Both parents have to work, some times 2 jobs for each. To put food on the table and buy energy. That is the other political football! So there is little time for the children. My taxes this year went up almost 2000 dollars. We didn’t make 1/2 of the 250,000 promised to raise our taxes. We are working just to pay taxes. That is what the liberal left wants, so they can control all of us. The only thing keeping the government at bay, is our second Amendment. That protects the rest of our constitution!

Obammy, FAR-LEFT MEDIA and many others are causing so many problems about the guns. Have any of you seen a gun, all by itself, get up and shoot at people? I have seen many people do it.  The Federal Government is guilty of overdoing and giving the wrong solutions. What are they doing about the problem? Nothing. Obammy goes out on his speaking tours, as usual,  because he doesn’t know what to do, like the idiot he has always been. He usually goes to his UNION buddies. All they want to do is take away one of the express rights in the Constitution, our 2nd amendment. The Founding Fathers knew very well that it keeps the government safe and keeps the government sane. There is plenty of gun-rights on the laws. We all need to look at all the factors, such as violence in the culture through the media, including video games that kids sit and play for hours and hours, people coming across our borders bringing in drugs and they have guns.  People, that want to make a BIG name for themselves and they are the ones that need medical help. They all are getting more radical and dangerous then ever. The Media needs to protect the rights of everyone and NOT THE FAR-LEFT agenda and Obammy needs to  have a working agenda. The Second Amendment (as has been overwhelmingly interpreted) was written into the Bill of Rights as #2 for a reason: to protect the other 9 amendments. The original intent– which has been lost on willfully ignorant sheep such as yourself– was that the populace be at least as well armed as the government. Does that mean we should have access to tanks and shoulder-fired rockets?

Actually: yes, as long as the owners can demonstrate a sense of responsibility, they can afford them and they have undergone the proper training in their use and maintenance. Otherwise, seriously, what reason is there NOT to own one? Don’t come back at me with “Why SHOULD they own one?” America doesn’t work that way– or, at least, it shouldn’t. If you can make that argument, it makes just as much sense to make a philosophical argument against red sneakers because red means danger! and long-term exposure to the color red increases hostility and feelings of anger. How long before the government takes away First Amendment rights, once they no longer have to fear an armed populace responding to tyranny? Oh, wait, Obama already sidestepped the Constitution by signing an Executive Order that says we can no longer “protest or demonstrate” in the presence of the Secret Service.

So, when you practice your First Amendment rights, you should also do so with “weapons from the period.” Get off the internet, pick up a turkey feather, write your grievances down on a piece of parchment, and pin it to a tree in front of town hall.

Even though I’m a supporter of Glenn, I have to take issue with his perspective on this story. It’s my understanding it was the victim’s mother-in-law who stated “‘and then the gun went off” but Glenn is portraying it as if the details in the news report were added to look as if the criminals were not somehow reponsible. I think this is somewhat irresponsible and dishonest. Come on Glenn, isn’t this the same kind of selective analysis we get from the mainstream networks ? I have to question your authenticity when I see something like this.
