Mr. Reagon, it is not enough to say that you are a good person and dedicated to take care of your younger siblings no matter what the cost was to you!  I wish there were Millions More Young Adults Like You!!!

“Moral courage is the most valuable and usually the most absent characteristic in men.” General George Patton. He shown moral courage to walk to this interview and to take care of his family God bless him.

I am proud of him.  Complete stranger, but his actions inspire us all.  I hope nothing but the best for him and the restaurant owner.

God Bless this young man. I was Blessed with a son who secretly applied and got a job at the age of 14 to help me with the household because I was just starting out in my profession. Although I did not want him to work he explained to me that it would be ok so he worked 8 hrs at nite, at a bakery, for one of the meanest man in town and would walk home, early in the morn. catch a few hours sleep and then go off to High School, kept his grades up and never complained. My son is now a very successful young man with a wonderful family. Im very proud of him and I am blessed that God gave me a son named Joseph. God Bless Mr Reagan and everyone pay it forward.

I still can’t get enough of this story, because I live here in Indy, and  have seen and talked to Art and gone to Papa Rouxs’ place may times. Just so glad to know that there are still people willing to do for themselves, and grateful for a little help along the way. We have to make sure that this type of person doesn’t become extinct.

Admire the Resturant owner yes, great that he can see a person that is really trying to do something for himself and family in times that people are doing these types of things all the time. If the media and social media would focus on these types of stories instead of the doom and gloom stories that everyone is subject too, maybe people would have another outlook on things. There is a lot of good people in America, the good people just need to find each other and spread good things to everyone else, like they say .. one good egg can spoil a basket… well that works both ways…I do love this story… I also feel that there are a lot more of these  people in the America that we all live in !

The tragedy is, that what used to be COMMON in America, is now a NOVELTY in America. God bless this young man for showing us what HONOR is all about!

This is Mama Roux.  I want to thank you, Glenn, for the encouraging words you said to Jhaqueil at the end of the interview this morning.  It’s so refreshing to hear someone of your caliber say to a teenager that hard work will get you places.  We have lost the desire to work hard in our country and we have instead taken on an attitude of entitlement.  I am pleased to have Jhaqueil join our team of hard working young people.  I love these kids, and though they are not my own, I hope to be a positive influence in each of their lives.

I live close by to Papa Roux, I hope I spelled that right. Wonderful food is served there. I have never met either one of them, from this news cast but I have been following this story. It has touched my heart to see that pure goodness is still alive in this small world we live in!!! Pay it forward is my MOTTO!! I hope all people do the same. I love happy stories!!

What a wonderful young man. There are so few young people that I know that would take on a responsibility of this magnitude. To do so is not only a sacrifice so far as having to work hard at a job, it is putting virtually all aspects of his own life on hold at a very young age for those he loves.

How refreshing to hear of this young man and his work ethic. One in a million!

just cruious…how is this luck? The story would be a lot different had this young man asked for money for the bus…no this is not luck it is what more young people in America ought to be doing…whatever it takes..instead of the ‘gimme’ attitude that a lot of people have today.
