It’s come to this: New Obama ad features Big Bird

This is how proud of his record Barack Obama is – the latest campaign ad produced by team Obama features Mitt Romney’s comments on Big Bird. Wait, no bragging about the Middle East being on fire? No bragging about setting another food stamp record? Nope – time to talk Big Bird!

Sesame Street, however, is not on board with the ad. They issued a statement saying:

Sesame Workshop is a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization and we do not endorse candidates or participate in political campaigns. We have approved no campaign ads, and as is our general practice, have requested that the ad be taken down.

    To be fair Glenn most of Obama’s supporters watch Big Bird. How else would the occupiers learn to read? Wow ad has a lot of Occupy pooper mentality in it.

    I find it funny that Sesame Inc has put out a statement about this very ad. They are not a political organization and do not want to be associated with this.

    Besides, they make enough money to keep PBS on the air anyway. Wayne Dyer does specials all the time for donations to PBS. Why is government funding needed? The answer: it isn’t.
