably can’t state what he may believe privately,no?
All things being “Fair and Balanced.” I believe is the motto.
On the other side of the coin, when will he wake up?

Glenn Beck is right on target.  Bill O’Reilly is a really nice guy but goes overboard trying to be fair.  In doing that, the “folks” are not getting the right scoop and then confusion sets in.   Do we not see the takeover plans right before our eyes?  Do we not see the persecution against Christians and Jews going on right under our noses in this country?  Are we blind?  Americans had better wake up from their slumber before it’s too late. The midnight hour is here.  We need to get on one side or another and take our stand for righteousness sake. I love my country and am praying for her. God help us and God bless America.

Bill O’Reilly either doesn’t recognize or is not allowed to express the reality of George Soros’ et al influence over our President. That being true, it leaves Mr. O’Reilly with the choice of either pleasing his employer or telling the whole truth (if he, in fact, knows it). There is not only a war on faith in the U.S., there is a war on America itself — to destroy the Middle Class.

Bll O’Reilly just doesn’t totally get it,and I don’t think he ever will until it is almost to last.

Brad, two questions: Who has spent more time with O’Reilly—Glenn or you?

Which one of you two probably knows him better?

  • Anonymous

First: because Mr, O’Reilly runs under the “fair and balanced” banner, sometimes he has to play devil’s advocate, personal feelings notwitstanding.
Second: there is indeed a war on faith because that is how communism threads its slimy tentacles in and destroys a country.  Have you learned nothing from the Soviet Union and Nazi Germany?
Third:  Mr. Beck is not nuts nor is he preaching one of those silly end-of-the-world philosophies.  He is an intelligent, sensitive patriot who has thought long and hard about our country’s dire situation and is begging us, no PLEADING with us to stand up with him and refuse to allow our country to be sold down the river because we became too complacent and thought- it’s not my problem.  They’re not interested in me.  YES THEY ARE!!!
Finally: Satan’s greatest trick was convincing people he didn’t exist.  He must be laughing his head off right now.  So let’s all beat him at his own game by spending more time listening to and obeying our Heavenly Father.  Life goes along so much better when we do.

Sally, besides Miller, I also like it when Bernie Goldberg comments on the news.

And for more laughs, I like the Great American Quiz (or whatever it’s called) with Steve

and Martha  competing.   It gives my brain a workout to try to get the right answers.

I like it, too, when O’Reilly has guests with opposing points of view.   I may not agree,

but I learn what ”the other side” is thinking (and sometimes, why.)

I, along with many friends, no longer watch Fox–O’Reily is a pompus ass and a very flustered old man. He butts in too much – don’t want to listen – got sick of that. Liked Shepherd Smith at one time but not now – in fact he looks sick- Maybe his lifestyle got him down. So there you are- I will catch Megan whoever to check what the news is - otherwise- I read what is going on in the world- on Drudge, WND-a paper from France, one from Russia, several from England and several from Israel, Canada, Autrailia – so who neeeds the now LIBERAL Fox. I could go on and on – but I’d be farting in the wind.

Glad you understand that Bill knows Beck is correct, tawny.  He was a history teacher,

for Pete’s sake, so I don’t think he is as ignorant of what is going on in this nation as

many of the posters have claimed.   His book Killing Lincoln is a best seller—I’m sure he

must have had to read the research on that.  Meaning: he may have had someone do

the research, but had to read what was found in order to use it in his book.

It’s a dangerous time we live in islamic fundamentalism in the east. Environmentalism, peacemovements, feminism, anticapitalist socialism, new age movement and political correctness in the west… so on and so fourth. these false doctrines are extremly seductive ideal for some. but these movements are becoming an out of control hallicinatory lie that the world is starting to believe. These  idealisms will make the west and all humanbeings stand for nothing. Judeo christianity, even if you can’t stand it represents the truth. It’s opposed to untruths and resists them. Jesus stood for truth within yourself and causes you to confront that. People in these  movements can’t look at  that truth. Therefore they make up a lie, that leeds to living in darkness and all it’s false promises.

O.P., as I’ve commented to another poster, O’Reilly was a former history teacher

so he can’t be that ignorant of what is going on in this nation.  He makes his

thoughts known at the top of his show in his Talking Points. The rest of the show

is spent with his various guests on a variety of topics. If anyone thinks he should

go after B.O., then send him an e-mail and tell him and why.

secularism is nothing else than a religion,  which means that a religion of secularism tries to push christianity from public level in order to become dominant religion in the nation. That place used to belong to christianity which was established not by a law of a Congress but by a free choice of people. In fact religion of secularism has a right to promote their faith according to the first ammendment, which  does not allow Congress to make a law forbidding free exercise of religion. Now it’s a challenge for christians if they exercise their rights to proclaime their values in public spheres of life like government, school system etc. If christians do not do it somebody else will. That place can’t be vacant

Here’s what I don’t understand about Bill’s rationale. Bill wrote a book called “Culture Warrior” that claims “that America is in the midst of a fierce culture war between those who embrace traditional values and those who want to change America into a “secular-progressive” country. Clayton Christensen of HBS defines “Culture” as Values and Processes. Culture is inextricably connected to values and processes. If you want to change culture, then you need to change values, and the processess will change to match the value change…

Glenn, you should have Clayton Christensen on the show… He was in the Reagan administration before writing one of the most important business books of our time “The Innovator’s Dilemma”, but if you’re short on time “Seeing What’s Next” is an easier read…

Since obama was crowned he has been at war with religion.  One of his first speeches was scheduled at a very Catholic university of which he ordered all statues be covered.  A recent quote from his highness….”clinging to our God and our guns”.

I am perhaps one of Glenn Beck’s greatest fans, however, how about cleaning up a little?  I know it shouldn’t matter what a person looks like, only the values and standards one has.  My Mother always said that a person acts as they are dressed and if I hadn’t had the opportunity to get to know and respect you, your appearance on O’Reilly certainly didn’t give you much credibility.  I am asking you to continue with your eye opening facts on our elected representatives, but you need to regain your credibility by looking and acting more professional.

I watched the interview.  O’Reilly is in intentional denial.  For a man who says “the spin stops here”,  he has spun out of the ability to see the facts that are totally obvious to anyone who will let them speak.  I think he is not doing personal investigation on such stories.  He is sincere, but sincerely wrong.

Where was “GOD” for the 100,000+ years modern people have roamed the planet prior to his supposed appearance in the ME 4K years ago?  Religion is a man-made, false belief system and that’s extremely obvious.A real god would never had made half of his special creations subserviant to the other half either. I’m right and you’re wrong and when you’re at the end of your life and Jesus has not arrived, you’ll remember this and feel foolish. You’ll also admit that Beck was full of hogwash as well. That’s a guarantee goober.

  • http://twitter.com/Beckisnuts77 Beckisnuts

You are obviously undereducated and somewhat delusional. I hope you’re not a person with violent tendencies. That would make you a danger to others rather than simply a danger to yourself. Off you go now. Work on your spelling.

  • http://twitter.com/Beckisnuts77 Beckisnuts

Glenneth does in deed have an obsession with the end times and it’s been heavily documented by myself and many others. Several times in 2011 he ranted and raged that we are living in the biblical end times and will be seeing “the ARM of GOD” in our lifetimes.  To deny that is simply false and contrary to the facts.

Scientific advancements have been made in spite of religion. Giving religion the credit for the work of science is ludicrous, laughable and dead wrong.

  • http://twitter.com/Beckisnuts77 Beckisnuts

Do as you wish, but if you try to make your superstitious beliefs the burden of others, you’re making a big mistake. Evangelical Christians would be the ones wearing bomb vests if they were born Muslims.

Why would anyone expect Bill O’Reilly to agree with Glenn Beck on this? O’Reilly is a panderer and a provocateur, as well as a frequent bully- look at all the passes he has given to Obama.  He is arrogant and will admit it only to the extent it benefits him. John Gibson has written about the war on Christmas…everyone has seen how retailers have gone to “holiday” rather than Christmas-even though it is their biggest season financially.  A president who uses the national day of prayer as a campaign platform to misquote the bible for his own gain?  And calling this Catholic mandate a women’s right issue?  Refusing to call militant islam what it is, e.g. Major Hassan in Texas at Fort Hood?  The war is on Christianity, not religion.  The war is on conservative values.  Why else are there Marxists around the White House? America is becoming unrecognizable.

  • http://twitter.com/Beckisnuts77 Beckisnuts

Beck has ranted on about the collapse of the world and the imminent appearance of (the Mormon) Jesus for years and i have the proof. On 12/7/2010, he stated that we will all see “the arm of god” soon – definitely in our lifetmes and he repeated that warning in May of 2011 and many times since. He has been banging the drum of armageddon steadily for years and to deny it is to deny reality.  Of course, for superstitious, gullible, easily-led people like yourself, denial of reality comes easily. Off you go now.

  • http://twitter.com/Beckisnuts77 Beckisnuts

    Yahweh and Ba’al

In the Canaan region around the time of the
beginning of the Old Testament, the prevalent religious system involved the
worship of Ba’al, (or Bel). Ba’al creeps into the narrative quite frequently.
Notably you may remember the story of Elijah challenging the prophets of Ba’al
to a rain-making match (1 Kings 18) and having beaten them he had them
slaughtered. Friendly chap!Ba’al was seen as a god of fertility and
Yahweh as a god of war. The Israelites liked to keep one foot in both camps at
least up to the (alleged) time of the exile (if it ever really happened). You
might ask what it was that was ‘wrong’ with Ba’al worship.JewishEncyclopedia.com
says “The chief evil arose from the fact that the Ba’als were more than mere
religious fantasies. They were made the symbols of the reproductive powers of
nature, and thus their worship ministered to sexual indulgences, which it at the
same time legalized and encouraged” So immediately you can see why the
priests of Israel would like to remove Ba’al from their culture. How could they
offer anything that satisfied basic human nature as well as this. You
might ask what happened to Ba’al if he was successful for all this time. Ba’al
worship was taken by the Phoenicians to
North Africa, where he was worshiped by the Carthaginian peoples. His name was
incorporated into that of the great Carthaginian general Hannibal who so
successfully made life difficult for the Romans with his war-elephants. Ba’al’s
cult came to an abrupt end with the Roman sack of Carthage in 146
    B.C. Other gods
appear throughout the Old Testament too, making it seem that this barbaric,
illiterate part of the bronze age middle-east was inundated with supernatural
    beings.Why have I
picked Ba’al out of them? Because Ba’al seems not only to have been Yahweh’s
most tenacious rival in the Old Testament, but he also plays a starring role in
the next chapter of my wanderings through the mysteries of OT times.
    The people of
neighbouring Ugarit worshipped a god called Ba’al, and their texts that predate
    the Old Testament.

That is an amazingly illogical statement. ”
Evangelical Christians would be the ones wearing bomb vests if they were born Muslims.” Using that statement, they would NEVER have been Christians and ONLY Muslims. You show ignorance when you believe both religions are the same. BTW, While I don’t know what Glenn was referring to when he mentioned the “Arm of the Lord…”, but that reference can mean many different things. And since you didn’t elucidate the context of this statement, you shorten the relevance of your argument.

Beck believes in and is a member of the Mormon religion. Read up on it here:
    http://www.av1611.org/jmelton/Mormons.html

    The Plain Truth aboutthe Mormons

The Mormon movement began with “the prophet” Joseph Smith, Jr.
in the year 1820. Joe (as he was known) was born to some rather strange parents
in 1805. His mother, Lucy, was involved in occult practices and visions, while
his father, Joseph, Sr., consumed much time with imaginary treasure digging
(including the booty of Captain Kidd).
According to Mormon writings (Pearl of Great Price, Joseph
Smith – History 1:1-25), on a day in 1820, Joe was praying in the woods when he
received a vision from God the Father and Jesus. It was revealed to Joe that the
church was in apostasy and he was the chosen one to launch a new dispensation.
Being unwilling to drop his current occupation of money-digging
with his father (while using “peep stones” and “divining rods”), Joe put his
“calling” on hold for three years. Then, according to his own account (Pearl of
Great Price, Joseph Smith – History 1:29-54), he was paid a bedside visit by the
angel Moroni in 1823. Moroni, who professed to be the glorified son of a man
named Mormon (who had been dead 1400 years), told Joe about a book of golden
plates which contained “the fulness of the everlasting Gospel.” This book was
said to have been buried at Cumorah Hill, near Palmyra, New York, some 1400
years earlier by the man named Mormon. Four years later (1827), Joe supposedly
dug up the golden plates along with a gigantic pair of spectacles which he
called “the Urim and Thummim.” The spectacles were for translating the
hieroglyphics on the plates. With the help of his only legal wife and a friend
named Oliver Cowdery, Joe translated the plates and published the Book of Mormon
in 1830. Later that same year, Joe, his wife, his brothers (Hyrum and Samuel),
and Cowdery established the “Church of Jesus Christ,” which is known today as
the “Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints.”
The Book of Mormon contains many plagiarisms of the King James
English (at least 25,000 words). This is strange since the plates were supposed
to have been in the ground many centuries before the King James Bible was
completed in 1611! The Book of Mormon also contains many errors such as claims
of elephants in the Western Hemisphere and advanced metal producing capabilities
in America before 400 A.D. (See Walter Martin’s Kingdom of the Cults for a fine
study in the errors of the Mormon Bible)
The Mormons, under Smith’s command, turned out to be a rough
bunch. Joe was a polygamist with at least twenty- seven wives (some say over 60
wives). The whole gang left New York for Ohio, and then moved to Missouri. The
Missouri governor ran them out of the state, so they settled in Nauvoo,
Illinois, and built the state’s largest city. In 1844, Joe and Hyrum were thrown
in jail. Then an angry mob stormed the jail and murdered them both. Naturally,
this “martyrdom” insured the perpetual reverence of the great “prophet” Joseph
    Smith.
The “church” then split. The Smith family headed for
Independence, Missouri and started what is now the “Recognized Church of Jesus
Christ of Later Day Saints.” However, the majority of Smith’s followers chose
Brigham Young as their new captain.
To escape U.S. laws, Young led the Mormons from Nauvoo to Salt
Lake City in 1847 (which then belonged to Mexico). For the next thirty years,
Young and his “saints” laid the foundation stones of the Mormon cult.
Little known to most Mormons, Young was a rather rough and
ruthless character. In 1857, he commanded Bishop John D. Lee to murder a wagon
train of over one hundred helpless non-Mormon immigrants. Twenty years later Lee
was convicted and executed by the U.S. Government. Young escaped punishment, and
his role in the Mountain Meadows Massacre has escaped the Mormon history books.
Young spent most of his “ministry” dodging the law to continue
the immoral practice of polygamy. At the time of his death in 1877, Young had
    seventeen wives and fifty-six children.
Today the Mormon church is administrated by its “General
Authorities.” These authorities consist of the “First Presidency,” the “Counsel
of Twelve Apostles,” the “First Quorum of the Seventy” and its presidency, the
“Presiding Bishoprick,” and the “Patriarch of the Church.”
Male Mormons over twelve years of age are divided into
priesthoods. The Aaronic order is the lesser priesthood, and the Melchizedek
    order is the higher.
The church is divided into thousands of “wards” and “stakes,”
with over 2000 branches and 180 missions, and over 5,000,000 members.
Mormons are very missionary-minded people, with over 26,000
active missionaries. However, much of this missionary army consists of young men
and women in their early twenties who must serve two years in missionary work
    while supporting themselves.
The Mormon people of today are highly respected in our society,
but there is nothing respectable about their doctrines. Some are as follows:
    The Deity of Man Promoted
Mormons teach that man can become God, and that God was once a
    man:
“God himself, the Father of us all, is a glorified, exalted
immortal resurrected man!” (Bruce McConkie, Mormon Doctrine, pp. 322-23, 517,
    643)
“…God himself was once as we are now and is an exalted man and sits
enthroned in yonder heavens…” (Journal of Discourses, V6, P3, 1844)
    “As
man is, God once was: as God is, man may become.” (Lorenzo Snow, quoted in
Milton R. Hunter, the Gospel Through the Ages, pp. 105-106)
This is plain and simple heresy. Nowhere does the Bible say or
imply that God was ever a man, or that man can become God! Malachi 3:6 says,
“For I am the LORD, I change not…” How could this be true if God was once a
man? Genesis 1:1 states that God existed “in the beginning” before man was ever
created. John 4:24 states that God is a “spirit,” and Jesus tells us in John
1:18 that no man has seen God at any time. Numbers 23:19 says that “God is not a
man that he should lie; neither the son of man that he should repent.” God has
always been God, and no one has ever “become” God.
    Deity of Jesus Christ Denied
The Deity of Jesus Christ is a fundamental doctrine of
Christianity, yet the Mormons deny this truth. Exalting man to “god status” is
apparently alright, but Jesus Christ is not acknowledged as the eternal Son of
God in the Mormon church. The Mormon Jesus was a preexisting spirit who was
exalted, just as Mormon followers hope to be exalted someday.
God is a Trinity (I Jn. 5:7), and the second Member of that
Trinity is the Lord Jesus Christ. John 1:1 says that “the Word was God,” and
John 1:14 tells us that “the Word was made flesh.” Jesus Christ is the Word
incarnate, and John 1:1 tells us that the Word was God; so Jesus Christ is God.
Jesus allowed Thomas to address Him as “My Lord and my God” in
John 20:28. In Isaiah 9:6, He is called “The mighty God” and “The everlasting
Father,” and we read in Micah 5:2 that Jesus is “from everlasting.”
Our Lord allowed people to worship him in John 10:38 and in
Matthew 14:33, and since He is “God with us” (Mat. 1:23) He also has power to
forgive sins (Mk. 2:5). Jesus Christ is clearly Deity, yet this doctrine is
    denied by the Mormons.
    Multiple Authorities
The Bible declares, “To the law and to the testimony: if they
speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.”
(Isa. 8:20) However, the Mormon Church claims that other writings, such as the
Book of Mormon and Joseph Smith’s writings are also authoritative. In fact,
Joseph Smith taught his people to doubt the accuracy of the Bible: “…it was
apparent that many important points touching the salvation of men, had been
taken from the Bible, or lost before it was compiled.” (Teachings of the Prophet
    Joseph Smith, p. 10)
    Mormon Writings Support Polygamy
“…if any man espouse a virgin, and desire to espouse another,
and the first give her consent, and if he espouse the second, and they are
virgins, and have vowed to no other man, then he is justified; he cannot commit
adultery…And if he have ten virgins given unto him by this law, he cannot
commit adultery.” (Doctrines and Covenants, 132:61, 62)
Jesus Christ held a slightly different view (Mark 10:6- 9).
There is no way a man can be “one flesh” with more than one woman. A man and his
wife are supposed to picture Christ and his church (Eph. 5:23-32), but this
symbolism is shattered by the Mormon heresy of Polygamy.
    True Church Theory
The Mormon book, The Pearl of Great Price, claims that all
other Christian groups are “corrupt” and are an “abomination” in God’s sight
(Joseph Smith, 2:19). Such claims as this are based on the unscriptural
assumption that the Lord Jesus Christ has a specific religious organization on
the earth today, complete with a name, a membership, and a leadership, which
makes up His “true church.” This doctrine is found nowhere in God’s word.
Everyone who has received Christ as their Saviour is a member of His church,
which is a spiritual body of born-again believers (Eph. 4:4; 5:23-32; Col.
    1:18-24; Heb. 12:23; Rev. 19:7; 5:9-10; 21:9).
    Other False Teachings
The Mormons deny the Trinity and the existence of a literal
burning Hell, yet they promote polytheism (many gods), baptism for the dead, and
the notion that Jesus and Satan were originally spirit brothers! Friend, make no
mistake about it–Mormonism is a dangerous cult. In the eyes of man, the Mormons
seem very respectable, but the light of God’s word reveals the true wolves
behind the sheep clothing. Jesus said, “Beware of false prophets, which come to
you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.” (Mat. 7:15)
Don’t look at their nice families, their clean-cut hair, and their friendly
“missionaries.” LOOK AT THEIR DOCTRINES! (I Tim. 4:1)
There is no way to cover all of the Mormon heresies in a tract
this size. For further reading, we recommend our publication, The Bible
Believer’s Handbook of Heresies, which sheds light on many of the heresies being
taught today in the name of our Saviour Jesus Christ.
    Salvation through Works
Mormons believe that one’s salvation is based on such good
works as baptism, good deeds, missionary work, and following Mormon teachings.
In The Articles of Faith, by James Talmage, justification by faith in Jesus
Christ is called a “pernicious doctrine” twice and he states that it has been
“an influence for evil.” (pp. 107, 480) Bruce McConkie once stated at Brigham
Young University that a personal relationship with Jesus Christ is “improper and
    perilous” (Church News, March 20, 1982, p. 5)

The Mormon movement began with “the prophet” Joseph Smith, Jr.
in the year 1820. Joe (as he was known) was born to some rather strange parents
in 1805. His mother, Lucy, was involved in occult practices and visions, while

I totally agree with you Glenn and Bill is… well, the same Bill O’Reilly. In his words, he is just being a journalist. The problem is that journalism has and must to deal with the truth and by avoiding it just because everyone needs to look ‘fair’ as opposed to be truthful; the whole point of journalism disappears.
Obama is either an idiot or a very ill intended leader, but as Glenn puts it, and this come from personal experience, as a Peruvian that live through the same type of ‘peaceful’ revolution from 1968 through 1975, and of which the country has not entirely recovered, although had to suffer through decades of hyperinflation and terrorism that cost the country over 75,000 lives. This was then a country of about 20 million people, so you can do your math if you want to extrapolate the numbers.
The point of Shinning Path, the terrorist group of which the ‘last?’ leader was just captured, was to completely destroyed the economy and the political system. Of course the system was corrupted before, but that never bothered them, except when the collectivist president that by ‘own right’ sat at the presidential palace, was removed to try to bring back the country to sense, which is when they went the route of terror.
The whole ideal is the same, collectivism with elitism at the helm. Something like what the movie ‘Independence Day’ depicted of the aliens, they come, they destroy, deplete resources and then they go after the next one. Every collectivist system has failed and if the useful fools trying to save face by bringing up the richness of the USSR and how it is a great economy today, it is because  this systems, need to cohabitate with many mafias in order to last and which is corruption at the extreme. The case of China is no different, although the mafias are the useful fools in the west that look to the other side before so many human rights abuses, starting from the so called ‘one child’ policy and they give them the tools for success, exploiting their rates of slavery impose by the regime. If China is really successful, why there are then no freedoms?
Yes, there is war against religion, all of them and they have picked to sort of present Islam as their allies because they are living, just about all of them under the same sort of political structure they anticipate for their collectivist Nirvana. They, I think are playing with fire, as we are seeing in how things are turning out to be in Egypt and the other victims of the Arab uprisings. Iran and Syria, they feel so hesitant to ‘address’ though. Why was the Arab ‘revolution’ now? Because of the same question on why the Catholic Church now, because the elites that govern Obama are all focused not on order but on chaos.
The answer is for the United States to go back BIG to Constitutional Republic and stay there and to do that the whole nation needs to go back UNDER GOD. It is the only way to work.

Much of FOX is beginning to snuck up to the left.  The panel on Brett Baier now consists of people from the New York Times and Washington Post.  I don’t care to hear their opinions.  They have the rest of television on which to expound their leftist theories.  I have watched FOX because it once was a breath of fresh air.  Soon, if it doesn’t do a turn around, they will be competing with MSNBC for viewership.  Getting too big for their britches says I.  O’Reilly is just another snucker to the left, cloaking it in the word “independent”.  NOT!

Point is evangelicals/fundamentalist Christians are just as extreme as Islamofascists.

If you don’t understand that Beck believes we are living in the biblical end times then you simply haven’t been paying attention to what he’s been saying for the past few years.

I love Bill O’Reilly but have to agree with Glenn, here.  We are losing our religious freedoms…which is definitely a sign of the end times.

It is well known that the tired wreck O Riley who saw his best days as a confrontational street reporter in N Y is now marketing himself as an international nabob, a man of great wisdom, but beck knows more, even though he has a simplistic and rather naive way of seeing the world.  Beck is not trying to be as nice and bend over for the Left as his colleague O Riley. Watching O’Riley is a total waste of time, I know, I pay for it, but seldom use it. If I do, after the first 10 minutes, I am out. O Rile is a blowhard! F O S!

I see now why Glen left FOX News. I’ve been feeling they have been sliding left
for a while. I like Bill and have watched him for years. The Best show FOX has.
But I don’t watch FOX much anymore. Still watch RedEye when I can. I don’t feel Bill’s
a sellout, I feel he has to many irons in the fire. And too many people that
rely on him. Just my option, everyone has one.

  • http://www.facebook.com/kpopnoe Kayna Popnoe

I, too, like O’Reilly but he often tries to stay neutral on subjects, which can be disappointing.  Beck is right in that religion is under attack.  Our country was founded, in part, on religion and nothing can change that.  Yet, our government and radical people want to strip out anything religious, i.e., the recent change to US Air Force’s logo, calling a “Christmas” tree a “Holiday” tree, taking down any reference to God from public display because it “offends” someone, etc.

The recent Health Care mandate that addresses issues that go against religious organizations’ principles is just the beginning of the war on religion.

There is a war on Faith.   But as far as Mr. O’Reilly why would anyone believe he would be against Obama administration, all you have to do is follow up with what groups he donates monies to and whom those groups are under.

  • http://profile.yahoo.com/VVYHS4UWELF5CJYM6DSPTGATVA Renee

Sometimes I feel sorry for O’Reilly he wants to be first and to do that he has to make everyone like him and of course agree with him.  He prides himself on being open minded but I’m afraid his mind is so open his brains have fallen out.  No war on faith? where has he been and to think this is not being done on purpose you would have to be deaf and blind.,  The war is on Christian faith and it will spread to everyone the administration doesn’t agree with if we don’t stand up and be counted.

  • http://twitter.com/a_root10 Amara Root

I am of the opinion that it’s usually better to be safe than sorry. While Glenn Beck is definitely over the top sometimes- maybe that’s what people need in order to becoem vigilent- to see what the long term consequences will be. Glenn also does his historical and scientific research and presents FACTS to back up what he says- more often than most. In any case, regarding Becks’ doomsday perspectives: I might not see these consequences in my life time, however, I intend to do my best to help leave the best possible legacy I can for my posterity and for your posterity too! History and science showes us that civilizations crumble and one large factor is  people who become slowly and increasingly complacent- like the proverbial frog in the pot. I pray that you’ll find it in your heart to join us in learning the FACTS about politics, economics, history, science and religion.  All the best to you, my friend!

I think Glenn has said it is wrong for Obama to expect the Catholic Church to have to do government mandated things regarding contraception and the morning after abortion pill, because it would constitute a violation of their closely held moral and spiritual beliefs.  I agree.  However, when Glenn showed up on O’Reilly with a Playboy smoking jacket, snifter of stuff that looked like wine, (even though he quickly identified it as diet coke) and holding a pipe in his hand or in his mouth, alternately, I felt like he kind of sold out on his being a recovering alcoholic and a member of the LDS faith.  I thought both characteristics would demand that his demeanor would be above what I saw on O’Reilly.  Come on, Glenn, be the role model that much of the nation looks to you to be.

War on faith??? How about war in faiths! As a proud American Muslim, the war going inside my faith is no secret. We blow each other in mosques, even to a point of putting them in our turbans. My Christian brothers are beating themselves silly trying to remove GOD in schools, public arenas and so forth. The Jews, well the ultra Hasidic sect do not recognize the state of Israel and what about pork eating Jews? The Hindus have their on issues whether the idols are true representation of a GOD or just a reference points to gods. The Buddhists, well ask the Chinese and they will tell you who is in charge. Dalai Lama??AAHH the atheists, yes they are the group who are at peace amongst themselves. But then again what do they believe in anyway?????Believing in a nothing, isn’t that a reason for a conflict amongst the atheists????

Beck’s end times “obsession” is not ridiculous. If you read and believe the bible you would know. All he(Glenn)wants is for people to be aware and prepared so we can help others. Why do you think God left us these prophecies? You obviously do not have God in your life. You have no relationship with Him so you simply have no clue…sad.

O’Reilly is an idiot and has been his whole life,in attempt to be fair and balanced he’s willing to overlook the obvious and spew his diatribe to back his purported fairness why anyone continues to watch the fluff he airs today is beyond me,I suspected his lack of true journalism when failed to see that obama’s direct relations with bill ayers rev wright ect… but he just couldn’t seem to draw the conclusion that obama would be bad for this country and for man who claims and has a promo tag of ” who’s looking out for you “, he sure did a pitiful job of looking for us, as a man that supposedly garners 10 million viewers it is incumbent that he should tell his viewer not to vote for a man with such radical leanings but instead he said nothing and let the ill informed viewers think that obama  as president would be okay

In my personal opinion, Mr. Oreilly simply refuses to acknowledge anything that Mr. Beck says even though the truth/facts are staring him in the face.  I believe that Mr. Oreilly is simply to arrogant to admit that it is impossible that he wasn’t the one to figure out what was goingon with
George Sorros and Micheal Moore and the other Left Wing/Socialist wack jobs.  For the same reason that we have so called conservatives Senators that think that it is okay to negotiate with those same Liberal Wackos, when the only negotiations that take place is when we as conservatives have to capitulate.  Until we realize that we have to stick to our conservative principals and not budge, we will as a country will fail to win the moral war.  Mr. Beck has been point on since I started listening to him in 2006.  He was point on about when the rioting/serious dept issues was going to start in Europe and he was point on about the OWS crowd here in the U.S.  There is no reason for Mr. Oreilly not to believe Glenn except for Mr. Oreilly’s pure arrogance and that’s the same arrogance of Mr. Krawthammer, Brit Hume and Carl Rove and why they have been pushing Mr. Romney to become the Republican Nominee for President, because Mr. Romney will be able to negotiate with the Left and not upset them.  That is excatly why we are in the fix that we are in right now.

Since the fall of Lucifer, there has been a war against God for the souls of men and women.  Satan has tried to discredit Jesus and the Jews troughout history…ie the Holocaust, but since he hasn’t been able to, he is now going after Christians and Christianity…Gen 12:3 says, God is speaking to Abraham concerning the Jews..”I will bless those who bless you and to the one who curses you, I will curse.”   Just like President Obozo…as a dog returns to its vomit, so a fool repeats his folly!

Yes, I agree that there is a war on faith and conscience within the Obama administration, as well as within a large segment of the progressive liberal society.  We all need to turn to God and put our faith there, trust in Him to guide us through this darkness invading our country and our lives. I don’t know what Santorum believes or Glenn Beck. The word of God tells us of the signs of the end times. I believe in God and I pray to him through his son the Lord Jesus Christ. My life changed after I accepted the cleansing blood of Jesus upon my soul. We can all believe what ever we want. I wish everyone trusted the Lord. When I was an unbeliever I wouldn’t have listened to anyone. The Spirit of God has to draw you. You can’t find God with head knowledge. You can’t just one day say you will become a Christian. If you ask God to show you the truth, open your heart to understanding, ask Jesus to forgive your sins and confess with your mouth what God has done for you (you can be saved). Sometimes the more knowledge we have the more difficult it is to find God. I looked every direction and became more confused. One day I said to God,” I don’t know what to believe. Take all my information and wipe the slate clean, then show me what is true.” He led me to his word. Everything I hear has to be scrutinized by the word of God. I do not follow any man or preacher. Some I like more than others. I am not a Morman I attend the Pentecostal faith (Church of God) I only follow Jesus not any man. Would love to see America turn back to God. I pray for my country and everyone that lives here.

O’Reilly knows that there is a war on Faith. This is all in his stage to enhance your point before his audience because he is fair and balanced (we get it) but I think he is wrong to back Mitt and to be asking all the right questions when Mitt is his guest and the other candidates fall short of looking good.
