I don’t understand why people can’t grasp the fact that the largest chemical stash in the world  (according to the IAEA) and found in Iraq constitutes WMD.  We saw what these chemicals could do when  Iraq used them on the Kurds.  I’ve read that our military destroyed tens of thousands of cannisters of these chemicals.  Do we have to be sprayed with them to get the point? 

First of all, Sadam murdered some 300,000 Kurds in Northern Iraq..with chemical weapons. Which are by definition, weapons of mass destruction…..so the liberal argument is BS….We knew that they did not have Nuclear capability…since Israel squashed their plant in 83….But the real question is do you really think Sadam would have stopped his attack in Kuwait????  His goal was Saudi Arabia and beyond….So if we did not build up our forces in Saudi,  we would have been really hurting because Sadam would have walked into Saudi…then where would we have been….bottom line..the libs have no CLUE about foreign policy…this FRAUD that was just re-elected will have hell to pay for his incompetence…Hillary is also incompetent as is most of this administration…..We lost some of our finest soldiers in the Benghazi attack….Navy Seals are the BEST of the BEST and will lay down their lives to protect us…believe it! If they rightfully hated Bush, -according to real logic, B.O.s policy and actions should cause them to doubly-hate Obama’s policies and actions as they are for worse…The reason these things happen (log in eye) is because we admire someone brave enough AND dure enough AND in position publicly to argue logical points with these illogical people.  We simply want to shout hooray.   Perhaps it gets us nowhere.  Perhaps, though, someone who is on the fence on their political position, and/ or who is slipping out of childish behavior during voting-  say, the ones that vote for someone because of eenie-meenie, or because s/he is cute, etc, can be saved and educated to reality instead of to lies.  For instance, I have a friend who has special-needs children, (as I do,) who changed her vote from conservative to B.O. when someone who teaches her kids told her that the Repubs would destroy all the funding for special needs’ kids schooling if Romney was elected, and because she likes this person, SHE BELIEVED IT!  Yes.  Although I sit on a Board concerning special needs folks, she did not come to me, – her teacher friend lied to her, and she ate it up.  THAT is a leftist  tactic, and we always applaud when truth and justice is served.  Sorry you hate that log in the eye-thing, Hoff.  I expect, though, if you got conservatives and Liberals together in the same room, they would actually be OK together.  Its the IDEALS and VALUES that are cheered or booed, honestly.

How does it happen that 3 liberal men (I have no idea who the quiet guy on the far right of the panel was) are put up against one conservative woman in the first place?  Aren’t panels supposed to have some sort of balance?  I love the way SE sat there so calmly, and so sure of her facts, while the lefties were practically frothing at the mouth. One can almost hear her chuckling to herself.  Another example of how conservative policies are based on ideas, while liberal policies can only be defended by feelings. 

For those who would deliberately misunderstand that last sentence, I do NOT equate Republican with conservative.  George W Bush (although I consider him more presidential than the current office holder) governed as a progressive Republican, not as a conservative one.

I started looking at the election map breakdown by counties, I believe the RNC needs to strongly make a push for the Senate, get the Congress back, that is where the laws are made. If we have someone who can win a popularity contest for (president) then spend some money there, but the real power lies with the Congress. potus not capitalized due to the office having less meaning now.

I love S.E. Cupp! I started watching her when she was a regular guest on Red Eye with Greg Gutfeld. I don’t care for Bill Maher’s show, but the few times I have watched him I have been appalled to see how often the conservative guests take a very timid, middle of the road approach, when discussing the issues. Ms. Cupp clearly came to the show prepared and was not afraid to stand her ground to point out the liberal double standard. She did not get flustered, stated the facts, and made the other guests look like slobbering idiots. I wish more conservative leaders used this approach and stood up for themselves. If they did, we would win the hearts and minds of many more voters. Great job Ms. Cupp!

We talk so much about voting out this guy and voting in that guy, well for right now that is over.  I have a suggestion for how we spend the next two years.  Why not launch a serious and powerful campaign to demand real truth in media?  We used to be able to trust journalists to give us the news without bias.  That is completely impossible now.  Let’s not just target the bias but what about the outright lies and blatant falsehoods?  We need to hold these people accountable for the lies.  If a “journalist” lies and it is proven, they should be fired immediately.  If the news we got were truly unbiased, and truthful, then I think our country would be a very different place today.  We need to start holding these outright liars and deceivers of the public responsible for their actions.  Boycott stations that show outrageous bias, and tell outright lies.  Let them know we will not stand for lies, democrat or republican.  If you intentionally lie in print or speech as a journalist that not still a crime?  Why don’t we demand truth in our news?  It shapes the opinions of so many and they know it.  If they lie, fire them.  Eventually we will see the return of journalistic integrity.  Sorry if I seem to be ranting a bit, I am just so tired of the lies.

If teenagers were properly educated at least by their parents (I despair of the school systems entirely, at this point) then 18 year olds would be fully prepared to vote intelligently and responsibly. I was well-prepared to vote in 2008, and I voted with my mind and heart alike.

The policies are mostly the same under Obama, to be sure, but the implementation is actually WORSE under Obama.  Congress approved of the war in Iraq after Bush sought their approval.  Congress did NOT however approve of an attack on Libya because Obama did NOT even seek Congressional approval.  He attacked Libya regardless.  When given the location of where Osama was, Obama literally SAT on the information before eventually giving the order to take him out.  If it was Bush, Bush would have IMMEDIATELY given the order to take Osama out asap.  Yup.  Implementation was at least 10 times better under Bush, lol.

Wars in the Middle East make us safer by ousting war criminal dictators like, say, Saddam Hussein.  It makes us safer by getting rid of GLOBAL terrorists like, say, Osama bin Laden.  Supporting Israel makes us safer because it’s good to have an ally in the region.  Not to mention the fact that they are a buffer to the likes of the extreme nature of Iran.  We need such a buffer, you know.  All this is actually quite obvious to those who have any real knowledge about how extreme some Muslims can be, lol.

If you actually wanted to show S.E. Cupp say something reasonable and ‘humiliate’ Andrew Sullivan then the first part of the show would be more appropriate. The first part where she disagrees with Sullivan’s position that legalizing gay marriage is similar to legalizing marijuana. But thinking she humiliated the panel by clinging to idiotic conspiracy theories about Benghazi is pitiful. Yes we should have answers about Benghazi but it was not a conspiracy by us, it was an attack on *US*. Just like the numerous embassy attacks under Bush. If we really want to address the issue then we need to make sure that when the State Department requests money from Congress for embassy security that it is no longer denied. We also need to push aside distractions about Susan rice reporting the declassified talking points that were given to her by the CIA, she did nothing wrong. The attacks on her were obvious political positioning since she is a possible nominee for Secretary of State. We also need to recognize that in the beginning it was completely reasonable to think it was in response to the ignorant anti-Muslim video since at the exact same time there were protest in Cairo in response to that video, and other countries as well. We also have to recognize that intelligence evolves. We need to stop the partisan witch hunt and pretending to care about the truth when all we want to do is make the President look bad because any old slander will do when it comes to Obama.
