Will ‘Yonanas’ save Glenn and Pat…or be the end of the country as we know it?

Get Glenn Live! On TheBlaze TV

Glenn took a call from a listener today offering him the “perfect dream machine” to help him survive his 40 day fast leading up to the election: Yonanas.

According to caller Zoey, Yonanas takes frozen fruit and allegedly transforms it into some sort of a of soft serve, frozen yogurt-like treat.

While most people would call this an evil distortion or ice cream, Glenn called it an “evil loophole,” and told Pat that he “didn’t know if they should try it in the next 40 days.”

Pat’s response, “I think we should.”

So, who’s right?

Is Pat going to be a big cheater and find a substitute to replace his 40 day ice cream fast?

Will Glenn cave to Yonanas?

…we’ll find out when the election results roll-in this November.

Here is the core of the matter – you made a pledge unto God, and it is the spirit of that pledge that has to be kept – God is a spirit, and we are to worship him in Spirit and in Truth – so it is with the promise you gave: in the spirit and not the letter, and in Truth which is.

    2 Corinthans 3:4 and following:

4 Such is the confidence that we have through Christ toward God. 5 Not that we are competent of ourselves to claim anything as coming from us; our competence is from God, 6 who has made us competent to be ministers of a new covenant, not in a written code but in the Spirit; for the written code kills, but the Spirit gives life.

Frozen fruit with non-fat plain yogurt is a tasty, nutritious entree that can resemble ice cream or sorbet when beat beyond a puree. 😉 I think God is happy when people make healthy choices and show appreciation for the gift of a walking, talking body, so “no ice cream” does not mean no frozen fruit/FF plain yogurt “smoothie” or “sorbet.” (My fav is a blend of peaches, mango, blueberries and strawberries with just about any brand of non-fat plain yogurt–but the secret is to use Orange, Peach, Mango juice (100% fruit juice) to help blend). I have faith you’ll honor your pledge but this doesn’t count as breaking it. This has no saturated fats and is chock-full of nutrients, I think. 😉
