Present day intelligence and communications are instantaneous… “Real-Time”!! Our Commander-in-Chief is not leveling with us. He had to know what was going on. No matter where he was or what he was doing, his intel would have contacted him and kept him updated on everything as it was happening. America needs to demand an answer and an explanation. This is appaling! It shows, at the least the incompetence of the total administration. If I was in the situation room and got that message that the compound was under attack? I would have ran at  dead run to the President’s office and handed him the message right there. If I were Panetta I would have personally told the President , “Hey we got a situation in Bengazhi, the compound is under attack!” and I would have immediately got the situation room up and running right then.  If I were the President knowing that I have 2 very highly trained forces trained in extraction under Fire I would have given the order to standby to move out right then. AFter verification in the Situation Room of the attack I would have given the GO! to Delta and or 6 to get in there and Extract the Ambassador immediately. Panetta says, the Ambassador was dead then .. that was hours after the attack! so why didnt they send Delta to the rescue? instead they told the “STAND DOWN”? Insane! This whole thing smells of an administration that figures all personnel are expendable for the good of the new doctrine … an administration who doesn’t care about his forces and diplomats out in the field. He literally murdered them by doing nothing! This is grounds for being relieved of office and brought up on charges of dereliction of duty and treason. He is wagging war against our own citizens and service personnel, both diplomats and military. This is Sad. Why can’t congress see this? And Panetta is so calloused about the whole thing he sounds like he doesn’t want to be bothered with the hearing at all. Arrogance at its worst. And to think people voted for this administration? On February 28, 2003, Gunmen on motorcycles attacked the U.S. consulate in Karachi, Pakistan, killing two police officers and wounding five other officers and a civilian in front of the consulate. 
Late in the evening of May 12, 2003, gunmen entered Al Hamra Oasis Village in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, a compound known to be inhabited by Americans and other Westerners. 
On July 30, 2004, three suicide bombers targeting the Israeli and U.S. embassies in Taskkent, Uzbekistan managed to kill two and injure nine others.  
On December 6, 2004, terrorists stormed the heavily guarded U.S. consulate in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, occupying it and taking 18 hostages for a time. When the incident was over, they had killed nine people, including four security guards and five staff.

All of that was before the end of Bush’s first term, yet there are no accounts of John Kerry or other Democrats using the incidents to attack the president, or to suggest the United States was weak, or to insult the dead in any way. Then came the second term:

On March 2, 2006, just two days before President Bush was scheduled to visit Pakistan, a suicide bomber targeted the U.S. consulate in Karachi, killing four, including a US diplomat believed to be the target, and as many as 50 others. 
On September 12, 2006, four armed gunmen stormed the U.S. embassy in Damascus, Syria. In the 20 minute attack, they threw grenades and fired automatic weapons at guards. In the end, one person was killed and 13 wounded. 
On January 12, 2007, a rocket-propelled grenade was fired at the US Embassy in Athens Greece.  Thankfully, it was early morning, and the building was empty and no one was injured. 
On July 9, 2008,  men armed with a shotgun and pistols stormed the U.S. consulate in Istanbul, Turkey. At the end of the five-minute battle, three Turkish policemen were killed.

I can find no account in which Bush Administration officials referred to these attacks using the terms “terrorist attacks” or “acts of terror.” 

In 2008, there were two attacks on the U.S. embassy in Sana’a, Yemen. The first was a mortar attack on March 18, that missed the embassy and hit a nearby girls’ school, injuring 13. But the biggest attack came on September 17, 2008, when terrorists dressed as policemen attacked the embassy with RPGs, rifles and grenades. There was also a car bomb. In the end, 16 were killed and many more were injured.  

There you have it. Eleven confirmed attacks, and at no time did anyone on the Democratic side treat any of them as anything other than tragedies that took the lives of Americans or people from foreign countries who were protecting Americans. Such attacks are not political footballs, to be used to give yourself an advantage, because you have nothing else.What Beck and the GOP is doing here is SHAMEFUL!  Deceitful propaganda at it’s most unpatriotic!

But Hannity did not air the section of Panetta’s testimony in which he pointed out that information about the attack “went to the White House” and that Obama stayed in contact with military officials and was “well-informed” during the attack. Hannity also failed to air a clip of Gen. Martin Dempsey stating that White House staff “was engaged with the national military command center pretty constantly through the period, which is the way it would normally work.”

Hmmmm, this story doesn’t comport with the version that Beck deceitfully conveys.

They are covering up for the treachery of this POTUS, and his Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, to deflect from what is coming down the pike. Draxx – I couldn’t agree more with you.  The big question I have is why has no one….Republican or Democrat asked the question of why 3 senior military commanders were relieved of duty the night of the Benghazi incident.  General Carter Hamm Commander of AFRICOM was relieved of duty at gun point by his Deputy Commader General Rodriguez; General Joseph Dunford Deputy Commandant of the Marine Corp. was relieved of duty that night; Rear Admiral Charles Gaouette was relieved for  “inappropriate leadership judgment”.  These blatant attempts at a cover up have gone unannounced and unanswered for.  Not a single question from our Republican congress members…it makes one wonder if they aren’t all worthless pieces of human excriment!  These firings of our best and brightest military commanders should be a fricken beacon to our political leaders in Washington that something’s amiss…yet not a single question on the matter.  I fear for our country’s future; I fear this will result in eventual civial war for our country!

Why is everyone so surprised that Obama was not available to the news in Libya.  He had to go to Las Vegas and run for office.   I said it before and I say it again.  Impeach Obama for his dereliction to duty, refusal to uphold the Constitution and not protecting the lives of American citizens.

Both Fast and Furious were gun running programs. Fast and Furious supplied guns to drug cartels, and Benghazi supplied them to Islamic Terrorists…Both programs show the allegiance of this administration to undesireable entities.  If anyone receives nasty emails with foul language ignore it, and don’t respond, (ignore them) because most of us know we have the truth on our side, and the progressives are trying to intimidate and bully people into shutting up.

The Obama administration had 7 hours to help the people in Benghazi. Airpower would have diverted the outcome, and this lack of consideration for lives!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just a small note.  Havenpt people realized that we have had an absentee president for over four years now.  There are others making the choices for us and we didn’t elect them.

Maybe the reason that the president was not available was due to something negligent, and unfocused, that could create an embarrasment. Something like a do not distrub sign on the door, while he gets some booty. Imagine if that came out. Imagine what people would think if it came to light that while United States military and State Department personnel were being killed, the President of the United States didn’t want to be be bothered, mid stroke, while he was pumping away.
