Mitt Romney make another elitist faux pas

Get Glenn Live! On TheBlaze TV

Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney just keeps giving the media ammunition when it comes to his elitism. Name dropping his ‘NASCAR owner’ friends, casually slipping in the multiple Cadillacs he owns, the I-don’t-want-to-help-the-poor gaffe, were bad enough – but he’s done it again. This time he tried to tell a ‘humorous’ story – but most people won’t see the hilarity in this one. Watch Glenn, Pat, and Stu explain in the clip above.

  • http://www.artinphoenix.com/gallery/grimm snowleopard (cat folk gallery)

No matter how many gaffs, or how few anyone on the Right makes, the progressive propaganda media will slam it home for all they can gain from it. However, given the total of gaffs made by Obama and Biden, they are spared the same criticism from the press due to their being on the progressive side.

I wonder who will be left to cover the progressive medias gaffs and flubbering when the current administration decides they have outlived their usefullness?

  • landofaahs

I’m not a mitt fan but if you are successful in life, you should be ashamed of it?  The people who should be ashamed are those who envy others to the point they want to steal from others.  But I guess we should be proud democrats if we are on welfare.

  • landofaahs

Jay Leno brags about all the antique cars he owns.  But since he’s liberal, that’s O.K. huh.  Well if mitt buys new cadillacs, that at least cause employment in the auto industry.  If he’d have bought new Chevy volts, would he be praised or cursed?

  • General Kota

He still has a bigger IQ then Biden and that is not saying much.

  • jen

it is idiotic for anyone to think mitt is ‘ashamed’ of his wealth.  he is just fearful of letting out the crony ways and lobbying in which he made his money and continues to get it via tax loopholes without working in business for at least or over a decade.  that is romney is waiting for obama to expose him and he and media are keeping his secrets locked up until the gop base is fooled into romney’s sick darkness.

Glenn does not need  to  be the Gotta man for the Left .. They have about 500-600 already doing that Job  .
This kind of Crap drives many us away from Glenn Beck …
I think his backing of Santurum was stupid not to mention Santurum is a walking stupid statement man himself …. Like there no Difference between Romney and Obama .

Glenn wants to invite everyone to Texas this summer for a love fest, but his constant sniping and attacking everyone who isn’t as perfect as him shows how shallow and insincere he really is.

  • http://www.facebook.com/ReConUSMC Sam E Moore Jr

Glenn actually sounds Jealous of Romney’s wealth .
Even though both are Mormons .
While Glenn  is a cheap second rate gold hustler and 24/7 pusher himself  .
Gold just for the record is not the greatest thing since sliced bread .
The Gold Cos and the Middle men get all the real Loot .
Glenn talks about his dad all the time that was a very Poor Baker .
So poor is OK to be talked about but success isn’t ? Hardly Capitalist or Conservative .
Just for the record Mitt’s Fathers Co . American motors went out of business over very poor decisions .
Their car the Kaiser was a huge Flop . The Jeep is the only thing that kept them alive for many years until the Competition put them under with far better Jeeps and SUV’s .
I would rather hear about Mitt’s dad and Gov of Mich. than Obama MARXIST hate America Dad , Mom and Grand parents in Hawaii .

What is your problem, Glenn and company?  You are preaching “love” but  continue to spew hatred toward Mitt Romney.  He has more intregrity, intelligence, and ability than your whole crew put together!  You are hypocrits!  Come off it.  You are just making fools of yourselves and I for one have lost a lot of respect for you and your programs.  I know I am not alone!  I am beginning to wonder if all the other things you say are true, or do you just have axes to grind? We all need to chip in and buy you guys razors!

  • Anonymous

Glenn, I used to think you were the man to get the truth out there.  But lately, I have been so very disappointed.  Multiple Cadillacs?  I think he has 2, one is a 2010 and one is a 2007.  Actually, I think that might be considered middle class.  How many cars does your family have?   How rich are you?  Are you ashamed of being rich?  You completely distort the tone in which this message is given.  You have sided with the liberal media.

  • Anonymous

Glenn, are you and your staff secretly working for the re-elect Obama campaign?  After listening to this latest tirade against Romney, I’ll NEVER open another email from you again.  Call me an EX-Beck fan.  Good-bye.

  • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_5ZWMIET56HC5XWCGUKEXQ2NH5A J.O.

Yes, let’s continue to bash the hell out of the eventual nominee. That helps. Is Glenn just trying to make sure his prediction (that Obama’g going to win) comes true? This type of anti-Romney talk will just inspire many right wingers to stay home. And then, yeah, welcome to Obama Round 2… when he’ll have “more flexibility” in regards to Russia and nuclear missals. Yay.

I keep hearing how Santorum is so successful with so little money – but, what about the daily Glenn Beck show 3 hour commercial for him.  There are very few right wing talk show people in favor of Romney, but  he is still winning.  He is far from perfect, but he performed better than Santorum in the debates, has less baggage than Newt, and is more practical than Ron Paul.  Glenn needs a dose of pragmatism and remember Santorum’s record is far from perfect.  Specter’s new book makes Santorum’s endorsement even more ridiculous.

  • Anonymous

Has Glenn spoken about all of Santorum faux paxs, Glenn I used to watch you all the time when you were on Fox, except for the last few months that you were on, you started to become a preacher, I wasn’t looking to be preached to.  I am voting for Mitt Romney and I resent you bringing up every little thing that Mitt says, we need to get Obama out of office and you sure as heck aren’t helping us in this endeavor.

  • http://www.facebook.com/people/Brian-Brady/726557037 Brian Brady

Mitt Romney is an elitist because he’s rich.  Let’s face it, Mitt Romney is a very, very wealthy guy who, just like Glenn Beck, earned it.  The difference is that Mitt worked for a consulting firm, has a Harvard education, and Glenn earned it working his way up through the entertainment business.

Mitt’s going to win the nomination and he’s going to be our candidate against the Marxist.  The question is, would you prefer an “elitist” who has had private sector success or a Marxist who was actually shielded from hard work.

I”m not interested in contributing to Glenn’s “Occupy the White House, populist schtick

  • Anonymous

    I totally agree with you

  • Anonymous

It is time for Santorum to drop out of the race for the good of the party and the good of the COUNTRY.  You have a good man in Romney who loves his country and is a man of God.  What more can you ask for?  It’s is time for ALL of us to get behind him and not forget that the main objective is to defeat Obama.  Come on Glen.  I really thought you were smarter than this.

  • Anonymous

Romney spen 30 months as a missionary and worked his way through college. He donated the inhertance from his father. He worked for and earned his money and donated  millions to others. Actuall Romney is a role model for al of us.

  • Anonymous

Agree. What in the heck happened to Glenn. He no longer gets my support

  • Anonymous

I agree with Sammy….Glenn is starting to wear on me and I find he talks out of both sides of his mouth sometimes and I didn’t used to think he ever did.  If some non-Santorum supporter or opposing view person calls to challenge him, it’s pretty much pointless, typically, you get about 20 seconds to make your casem then the person gets stopped and then the Stu, Pat and Glenn start their sophomoric sarcasm downpour and the caller doesn’t get to rebut.  I’m not saying this happens all the time, but it seems to happen more than it used to.  I find it sort of rude, but hey, it’s his show, and but hey, that’s when I sometimes stop listening or do something else.   Still, I listen to the show pretty much every day for some of the time, but somehow, I don’t believe Glenn as much as I used to do.  Now I do what he’s always said, check things for myself and don’t blindly follow, cause, guess what, he’s only human, not perfect, no smarter than most of the rest of us.  One thing more that bugs me, Goldline is still a sponsor even though they really do rip people off on gold coins with 50% markups over spot price.  Check Santa Monica news and legal questions raised in the courts there.  Back to Santorum, really, this big govt creepy republican is the answer to Obama?  Only if Divine Providence does intervene could he win, cause he’ll need a miracle.  I’ve always voted Republican, but I’m sick of they’re pathetic, warmed over status quo candidates.  Aren’t we sick of choosing the lessor of two evils the establishment constantly allows us to pick from??   Stop falling for this insider, status quo crap, people!!

  • http://twitter.com/WB2L Robert Moore

I hear Romney is outspending Santorum 55:1 in the WI Media markets.  Santorum is basically shut out if that is the case.  Is this massive spending justified?  If so, Romney is a weak candidate, and if not, he is a poor businessman.  And can the Oval Office be bought for so little?  Americans, wake up.  We don’t need an elite ruling class, like the Europe of 1776, running our country.  That, exactly, is Glen’s point.  Ultimately, it is not about money, but constitutionally consistent decisions.  It is not about teleprompter perfection, but authenticity and the ability to connect with the voters, both before and after the election.  Santorum has that consistency and authenticity.  Romney (and Obama) do not.

  • CathrynFarr

Wow, Glenn, I’ve just read about 20 comments and you look to be on the wrong side of this argument.  What has happened to you?

  • http://www.facebook.com/rikijane Riki Jane Wild

The only reason I keep reading these articles is because it makes me happy to see that the other commenters feel the same way I do.  Glenn Beck fans have a love for the truth.. that’s why we gravitated to Glenn Beck in the first place.  It is up to us, now, to remind HIM of the truth, as he did for us for so many years. He always told us, “don’t take my word, look it up!”  I don’t hate Glenn… everyone is misguided sometimes… but as his fans we need to keep commenting and calling and tweeting, and let him know what he’s doing!!

I was Glenn Beck’s biggest fan for so long. I stood up for him and lost friends over it.  His passion inspired me to stand up for what I believe, and not worry about what ignorant people think of me.But now he is losing sight of the truth.  Romney’s records reflect much better decisions and motives than Santorum’s, and Glenn Beck is only reporting what he wants to report, and leaving out the facts.  He seems to be aiming to back up the guy who talks about God as much as he does.  Even though, based on actions, Romney has lived a much more noble life than Santorum. Romney is not a lobbyer or a big spender of other people’s money like Santorum.  Romney did not even accept a salary as governor of Massachusetts.

  • http://profile.yahoo.com/7UY6IN6G6O3VZV72QZ3FDQKGEI Obummer

Ha ha ha ha… so funny. And how would you POSSIBLY know how he made his money? “crony ways and lobbying in which he made his money and continues to get it via tax loopholes”

Tax loopholes my friend are 100% legal. Thats what they are there for to entice businesses and the wealthy to invest, which in the end benefits all of us.

Please get an education about finance before you puke lies.

  • http://twitter.com/WB2L Robert Moore

Many of us would disagree– Obama and Romney are eerily similar in many ways, from policy to their poor grasp on truth, from inconsistency to inability to relate to our problems.  I can easily see Romney telling us to fill our tires and rejoice in the increasing price of gas because that is just what he did in Mass.  I can see him embracing ObamaCare because it IS RomneyCare.  If Romney wins the nomination, we are given the choice of tweeldee and tweetldum , between heads I win and tails you lose, between Hillary and Obama in November.  Rick is a contrast – unscripted, consistent, self-made, a man who can relate to us all and who we can relate to.

  • http://www.facebook.com/people/Patricia-Zazzarino-Grieco/1533266627 Patricia Zazzarino Grieco

Do you really believe Santorum could win? After reading much about him,I don’t  find him very conservative, socially perhaps. However, before he was pro-life he had “no opinion”. We need to thank him for Arlene Spector andr Sonia Sotomayor .His view on illegal immigration is scary for our country. Come on you are working under cover for Obama?  You speak of Romney’s faux pas???? But, is it acceptable to “throw up” over Kennedy’s speech on separation of religion and government. Perhaps you have a short memory on the many rough things Sanatorum has said. Not mention his moaning on his not getting enough time on Fox News?? Complaining that he is out spent. Why don’t you send him some money. You, Murdock. Levin, Hannity etc. could support his super pac’s. Get real, we will have a candidate and his name is Mitt Romney. I suppose you think DeMint, Rubio, Pawlenty have sold out, and in your view you would think I did also.

Seriously?  I know a person very close to the Romney campaign.  Mitt is a sincere person, but is afflicted with rich man’s disease:  He sees us, but he doesn’t know what to do with us.  He believes we would all be rich if we’d just work harder, save our money and invest wisely.  The Republicans don’t get it.  That’s why it’s time to take the pain of another Obama presidency and let the fight spill into the streets complete with blood and fire.  There needs to be a Great Cleansing starting with our politicians.

Glenn   ~  This is a post script to an earlier post I made on this issue.  I was so darned pi**ed off at the ridiculous way you and your “staff” were acting when characterizing Mitt Romney’s so called gaffe that I wanted to just make sure you understand where I stand.  Color me “UNSUBSCRIBED” to anything and everything related to Glen Beck.  I will never read another book “written” by you; never open another email from you; never again visit your site; never again cite you or any of your studies, conclusions, opinions, etc., when discussing world issues with liberal friends.  You are, quite frankly, a disgrace to the political right in this country.  I would hope that you would use your forum for something other than to further Obama’s chances at re-election by ridiculing the presumptive Republican candidate.  I am sorry now that I attended your event in Washington, D.C.  I have just returned from throwing the books you wrote into the trash.  I only wish I could have done the same to you and your so-called staff.  What disgrace.  Worse yet, what a disappointment you have turned out to be.

  • Anonymous

Glenn … It’s obvious that you don’t like Governor Romney but to continue to degrade him makes you look bad.  Is it any wonder he doesn’t think of you as a friend and avoids you as a member of the same Church?  As a member of the same Church, it seems like you would be more compansionate not to mention the Church teaches each of us to be more compassionate about one anothers mistakes … we each make enough on an ongoing basis … that has something to do with the weekly Sacrament I think!

We need someone in the Whitehouse who knows how to seek and receive inspiration from Heavenly Father about where this country need to go and how to make that happen.  I don’t know that the other three can’t and don’t, but I feel confidant that Gov. Romney DOES, having been a Bishop and Stake President where he had to in order to be sucessful in those positions.  He is not perfect as you so joyiously point out it seems every chance you get, but I have noticed you don’t have a hedge on that market either … nor do I!  Please give it a break Glenn … he needs our support not condemnation especially about trivial stuff when this Country has HUGE things that need to be delt with.  Let him get into office where he can make the difference we all realize needs to be made!  I haven’t heard him out bad-mouthing you (perhaps he has and I just havn’t heard it)!  Perhaps you could show him the same respect assuming he hasn’t!  Unless you have been given some revelation as to whom the Lord would like in the Whitehouse this next term (and I think He cares), perhaps Gov. Romney is the man.  It would be sad to find out that is the case and you were on the wrong team.  Perhaps I am wrong, we’ll see.  Perhaps he doesn’t relate to the “little people” as well as others might, but this country needs someone that can deal with the BIG issues that effect ALL Americans in a BIG way and his trivial faux pas don’t amount to a hill of beans by comparison.

Glenn, may you be blessed to do the right thing.  I am looking forward to Gen. Conference and what Pres. Monson and others have to say, I am sure you are too.

    A Brother in the Gospel,

    George B. Oates

Well, I agree – he isn’t helping our side once this goon Romney doesn’t earn the nomination.  But, ya gotta admit… I was laughing… lighten up people. There is truth to it – I never did like Romney because… he is only one stop this side of being just like O.

  • http://www.facebook.com/sskeiser Sara Stout Keiser

What do you think Obama is going to do, spend nothing?  Mitt prepared for this election and he doesn’t need a job!  Like the other candidates.  He has raised this money from people from all walks of life.  You will be pleasantly surprised when he is President, unless the far far right helps Obama win!

  • http://goo.gl/DvRNm Right Fielder

He may make foepahs of all types, but the guy is going to be the nominee. Grab your ankles and deal with it, folks. No way around it. A Mormon is going to be fighting Jeremiah Wright’s favorite UCoC son. It will be like Apollo Creed and Rocky, no wait… Apollo Creed and Rock Hudson. It is just a matter of a few more delegates. Do do the math.

I have been a HUGE Glenn Beck fan, but severely attacking and ridiculing our strongest GOP candidate is a despicable thing to do. As you repeatedly reminded us, there is so much at stake in this election. We are in danger of losing the very thing we hold most sacred – our liberties and freedoms!  This is not funny to me.  Why do you insist on fueling the Obama engine? Mitt Romney is a good man who is determined to restore America’s greatness. He deserves better than this. Why don’t you try getting behind him and giving him the endorsement he deserves?! You personally are making it more difficult for him to do the very thing you have been preaching. You need to get off the Santorum train! Yeah, okay…let’s all rally behind the LOSER instead of someone with a track record of SUCCESS! Have you really examined Santorum’s voting record? Do you want a President who swears at the Press because he can’t take the heat, but insists on “taking one for the team”?!  REALLY?  Wake up Glenn!  Sorry to be the one to break it to you, but …Santorum is NO George Washington!

I do not come from a wealthy family. I do not have a Harvard education. I do not own 2 Cadillacs. But I wholeheartedly support anyone that has made it in this life without being on the government dole! I own a small business and have been taken advantage of by excessive and oppressive taxation. I want leaders in government who understand that the money government takes in DOES NOT BELONG TO THEM and who understand that “we the people” are much better stewards over our resources than any government or governmental entity!  Mitt Romney is not perfect. He has made many mistakes in his campaign just like the others but I believe he is the only one who understands first-hand how to cut spending, reduce taxes, improve the economy and let us keep more of our hard-earned money. I was a Rick Perry fan in the beginning, but I am rapidly becoming a Romney supporter. The time will soon come when we must all unite behind the Republican nominee and defeat the socialist in the White House!

Glenn, while we’re all trying to get behind Romney to defeat Obama, whom you say must be defeated or America will never be the same, you’re acting like an elitist yourself.

Fine, Romney isn’t your “perfect candidate”, but he is our best shot to beat Obama.  Get on board or just shut up, because we have enough nit-picking coming from the left.

Run for office yourself and let’s see how many things not only the left can attack you with, but what we can find you at fault with too.

Grow up you three, you sound like a group of smug “popular girls” in middle school, who think they have no faults of their own.

Romney’s “gaffe” is much ado about nothing, really.  Just fodder for the talking heads.  They spend time talking about irrelevant crap like this instead of important issues.  I think we should ignore this crap and talk about something important.  For instance, Romney gets rapped for his support of the individual mandate for health care, but gets no credit for engineering tort reform in to his Massachusetts health care bill.  Another idea would be for all of us to self-insure.  Get a group of 10 people, each take out a $500,000 term LIFE insurance policy that would pay in to the group upon death, and establish a line of credit at a bank secured by homes (hey, if you don’t do it your doctor will own your home anyway eventually) establish a monthly premium for each member and pay cash for discounted services from doctors. Each member would have to fund a Medical Savings Account initially and the insurance pool would only be tapped for catastrophic events.   We need to take care of ourselves.  The government is not capable of doing it.

What is disgraceful is the total, ridiculous mockery exhibited by Glenn, Stu, and Pat towards Mitt Romney.  Who are you trying to promote–Obama?  This does not help Romney, nor does it help our cause.  This is just plain destructive–you may think you are being funny, but it is disgusting.  Romney is a wonderful, intelligent, competent, man and just perhaps, his humor is much more appreciated by many of us than your guffaws and “hilarity.”  Stop your endless criticism and try to either support him or keep quiet.

Thank you George. We feel the same way as you do. We are very disappointed in Glenn and his constant making fun of things and people that are good. (Yes, Glenn, many of us actually DO know what to do with wheat.) We have had to bite our tounges and be patient thinking that things would improve on the show, but they have only gotten worse. We have now unsubscribed as watchers of GBTV. They have some good things, but they also have us wondering about many others at this point. We owe our best to our great country and Mitt is one that can help us get to where we need to be again. Santorum will not. Paul will not. Newt will not. We need to back the one man who will be able to get us where we need and want to be. God bless our great United States of America!

Glenn:   I am a huge fan but I wish you and Stu particularly would quit with the childish, ridiculous, personal attacks and sarcasm that you exhibit so often on your radio show.   It is immature and makes your otherwise intelligent, mature commentary lose much credibility.   PLEASE stop with the silly, destructive sarcasm and start your own version of “restoring love” in the way you talk about the issues of the day.   Stick to issues and avoid immature, sarcastic, personal attacks, not just on the man you will likely be voting for, but even the people you don’t like.    PLEASE!

Glen, I liked you better on FOX.  You seem different now.  Why should Romney worry about the liberal media chastising him when he has you and your cohorts doing plenty of damage.  I’ll bet he told that story about his father moving a factory to Wisconsin WHILE HE WAS IN WISCONSIN!  It probably seemed funny there and was well received by the badger crowd.  If we are looking for a smooth talker that just makes us feel good and deludes us about the reality of our nation’s problems, we already have that.  This time we need to choose a leader that has real abilities  –  not an entertainer and NOT a politician.  Isn’t it time we all grew up and became adults.  Acting like children for generations has landed us in this mess.  It is going to take adult thinking and adult sacrificing to choose the next president and to help turn our country around.  It’s time for another “Greatest Generation”.

I don’t know if Glenn and Stu ever read this stuff, but I hope they read the comments today.   So many of us loyal fans are turned off with the immaturity of your sarcasm, not just directed at a decent man like Romney, but even when you do it to someone like Barney Frank.   There is a way to address the issues without all the lowball, personal attacks.

There was a time when Glenn Beck was #1 on my respect list, but that can no longer be! It has been clear for some time that Romney will be the Republican Candidate to oppose Obama, so I have been confused as to the why Glenn’s criticisms continue. I have now passed being confused to the point of feeling disgusted!

Time to wake up Glenn, knock your nonsense off, get with the program, and understand, for the future of the USA, it must be “ANYBODY BUT OBAMA!” It is clear enough now that “anybody” is ROMNEY.

Glenn I don’t think the MMS will have anything to say.  You and your posse are doing all the work for them.  The left just gets to sit back and smile.  You are hurting our chances in November and have gone way over the top with this kind of thing.  You sound like a bunch of Jr High kids who are jealous of the popular kid.  Stop already!  I am both embarrassed and ashamed for you.  We have been followers and supporters of you for years.  Attended your events, bought your books.  Definitely disenchanted and disgusted at this point.  This will be your last e-mail in my inbox.  Good luck to you and God bless.

The real reason why Romney and Obama are alike doesn’t give me any reason to vote for him.  It is not like I don’t like Romney but his Romney-Obama plan for Michigan gave the Obama a sure fire way towards making us a Socialization country who is trying to become the poorest of the poor.  Maybe that is why the Republicans are Looking for another person to Represent them?  Like Gingrich for example???

All he is doing is pandering to his Santorum fan base. Dont worry, he really does like Romney. After all, he cried and ate cake just four years ago when Romney lost.

  • http://www.facebook.com/people/Mack-Shopte/100002663745501 Mack Shopte

He is just pandering to his Santorum audience. They pay the bills, so he gives them what they want to hear. I think he really does like Romney. Just look at four years ago.

  • Huss Family

I agree – I have been an avid fan and supporter of Glenn and really don’t think I want to listen to more of this Romney mockery – he was not my first choice either but Glenn is doing nothing but helping Obama with this.  What are you thinking, Glenn???  I have a harder and harder time listening.

It just crap.. wh cares how much money he has, I am poor and Gd has me right where he wants me… and I believe he has all of us where he wants us. Whether its for us to learn something or what. I am happy in my place. Those who think differently are just as bad as the OWS… Its not my place to judge a man by his money. Romney and Obama are not alike at all. where in the heck are people like you getting this lie – from Santorum?  What Obama/Romney plan are you talking about? the one where Santourm worked with the Dems to make sure that Santorum won and Romney lost?Santorum even worked and  called the UAW. Santorum  is low life. Now you find Newt acceptable – Newt the womanizer. You ahve to be kidding? His egot is bigger than his brain. No one is voting for Newt or Santorum.

I highly suggest you do some real research and get the real facts and info

Sorry Glenn but you’ve lost me also – bought your books – listened to you on radio – watched you whenever I could on Fox 5 to 6 – then for some reason you decided Rick was a much better choice than Romney to the point of obnoxiousness – cannot comprehend – Romney was the governor or a state, a successful businessman and saved the Salt Lake Olympics from being a financial disaster – Santorum was in congress and did what ?? My parish priest talks like Santorum but he is not qualified to be President either – we need to support Romney and rid ourselves of this socialist

  • Anonymous

I agree with you. about Glen. All this talk about Romney gaffs is just stupid talk by the media. Do we really have to hear it from Glen too. We could do with a little less pettiness in media reporting. Romney’s comment about the poor was only a mistake if taken out of context. Does Glen really have to play along with that kind of nonsense.

  • Anonymous

Ridk Santorum thinks he can win with the sympathy vote because he does not have a lot of money. If people really liked him they would send him money. Most of his campaign money comes from one man. The truth is Rick is not a leader or a fiscal conservative. He plays along to get along. Without the Evangelical vote he would have dropped out already. Even with it he has very few people voting for him for the simple reason thet they know he is not the right candidate to lead the country. They would rather vote for Newt who has no chance than Santorum.

Mockery is what we get from the left. Now Glen is using it as a tactic for lack of a valid argument. When is the news media going to get it that a lot of people are tired and turned off by that. We are looking for sincerity and do not trust people who mock and degrade to make a point that they could not make otherwise..

So glad to come to Glenn Blog and find I am not alone.  Glenn you and your guys are so in the bag now for Santorum that you are joining such fair minded folks as Benjy Sarlin at the Talking Points Memo who I doubt even listened to the story. In 1967 when George Romney announced for President he did so from the Capitol in Michigan and the little band that played was organized by me from guys that went to West Junior High School in Lansing Michigan. We of course were not so savvy to have remembered the pain of the layoffs but the fact that American Motors surveyed. In retrospect without a government hand out. You got it, our school fight song was On West Junior, played to In Wisconsin. Leave it to some politicos to read more into it than just a bunch of kids proud of their Governor. A Governor who was the first and ONLY republican to dare to talk the truth about the Vietnam War. Glenn, the story is funny in Wisconsin. His dad was running for President. If you  can’t tell, Georges son is my man for 2012. I was one of your first subscriber’s to GBTV. I cancelled three weeks ago. I echo the sentiment that you are SOOO critical of Romney. Give it a second thought eh??

  • http://goo.gl/DvRNm Right Fielder

What I find somewhat sickening is when I was really on-board for Santorum –in those very crucial early days and first wins– Glenn became very critical of Santorum.  I have valued Glenn’s opinion, and even though I felt Santorum might be a better choice I backed off. Gave it more thought.

By the time I was through thinking, Romney had all but put the nomination in the bag. Now, mathematically speaking, there is just no real hope for Santorum. So, I see Glenn playing a major role in hurting his chosen candidate’s chances. That is, his current choice. Maybe he’ll see the light soon and realize he’s running a lame horse.  Wild how some stuff comes back to bite you square in the arse.

You blew this one, Glenn.  Major blow, too.

Sorry folks but if Romney is the best we can do then we’re all screwed. The man is completely out of touch with mainstreet, he has ZERO communication skills; his mouth moves and very little substance ever comes out. Obummer will have him stuttering in a debate. The man has had more than 8 yrs. to get people to know and like him and he’s gotten nowhere. would he be better than hussein? your damn right he would, but i don’t think Romney will win. Huh, my friends husband has wads of money that he earned himself. He can do things that I can just dream about. Can I relate to him – yes. WE have some of the best conservations of anyone I know. My friend loves to hear the two of us bantering about. He is a Dem and I am a Republican. I love to hear about their travels and the places they have been. It is called friendship and yes we can relate to each other and each others friends. Being financially in different worlds is really a nonissue. Being friends in the real world is awesome

If Romney’s a snob, at least it’s with his own money and not tax dollars.  Even though he was born into wealth, he has successfully worked and turned around multiple financial disasters and made them profitable.  For four years, I’m willing to give the guy a chance.  If there’s even a possibility that he’ll take us down a different road, at least we give ourselves that chance.  We know what direction Obama’s going to go if he’s re-elected; and so does Vladimir Putin.

  • Anonymous

Romney has more delegates than the other three combined. You do not speak for mainstream. Romney is winning despite the left wing media and Glen knocking him. Romney has never been the choice of the right wing media either. That is a big hurdle to overcome and he is fighting with the determination of a person we need to run the country.

  • http://goo.gl/DvRNm Right Fielder

The Holocaust happened 50 years ago. It is time to put that one to rest. 85% of Jews vote for the Democrat Socialist Party as they did in Germany. I do not see the point of bringing that up in support of the overwhelming support of the party who is trying to make the same thing happen here. After all what is fascism-private ownership with government in control making up all the rules and regulations of this so-called private ownership.

Glenn’s wrong on this one. It IS a funny story–and open and honest. Hello? Like anyone doesn’t know that Romney is rich, and comes from a successful family? So why should he pretend otherwise, or try to hide it? If he did, THAT’S what would come off as patronizing and condescending. I respect Mitt for being who he is, and being open about it.

Dude. People don’t get elected merely because some people want them to get elected. Takes quite a bit more paste than some flimsy wishing, hoping, and supporting.      I would like to add that the 85% Jews who vote for the leftest take over of this country should “be careful of what you ask for because you may get it”. Your lack of concern for a Marxist movement in this country affects us all. If you are so concerned about the Holocaust you should do a little studying of what Marxism is as a pathway to fascism and other forms of government control. Fascism is the best form of government control because it gives the illusion of private ownership while government has all the power. The flaw in communism is that when people realize the only way they can get ahead is by working for government individual incentive in the private sector no longer exists.

ber of posters from the past, are no longer posting.   Can’t say I blame them.

If Romney becomes the GOP candidate, will they continue to harpoon him?  If so, nice.

Are they secretly hoping for a win for B.O. which will give them continued ammunition?

Do they think they will be able to continue with what they are doing if B.O. has another

    four years?

  • Anonymous

You know, ”thinker”, IF Romney is the candidate who will be facing B.O. this

fall, could he borrow what the other ”elites” did when they were running?  The

two who come readily to mind are FDR and JFK.   Of course, there was no TV

during the FDR days and JFK was a man of charm.  However, if Romney could

be coached in either of their ”styles”, it might help him.  I don’t think he’s a bad

fella, but rather one who has not lived the lifestyle of the ”average” American.

He needs help in connecting with the folks.   He can certainly hire someone to

give him the needed ”lessons.”  He had better learn them well so he doesn’t

I agree jandowae. Santorum would make a good priest but people generally realize he would not make a good president. He was not a good Senator. He was a follower who played along to get along. That is the type of people we are trying to get rid of. If Santorum was the conservative chose people would not be voting for Newt anymore because he has no chase. All Glen and Santorum can hope for is a brokered convention or an Obama victory to stop Romney. We know Santorum and Newt both are pushing for that. Glen needs to look a little deeper into himself to see if that is what he really wants for this country.

You guys are soooo disgusting!!!  Mitt Romney has more compassion, intelligence and values than all three of you combined–  He would never make fun of others, but has always been of service to those around him, whether family, friends, or strangers.  He is a gentleman who would never embarrass the United States by having a temper tantrum, swearing, whining or making excuses.  We don’t need a slick “Campaigner in Chief” leading our country, but a man who wants to restore our economy, our past greatness and our standing in the world–and has the experience and ability to do just that!  Mocking and making fun of others is not his style–but is certainly your pathetic mode of operation!  Our family were once Beck fans, but you have lost us by your loose tongue and condescending caricatures.

I have already cancelled my GBTV membership as have most of my friends and family. I just finished watching your show today and everytime I look at you I wonder who is on the screen.  Watched you from the first day you started with Fox and now with your GBTV.  One of the changes you have made is reflected in your appearance.  You use to be clean cut and professional and now your look unclean and unprofessional.  Your attitude use to be uplifting and now it is depressing. Your spiirt use to be vibrant but now is troubled.  You use to very accurate in your information and now it is a mixture of truth and untruths even though you proclaim it to be the truth.  You use to be humble and now your ego is the larger than your new surroundings.  You use to build up America and now you are slowly tearing this great country of ours down. You feel you are always correct but rarely do you admit you are wrong.  Your research use to be one of the best and interresting but now is questionable and at times not factual.  A good example of this is Mitt Romney.  You said tonight that the MA healthcare program was the pattern for Obamacare.  This is not the fact.  Obama has converted your thinking to his in this respect.  You are slowly drinking the liberal healthcare line about Mr. Romney.  It is time for you to get in line with Silent America. Even though you back Sanatorum which is your right to do so, your research should show that Romney is the only one that can defeat Obama and the socialist and communist lifestyle that he wants to bring to America.  You state someetimes that Obama is new in  his job doesn’t know what he is doing.  The fact is he knows exactly what he is doing……he wants to destroy the America we all love.  You have a responsibilty to America to get off the Santorum train and get on the Romney train and help get this great man elected because if you don’t the America you say  you love will no longer be America. In closing get a shave, wash your face, dress like you use to when you were on Fox and get your Texas Size  ego you have out of the way and help us bring back the America we all love back because right now you are not.

I really like Glen Beck, but I do not agree with him on his choice of Santorum. I do not think that Santorum is a “walking stupid statement”, and I actually agree with him on many issues. However, Governor Romney is more mature and I feel that he is a man of integrity. He has a strong faith, the same faith that Glen and I also share. He is a man who will return this great nation to the place it was before 2008.

At least McCain had some issues on which he had always consistently been conservative. Romney has NONE.

Chances are likely that we are soon to see 4 more years of increasing collectivist totalitarianism in America. If Romney wins we’ll become more distinctly a corporate fascist nation and if Obama wins we’ll become more distinctly socialist/communist. Either way, population control will become an increasing priority.

To my fellow voters making this possible: The hypnotized never lie… do yah?

When Glenn says we’re in for a nightmare if Romney gets elected, what does he think we’re in for if Obama gets in again???

  • Anonymous

Ditto – except I don’t care for Romney either. The only acceptable candidates, for me, are Gingrich and Paul (wish I could combine them into one person).

  • Anonymous

Romney is same ole, same ole. Pander to the moderate conservative and the independant voter. Turn off the conservative voter. Our country  moves more left and we get candidates like this. Yes, I will hold my nose and vote for Romney. I would vote for a hamster over Obama. But isnt it sad that we have to do that. Oh how I long for a true candidate like Allen West to run in the future.

The king of cronyism belongs to obama. Need proof? All the companies that donated to his campaign who got waivers from obama-care. All the “Green” energy failures who contributed to his campaign. How about banks who got bailed out including the investment arm of GE who donated to his campaign and stands to profit bigtime from all the taxpayer subsidized boondoggled enrgy scams. Deny that and you deny reality and are suffering from mental delusions. Accept the facts and admit them and you stand a chance of being delivered to the conservative truth of life.

I agree but not for the same reason.   Obama can’t relate to any of us because we are American;   a country he has no love for!.

In viewing some of the comments by the so-called Glenn Beck supporters, may I please remind you he is not perfect. I must come to his defense for obvious reasons:
1-he was one of the first to open up the dialogue about BHO. He opened our eyes to who he is
2-if we knew what he knows, could any of us sleep at night?
3-his life and the lives of his family is in constant threat….could any of us live that way?
4-the man is a workaholic-his mind never sleeps.

He does all of this so we can be informed; Thank you Mr. Beck.

I am certain there are other things I have forgotten; when you have the passion he shares with us, it’s as if we are family. So, having said all that, I think if in this adult world that we live in, Glenn lets off steam by acting childish once in a while…I for one will be forgiving.
    Who among us is perfect?

  • jen

Glad someone has their head on straight.  Beck is nothing of the ‘love’ he says.

He does speak out of both sides of his mouth everyday.  He leaves out a lot of information.  He is a Romney surrogate and progresive pretending to be a conservative for whatever his religion is.  Santorum is a distant second choice, only bec Santorum has been trained in dangerous radical beliefs to use vicious interpretatins of the bible to control policy and people – otherwise known as ‘christian sharia law’.

  • jen

Like Romney, Glen’s way to divide america further in line with Obama’s goals is to mock.  And many of his followers believe that is called ‘restoring love’.

  • jen

The point is that all this information is way too late.  The race is essentialy over with the last repub debate in February where it was announced that there would be no more gop debates.

So, just when it is too late to reverse romney’s nomination, Beck tries to act suddenly like his anti-elitist.  Prior to this, beck has never criticized romney, but only pounched on romney’s rivals from trump to perry to newt to paul.

  • jen

Chill – Beck has always been in Romney’s corner and never in the corner of santorum or any other conservative.   Beck hates conservatives just as much as romney does.  They are in bed together.

Beck does not hype up santorum for a  presidential nomination win.  Beck only likes santorum for his radical views to merge policy and politics.

  • Anonymous

Sorry you have to revert to childish name calling.  Almost every middle class family in America has 2 or 3 cars.  I never said Romney was in the middle class but having 2 or 3 cars is.

  • Anonymous

I agree Glenn is “over the top” here. I think I want to see a brokered convention. If I understand the process after Romney fails to get the 1144 electoral votes the delegates are free to vote as they choose. If their preference distribution follows that of the country at least 2/3 will not support Romney. I hope they pick anyone but Paul. West, Perry, Bauchman, Newt, Santorum, Rubio, Christie, Trump, Ryan, ……. think outside the box here delegates!

I believe the 2012 election will come down just like the 2008 election where “anyone but Bush” will become “anyone but Obama”. If that message is planted by republicans as well as it was planted by the Democrats in 08 we win. If not we lose.

All of this mess comes down to one undeniable fact; America is becoming more and more polarized. Problem is, now there are three distinct poles. One of the poles is purely Obama (liberal, progressive, etc), one is conservative (Romney, Santorum, Gingrich, etc) and the third pole is Ron Paul conservative.  Ron Paul Conservatives are the key to this election.  They are the ultimate swing voters.  In fact, if you could get everyone between the ages of 18 and 26 to turn out and vote, Ron Paul would win. We all know that isn’t going to happen. That’s a fact, too.

    So, what does this mean? It means we look to Ron Paul. {laughter dies, whoopee} Despite his floundering numbers –even his ardent supporters realize he can’t win– there is still a base there, and it will be energized when Ron Paul takes the stage. And he will take the stage, even if Mitt “Elitist” Romney hits the magic number. {And hey, lay-off the Elitists, most of our Founding Fathers were Elitists.}

Had America really wanted to make substantial changes in this country, they would have thrown their support behind Ron Paul. However, most voters don’t have the zest for true conservatism. They talk it up, but they can’t do the walk. Too bad Ron Paul didn’t realize that reality; I know his son does. I’ve seen Rand wince too many times while Pop is on a roll.

Just watch. We’re in for a real ride to the wire.

Thank you for stating what I have been seeing and feeling for a while now.  I don’t understand why Glenn has given up on “good taste”.  Let’s hope he finds “HOPE” soon because no matter how ugly or bad things get we must not loose our determination to make a difference in the “right way” and you don’t do that by tearing everything down.

Sam, not everyone is a sheeple and allows the GOP to tell them whom they should vote for. Some of us actually have BRAINS and are able to see Romney for what he really is… another BUSH at best. If you want to support your RINO- feel free…but if he wins the nomination and then goes on to LOSE to Obama, you will share in the blame. So, you support your GOP PUPPET- but don’t go around attempting to BULLY others into supporting him. The media and the establishment are already bullying us; we certainly are not going to pay YOU any mind! #WeThePeople don’t like Romney. We do not TRUST Romney and we do not TRUST the media telling us whom we should support. That is why Rick is leading in three states and tied with Romney in the other upcoming states. (DESPITE being outspent 20-50:1)  It looks like the only “stupid” people are the ones who bought into Romney’s electability factor by the same establishment that gave us Bob Dole and John McCain! This article tells everyone what they are ignoring- ROMNEY CANT WIN!
“The former Massachusetts governor’s favorable ratings among potential voters are the worst of any likely presidential nominee in the past 36 years, the Beast reported Monday, citing a breakdown of at least 20 polls showing an extreme lack of enthusiasm for the Romney campaign.

“Since 1976, no serious contender, Democrat or Republican, has watched his favorable ratings fall as low as Romney’s have in recent months. Or watched his unfavorable ratings climb as high. Or watched his overall numbers stay underwater — that is, more unfavorable than favorable — for so long,” the Beast reported.“Unfortunately, this is terrible news for Mitt, because he currently boasts the worst primary-season favorable-unfavorable split of any major-party nominee of the last 36 years [at least],”

LMBO You are figuring Santorum’s success is solely based on Glenn Beck? A Romney supporter complaining Santorum has 1 person in the media promoting him? I’m actually laughing. Aside from Beck,Levin, and on occasion Limbaugh, Santorum isn’t getting much support from anyone in the media. So, you should rethink your conclusion! Romney has it all and he still cannot slice the cake. He has a 24/7 campaign on Fox News. They drool over the guy… which is why Fox ratings are down 17% -Conservatives have effectively boycotted Fox news. We are SICK and tired of the establishment and the elites telling us who we should support. It is 2008 all over again. They promoted JOHN McCain as if he was Jesus. Not even Tea Party Darling Sarah Palin could help the mushy moderate. Has it occurred to you that Glenn Beck is a Mormon and instead of backing his fellow LDS brother, he is backing Santorum. Now that honestly takes guts and commitment to principle. Now, ask yourself a question. What does Beck know that we DONT know? Don’t you find it odd that Mormons typically stick together and have overwhelmingly supported for Mitt, but here Beck, a devoted Mormon, isn’t supporting him. Could it be that Romney is a pandering fool? One example, of one of his many panderisms, he went down to Puerto Rico and told the people he didn’t support English as the Official language of America. The problem is, in Jan he along with the other Gop candidates STRONGLY supported it. He lied for 20 delegates and you trust him to lead our country? In fact, Santorum was the ONLY one who stood by his principles and risked the delegates by telling the Truth. Guess what happened? Fox News trashed him for standing up and telling the truth and they praised puppet Romney. Did they mention the JAN 2012 debate? Not at all… but in case you’d like to see for yourself: http://youtu.be/b_bF81D5WHM    If that were Romney’s only ‘crime’ I could look past it, but it is a small ink blot compared to everything he has said or done.

  • http://www.facebook.com/amanda.citizen Amanda Citizen

Romney is a JOKE! Michael Farris made a point with his status update on FB:
Are they winning Red States or Blue States?Romney has won 13 states. Of these, 8 were carried by Obama and 5 were carried by McCain. Of the 5 GOP states he won, 3 are on the border of Utah. Santorum has won 10 states. Of these, 7 were carried by McCain and 3 were carried by Obama. In general, Romney has strength in areas where the Dem’s will be even stronger in November–Illinois, Mass, Maine, New Hampshire etc. will all be Obama’s in November. We are on the verge of nominating a Republican candidate who has minimal strength in areas where Republicans can and must do well.

It’s not about birth control as much as it is about Religious Freedom. Santorum has a right to his belief’s about contraception. He never said he’d force them on anyone else. What he WILL do is protect our rights. ABORTION is NOT contraception and murder is never a right in God’s eyes.

You shouldn’t let the left get away with editing out the rest of Romney’s line after he said he didn’t care about the poor because he would fill in the holes in the poor’s safety net.  This left created gaffe needs to be exposed, not perpetuated.  Romney’s caring about the poor by filling in the holes in the safety net is a a far cry from Santorum’s promoting cutting unemployment insurance out after 60 weeks instead of 99 weeks.  The justification for this is based on Obama’s faked unemployment numbers coming down to 8.3 percent instead of 8.9 % if they had been figured the same way as before.  So now, my unemployed husband is screwed unless Romney gets in and puts in E-verify so he can compete instead of having 1.8 million % illegal engineers.  Romney care more about the poor than the Democrats who want death panels, faked job creation ,necessary skyrocketing of electricity, no Keystone pipeline, red tape instead  of real jobs, etc.

I like Beck, generally, but now he sounds sort of like an ass.  How many people have the millions of dollars that Beck has?  Seriously Glenn, do you understand how big of a condescending ass you are sounding like right now?  You know Glenn, you sound like one of the nutty OWS people bashing wealth.  And what kind of damned hypocrite are you Glenn?  You need a mental adjustment little man.  What you are saying is NOT HUMOROUS.  What you are doing is sick.  I have never been so disgusted in my life than I just was by hearing you two asses making even bigger asses out of yourself.

  • Anonymous

Amanda, I think you’re the joke.  Your analytical skills are pretty weak at best.  The bottom line is that Romney has twice as many delegates as does Santorum, the next closest.  With the recent endorsements Romney has received the new delegate count will continue to climb higher even faster.  Romney has strength pretty much in the entire USA, and he even did pretty damn good in the evangelical states, and we all know how hard it is to overcome religious bigotry, which I suspect you have a good deal of yourself.

The goal now is to beat Obama.  So your mindless bashing of Romney serves no purpose other than to demonstrate that you are full of sour grapes, irrational hate and a tendency to shoot yourself in your own foot.

  • Anonymous

Which media would that be?  Fox, Beck and Rush have chosen Santorum.  And I think they are retarded and out of the gords for doing it.  But hey, that’s there choice.  Studies show that the MSM attack Romney the most.  So again, not that I don’t trust your great intellectual prowess and deep research and all, but where is the EVIDENCE?

  • Anonymous

It sure seems that way.  But most of it can be explained by two poles, namely good and evil.  Liberals are mostly on the evil side and conservatives are mostly on the good side.  The worst Romney haters on “our” side are religious bigots.  So what can you do?  The old south hated Catholics and the new south (and the old south too) hate Mormons.

As to Ron Paul, sorry, I refuse to support a nut that acts like Neville Chamberlain.  We do not need to repeat our mistakes of history again.

Brokered conventions were deemed by most thinkers as a retarded path to follow.  They tend to introduce randomness and chaos and they tend to play into the hands of losers that could not win during more regular elections.

Well, we should never have a cult worship for any person, and that includes Beck.  I like Beck generally but I was ashamed and surprised at how big of an utter ass he and his dimwitted friend was on this childish and asinine sad display they just put on.

Beck has backed the wrong guy (Santorum) all along and I think that shows that he is not quite as smart as he thinks he is.  Maybe he deluded his mind into thinking he can’t back the Mormon since he is a Mormon.

In any case, Beck really disappointed me this time.  More than I ever expected to be in him.

And his idiot rationale was that liberals will act like asses later so Beck and his partner might as well act like asses now.  Seriously Beck, you are a shame to truth on this matter.

  • Anonymous

I agree.  I thought I was in bizarro land.  Beck and his buddy were pure asses in this routine.  I expect Beck to reveal truth instead of revealing that they too can act just like brain dead liberals when they put their minds to it.

I also fail to see them having even a remote bit of logic.  Romney cannot rewrite his history.  Romney has great respect for his dad.  And yet Beck was ruthless and just as dull-witted as he could ever be at not seeing the loving side that a son has for his father.

And we are supposed to pretend that his father is now evil because he had to make tough business decisions?

Seriously Beck, you just lost a lot of fans by acting like a liberal.  For now when I see you I just see ass written all over your face.  Clean up your act.  Apologize for your gaffe and your gross error and repent.

Yes Glenn, on this issue you need to repent.

They are testing channeling Michael Moore for some bizarre reason.  I may give up on Beck for life unless that crazy ass apologizes to the good folk.  I seriously am seeing a mental breakdown in Beck and it is not a pretty site.  I like Beck, but he needs to seek help.  He is losing it.  I suspected a mental breakdown when he backed that obvious fake Santorum.  Not because of who he backed but how he backed him and how oblivious he was to Santorum’s record and hefty negative baggage.

  • Anonymous

I don’t know about that.  You seem like an incredibly huge ass.  And we just witnessed Beck making a huge ass out of himself.  So I really doubt your truthfulness.

Regarding Chamberlain’s mistakes… yes, he made them, and we both should agree that was a very different time. Not that there is zilch to learn there. But I can’t call a man a nut, when it’s obvious he is a very accomplished man; even if we just focus on his time as a physician. He may be wrong about the way he would handle foreign policy
–and in many ways I believe he is off-base, too– that was my point mentioning the anecdote about Rand. But he is not a nut. That buys into the main stream media’s mindset, and I will not side with that group. It’s too typical, kh.

Ron Paul’s supporters are the golden key to this election.

One of Rick Santorum’s most annoying habits, is lying constantly about how overspent he is by Romney.  It is true that Romney is outspending him, but on a scales of 3 or 4 to one, depending on the state, not the 20 or 55 that Rick Santorum keeps touting. And Romney and Santorum spent almost the same amount in most of the southern states.  I think that Santorum comes off as classless and inconsistent in most of his recent speeches.  Whining that it would be better to stick with Obama than Romney and then, when his own words were reported on, instead of manning up and trying to explain his stupid words, he whined that this was a Romney ploy to make him look bad.  Please!!! Do we really want a whiny baby for president?  I pray that the two cry babies, Newt and Santorum will lose.  At least Mitt hasn’t ever whined and cried, even when he lost the last election.  He has always come across  as presidential.

  • http://www.facebook.com/yvonnemaj Yvonne Atwater Johnson

Santorum is the opposite of a fiscal conservative.  He has voted for just about every big spending bill that he could when in the Senate, and voted against right to work.  He was obviously owned by big labor as a Senator and probably thinks it is a good joke that so many ‘conservatives’ are throwing their support his way.

  • http://www.facebook.com/yvonnemaj Yvonne Atwater Johnson

I think that a brokered convention would just about guarantee Obama’s reelection.  You should all wake up and do what is best for our country.  Standing solidly behind someone who can’t win, might seem like good principles, but in the end it will only help bring about the end of our great Republic.

  • http://www.facebook.com/yvonnemaj Yvonne Atwater Johnson

Rick Santorum is far to the right of the majority of Americans on abortion and birth control.  He comes across as a religious fanatic.  On fiscal issues and freedom issues he is far too the left.  Right now our country is in serious trouble and we need someone who knows how to manage money more than anything else.  Santorum cannot win.  Romney can.  It is time for all of us especially Glenn Beck to get behind Romney and help him beat Obama.

  • Anonymous

The even more elite Huntsman clan (that is Mitt Romney’s biggest personal rival and one of Santorum’s biggest financial donors) that, by the way you openly advertise your undying love for, and that you have sold your soul to, that plays you likes a puppet, is really enjoying the snow job they did on you Glenn.  Glenn, you have no idea that you sound like an elitist, too.      Brokered conventions: I like to think as reflect the people’s choice, not the establishment. Power and Money have a stranglehold on our elections. Anyone who wants to be President should have a chance at running.  If that means a brokered convention, I am all for it. If you can’t convince your party, then there is a problem.

Romney is losing 4 out of 5 swing states necessary to win. He is not the person who can beat Obama, no matter how many times the media says so. RomneyCare is a version of ObamaCare. Free abortions, mandated that all must have insurance, mandated that Conscience be taken away from those who disagree (Religious beliefs). There are 15 items where he did the same as Obama. There is video of him supporting it as well as telling Obama he should use his blueprint. Do your research. The deceiver potential nominee is pretending to be something he is not, lying to his conservative base. Again, his words are all on youtube. Obama will use them. As far as personal comments with Glenn, leave the guy alone and stop being judgmental. We all have our good and bad days.If you don’t like him, turn him off.

Or perhaps he isn’t bought like Savage, Rush and the many of talk shows who toe the Romney line because they are all owned by Baines Capital. Sound familiar. Yes, Mitt used to work for them and still has shares. Don’t bite the hand that feeds you. Levin and Beck are admirable. I don’t know why people have a grudge against Santorum. Perhaps you aren’t conservatives. The guy is a big family man. Values. More conservative than fake Mitt.

So next time you watch football, turn the TV off at halftime. You will already know who won, right? Or if you are at a baseball game, leave at 5th inning. No need to stay all nine. You know who won at the fifth inning. Do we want three states to decide our President, or do we want all states to participate? Just wondering. I can then put my mind at ease knowing I live in a totalitarian country and results don’t matter because it is all preordained.

Read Federalist #9. We are watching popular opinion swayed by Romney’s money drive the selection. The classic failing of any democracy. Republics have representatives (delegates) that buffer the mob rule. Lets give the delegate system a chance to work. Just goes to show you how important money, a lot of money, has to do with helping a candidate get nominated for their party.  Personally i don’t like Romney.  I think he’s a back stabbing, unpersonal type yankee who would talk about you everytime you turned your head.  Then again, he would just as soon stab you while looking you right in the face too.  He’s “dirty politics’ and has gotten where he is by mostly bad mouthing his peers assisted by a large amount of campaign dollars. Glenn, has bad mouthed each and every republican candidate to the point one would question whether he wanted Obama to win.  Maybe next time for Newt – the best qualified in every area…Glenn talked as if Newt was a part clone of Stalin and leatherface of TCM, unfit to share sitting room on a couch. When you attack money as the cause of winning, you sound so very much OWS if you know what I mean. As to the idea of a few delegates bashing it out and wheeling and dealing during a brokered convention your idea of representative decision making then more power to you.  However how is that wiser than the delegates chosing that person during the actual primary session, fresh from the vote?

Sorry, but my view of history does not show Winston Churchill being erratic.  Ego yes, erratic no.  You see, there are good and bad ways in dealing with one’s own ego.  Churchill had no problem with it.  However Newt seems to change spots to promote liberal talking points when he get’s erratic.  Now his ego drove him to change his spots.  Churchill did not let his ego force him to change his spots.  Therein is the huge difference.

This link will take you to a video on CBS News that shows why I REFUSE to vote for Santorum.  Talk about elitist, cold and totally unfeeling.  Santorum didn’t even give the unemployed guy decent eye contact: http://www.cbsnews.com/video/watch/?id=7404084n&tag=contentBody;housing

Bhwahahahahahahahahaha… Glenn criticizing someone about not knowing how stupid he sounds. Classic idiot.

Beck has been helping Romney all along by never laying a glove on Romney but being viciously brutal to romney’s rivals and not doing anything for santorum in a timely manner.

Perhaps you are correct. However, I don’t see him as changing his spots. If anything he has a problem with “thinking out loud”, which I actually see as a good thing. He seems to concider all posibilities, as opposed to simply discarding things that are not idealogically acceptable. However, it doesn’t matter what I think since Romney will be the challenger, which means another (4) years of President Obama. I will vote for Romney, as will a majority of my fellow Georgians, but it won’t help.

You know if you are negative and a defeatist and you assume defeat, your type will always lose, even when Romney wins the national election.

Romney, speaking at a University of New Hampshire town hall June 3, 2011:
“I don’t speak for the scientific community, of course, but I believe the world’s getting warmer. I can’t prove that, but I believe based on what I read that the world is getting warmer. And number two, I believe that humans contribute to that.
“I don’t know how much our contribution is to that because I know there have been periods of greater heat and warmth in the past but I believe that we contributed to that. And so I think it’s important for us to reduce our emissions of pollutants and greenhouse gases that may well be significant contributors to the climate change and the global warming that you’re seeing.”

Overall, Romney’s biggest financial supporters favor increasing taxes, capping greenhouse gasses, and legalizing gay marriage, and were also supporters of Hillary Clinton for President.

Unfortunatelly you diregard the character of a person.  Because a person is rich and has a different way of life does not disqualifying him for attempting to fix the country on a way he only knows.  You still prefer Santorum.  But you have never looked on how he made his money after he was ousted from the Senat.  He was like Newt pedling influence in Wahsington DC.  In the last year he made close to a million in that capacity and no one makes this point ever.  Mitt makes a lot more money with legitimate businesses.  He deserves to have friends in high places to give where he wants to give and run for president to fix the economy of the country not expand his selfactualization.
