My wife and I had the pleasure of enjoying 6 of our 9 grandchildren last night – oh did I mention my son-in-law and daughter were here also -lol- We had a wonderful time together but it scares the daylight out of me when looking at the direction this nation is headed.

Small world ain’t it. Man alive, I worked in your neck-of-the-woods on several occasions – before my latest job position, I was a custom trim carpenter. Trimmed a few houses out that way and also hooked up with the fitness center “Life Time Fitness” to do some custom work for the franchise here in South East Michigan. You probably know where its at. But ever since the bottom dropped out of the housing market back in o8, I’ve changed careers completely. My wife and I, now work out of our home and its a daily challenge. There are several long days involved, but the freedom of self employment is worth every penny nickle and dime.

Let’s just say, me and my mom have a fun little pass time at Greektown. I was only able to get 2 tickets, so my mom and sister were left out unfortunately, but they felt I should go with my dad because we are the sports lovers. It was a great time, but would have been greater if they hoisted the cup (mostly I wanted that for him). But either way it was memorable. It’s definitely great to be self employed, although difficult with this economy. The housing crash really but a damper on things for us also. I manage a handful of apartments in the Ann Arbor area, people are just struggling to pay, and the values of the places have dropped dramatically. Triplets! Wow! Have a great time down there!
