Romney releases controversial Jeep ad

Get Glenn Live! On TheBlaze TV

The Romney campaign drew the ire of the left with an ad featuring Jeep and claiming that under Obama’s leadership Jeep might be moving it’s production to China. There’s a lot of back and forth on this one — and the left appears to have the upper hand. So how should Romney respond? Glenn has the answer in the clip above from radio!

The absolute viserol of the lefts reaction shows Romney hit it home hard in regards to the truth of the matter. This is one more matter Romney needs to keep hammering away upon, with the extra video Glenn mentions.

Its past time for Obama to be given his pink slip.

That is why when I buy a car it is going to be Toyota because they have more American parts in their cars than Ford Chrysler and Government motors. It sad Obama shipping jobs overseas and now the only car company brings the factories here is from another country but that what happens when unions screw things over. Thanks Obama for screwing us out of work. The left are mad because it is true.

Please Glenn send the Romney campaign a link to the GM CEO speech in China. This could push Ohio,Michigan and PA over the edge if Romney went on TV highlighting the GM CEO’s speech.

When I first heard that it was Jeep, well, I just shook my head in disbelief.  Why?  Because when we were stationed in Japan, in the late ’80′s through the early ’90′s, there was controversy going on about how many auto imports Japan was receiving from us and how much exports they were sending to America.   Well, we were in Tokyo, one day, and saw a Jeep.  My husband and I just laughed out loud because in true “American arrogance” where was the steering wheel?  Well, on the left hand side of the car; of course.  Of course the Japanese people were not buying our product!  We couldn’t take the time to send them cars that had the steering wheel on the right hand side of the car?!  That is where it needed to be!  Now, with their products being sold in America how many cars did you see on the road that had the steering wheel on the right hand side of the car?  Oh, probably NONE!  Because they knew we needed ours on the left hand side of the car!  Just thought I would share this funny memory from years ago with you.  Makes you wonder how many other “big ticket” items we screwed up on, right?

Like I said, people from Ohio may be fair and decent, but that’s not how they are being painted. They are being characterized as stupid and uneducated. Knowing what we all now know about Obama, who in their right mind is still looking to give him four more years? Anyone need a sign made that says, “Kick me again, I like it” so you can tack it to your butt?

  • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_7BLKDGFFE67F6V5GBORTNHYXXM Bobby

Remember Obama stole GM and Chrysler for having CEO’s who four years ago gave to Mitt’s campaign AND supported conservative talk radio in 2008.  Iacocca is also the Chrysler CEO who acquired AMC in 1987 — and AMC was the Romney’s company.

  • DC Hendrixson

Chrysler if anyone hasn’t noticed is no longer an American company. The majority owner thanks to Obama is Fiat, an Italian manufacturer. Have you ever driven or owned a Fiat? I have and they’re a piece of crap. The Italians won’t hesitate to have Jeeps manufactured in China. Labor costs are 1/20 of what they are in the US. I guarantee you after the election if Obama wins Jeep manufacturing will end up in China. But by then it will be too late to stop it. If we want American manufacturing jobs to stay in the US then we need to elect a President who understands how business works. It’s obvious Obama has no clue. He’s had four years to prove that.

  • DC Hendrixson

Fiat, majority owner of Chrysler is an Italian company. No doubt in my mind they will ultimately manufacturer Jeeps in China. It’s all about profits and profits increase when the labor costs are 1/20th what they are in the US. Why do you think Apple has the majority of their products manufactured in China? Americans must ask themselves how an American company Obama brags that he saved ended up being an Italian company? Duh. Most of GM’s vehicles are assembled in Canada and Mexico. Why? It’s all about profits. Obama saved GM and Chrysler alright. Congratulations for saving what? It’s Obama’s New World Order.

The ad is bullshit, but Romney and his camp have already stated that they don’t care about facts.
I would compare Romney to glenn beck on this point but I am still trying to give Romney the benefit of the doubt before agreeing with the masses that he is a fraud like beck.

  • VindicatorX

You are what you accuse others of being, and that has been a known fact here for a long time, troll. One thing consistent about you is your talent for lying. It is only exceeded by the frequency with which you do it.

Boom goes the moron. Fait is building jeep in Italy to bring them over here he just got the country wrong even tho they said they were planning on making factories in China to build jeeps. No it is not all production but the rest is going to Italy. Too bad you can’t think without your god telling you what to believe it is going to be hell for you when he loses. So Mitt was right with them shipping jobs over sea but he just got the country wrong as these two articles prove but yet you still scream hope and change all the way off a cliff like a good little brainless lemming.

I think Mitt pissed off the brainless idiots for telling the truth. He might of got the country wrong but they are shipping jeep production to Italy and the last time I checked Italy is not here. http://www.autoblog.com/2012/10/21/small-jeep-and-fiat-suvs-to-be-built-in-italy/

Glenn’s harping on GM and China market has to top some of his all-time dumbest shows.  He played clips of the GM Chairman describing how 7 out of 10 GM cars are built outside the US.  OF COURSE!  GM is a multinational corporation, just like Volkswagen, Toyota, etc!  If a multinational corporation focused on one market, it wouldn’t be a multinational.  GM owns multinational brands, like Opel, SAAB, etc.  And regarding China, every large automaker is salivating for a piece of that market because of its enormity.  Glenn misrepresents automakers commitment to China by falsely representing that American cars would be built in China and sold to the US.  These companies want to expand their business by selling to Asia.  THIS IS GOOD FOR THE USA.  It’s not practical to build the cars in the US and ship them to China because it’s not competitive for the same reason that Honda and Toyota build cars that they sell in the US in the US.  Either Glenn is purposefully misleading people with his comments about the auto industry or he has a severe lack of understanding of the business.

Interesting that you are TOTALLY disregarding what the CEO of GM had to say about the moving of more of GM to China . . . . so WHO is misrepresenting what is happening at GM????

The cockroach is back again spewing his hatred and bigotry.  He’s a prime example of a Liberal Spammer who posts on a schedule.

He has a sick obsession with glenn Beck to the point that he attacks his children and threatens his life.

Folks, this is what a Liberal Progressive looks like.  Remember it when they riot after November 6th.

  • VindicatorX

I believe you are right on both counts. They can’t accept anything outside of the lie based stuff they believe in, and Italy is definitely not part of the USA.

I don’t think that the commute would be doable for most Americans – LOL!

  • VindicatorX

“…this is what a Liberal Progressive looks like.”

U-G-L-Y, he ugly, uh-hu huh, he ugly uh hu huh…
    ROTFL!

The way I see it it was an honest mistake the only difference I can see between China and Italy is that one is run by Chinese and the other is run by Italians.

I already voted for Romney ticket by absentee ballot; hope it is counted

    Weak.

  • VindicatorX

Absolutely! Neither of them is a suitable environment for American jobs.

  • VindicatorX

Of that there is no doubt.

  • greywolfrs

Hey, it’s sticky chin the coward. If Romney and Glenn are frauds, what does that make Obamao? You are a moron.

Are you implying that GM would build cars intended for the US market in China? Trade barriers put in place decades ago make that business proposition very difficult as evidenced by the many foreign car companies that have plants in the US, e.g. Hyundai, Subaru, Honda, BMW, Toyota, etc. If it was cheaper to build them in China and ship them to the US, they’d be doing it already.
