Maxine Water’s sequester apocalypse prediction: +170m jobs could be lost

Get Glenn Live! On TheBlaze TV

Well, the sequester apocalypse is here. The world may not actually be ending, but according to Maxine Waters, everyone in the country (and then some) are going to lose their jobs.

“We found out from Maxine Waters yesterday how bad the unemployment situation is,” Pat said.

“Yesterday we did have Mr. Bernanke and our committee, and he came to tell us what he’s doing with quantitative easing and that is trying to stimulate the economy with the bond purchases that he’s been doing because he’s trying to keep the interest rates low and create jobs.  And he said that if sequestration takes place, that’s going to be a great setback.  We don’t need to be having something like sequestration to cause these job losses. Over 170 million jobs that could be lost.”

That’s A LOT of jobs. But, there’s just one problem: there are only 134 million people currently working in the United States. So if Waters is right, about 40 million Americans…who already don’t have jobs…are going to lose their jobs.

http://data.bls.gov/timeseries/CES0000000001

“Over 170 million jobs!” Pat joked. “That’s 40 million more jobs than exist right now…so it’s going to be so bad.”

“Can I tell you something?  I didn’t want to ‑‑ I didn’t want to tell everybody.  Everybody, gather around.  I didn’t want to tell you this earlier, but we all have lost our jobs today,” Glenn joked.

TheBlaze.com reported that:

“Luckily for America, the estimate is clearly wrong. TheBlaze could not find any data to suggest that the $85 billion in automatic sequestration cuts during  FY2013 (about 2.4 percent of annual federal budget) would cause 170 million people to lose their jobs. Then again, that’s also impossible because there aren’t that many people working in America. Unfortunately though, once something is said, you can’t take it back.”

Whew.

So lets check the math of Maxine Waters…

She claims 170 million jobs will be lost while only 130 million (roughly) exists. That would lead to a net loss of all jobs and 40 million more that do not exist…hmmm…DC we have a major problem…

Once again we see the insanity and hyper-hysteria of the Left displayed to the world; as a fact I will not be surprised if Obama uses executive orders to deliberately crash the economy across the board in the next few days.

Maxine is clearly menatlly challenged.  What scares me are all the people who voted to put her in office.  Imagine how stupid and dangerous they are!!!!

Ms Waters is counting all those dead, illegal ,and multiple voters . Not to mention the computer generated voters. That is how she got170 million workers from 140 million workers or are they counting all those 20 million slaves another black congressman clamed the white people threw overboard while bringing them to America during colonial times to feed the sharks . There is no reason for Ms Waters to be stupid if she can’t show it.

Do you remember when college students used to take 15 credits a semester and go bar tend somewhere for 15 or 20 hours a week so they could eat?  Now they take upwards of 20 credits a week, learning nothing but bullshit, and don’t have a job at all (thereby not being able to feed themselves on their own merit).  As Bob Dylan famously said, “the times they are a changin…”

It wasn’t a mistake and that’s clear by watching the clip of her speaking.  She emphasized the word MILLION, and then notice the lady directly behind Waters left shoulder (to the right on the video), the expression on her face which was like, “oh no, my colleague Maxine just put her foot in her mouth.”

A friend and I were discussing how utterly moronic this pack of fools, cowards and frauds are – and not occasionally – they are fools, cowards and frauds 24/7.  Maxine, Obama, Hank Johnson (who thinks Guam will capsize if we but too many service people on it), and too many other examples to possibly list.  More depressing is that the majority of Americans (correction: people inhabiting America and sucking on the old welfare tit) that are half-witted enough to not know better.  Perhaps the threat of massive electromagnetic destruction of brain cells while using an Obamaphone is real.  Too bad the GOP is so richly represented in the fools, cowards and frauds column, leaving us nobody to clean up this mess but ourselves.  Now that we know that can’t be accomplished at the ballot box, due to mind boggling levels of voter fraud, it’s time to launch Plan B.

Maxdimwit is counting on her toes again.

One moved and she raised it to the 10 power.

She then multiplied this figure by Nancy Pelosi’s age, divided by her own IQ, and added the number of lies Obama has told.

This is how she got to somewhere over 170 million jobs that will be lost.

Obama is elated also with her math skills – he can put this 170 on welfare and get votes to change history so he gets a third term.

Only problem, even the dumbest of the dumbed down will fall for this math gymnastics.

The people aren’t buying his lies this time.  Even some Democraps are speaking out against this sorry excuse of a President.

The cuts are easy, start with the 6 billion Dollars he’s giving to the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt, then the 3 billion dollars to Pakistan and the 3 billion to Al Qaeda in Syria.  That’s 12 billion our Military could use.

    Here’s a couple billion more:

    http://voices.washingtonpost.com/federal-eye/2011/03/government_overlap_costs_taxpa.html

The U.S. government has more than 100 programs dealing with surface transportation issues, 82 monitoring teacher quality, 80 for economic development, 47 for job training, 20 offices or programs devoted to homelessness and 17 different grant programs for disaster preparedness. Another 15 agencies or offices handle food safety, and five are working to ensure the federal government uses less gasoline.

“Reducing or eliminating duplication, overlap, or fragmentation could potentially save billions of taxpayer dollars annually and help agencies provide more efficient and effective services,” the GAO said. Merging or terminating operations as recommended in the report could save up to several billion dollars.

The study, mandated last year as part of legislation raising the federal debt limit, is likely to be cited by lawmakers pushing for deeper spending cuts as part of ongoing budget negotiations. Several congressional offices received advanced copies of the report on Monday; The Washington Post obtained a written summary from congressional aides.

“This report will make us look like jackasses,” Sen. Tom Coburn (R-Okla.), who read the report, told reporters Monday. He sponsored the amendment requiring the report’s publication.

Hell, I’m not even the President and I found Billions of dollars that can be cut!

Poor Maxine – she dreamed that 170M Americans would be out of work if Sequester went through; and then there is Poor Nancy . . . this dumb broad said we would lose 500M jobs a WEEK!!!  It is a pretty sad day for America when two lonnnnnnnnnnnng-time elected D.C. officials don’t even know that there are only 139M jobs TOTAL in America!!!  I hate to say this, but it is true . . . if these two bimbos represent the women serving in D.C. along with all those lame-brain men, no wonder the country is in deep doo-doo!

And as for Poor Nancy . . . wasn’t it she who said “unemployment is good” because for every $1 spent for unemployment insurance, there is $1.76 returned to the economy so what in the H*LL is she worried about?  We are about to have a HUGE stimulus package totally concentrated on unemployment benefits!

I’ll tell you what they are BOTH worried about . . . they KNOW we are about to bottom out, unemployment will rise, inflation will rise, interest rates will rise . . . and slowly but surely, the American people who bought their “bill of goods” will figure out just how badly they have been screwed!  AND the Democratic Party has been in charge of the Economy for nearly 4-1/2 years!  it will wreck their long-range goals if they have to take responsibility for the tsunami that is about to hit us broadside!  No wonder they are flapping their arms like guppies, sucking too much air, and are trying to get back in the water!!

I am asking myself what kind of crisis they will invent to divert attention away from “what comes next!”  Remember, what goes around, comes around.  and the progressives are about to get their due!  It is going to hurt, hurt ALL of us, but I will be glad when this crap ends and we can get busy putting the Republic back on solid ground!

That’s the beauty of being a liberal in the US right now. There is literally nothing that they can say that is so outrageous, no lie they can tell that is so outlandish, and no exaggeration they can make that is so ridiculous that the press will challenge them. It leads to an intellectual laziness that is institutionalized. It makes it extremely frustrating when you know that your opponent neither knows the facts nor cares about them. For liberals, there is literally NOTHING that cannot be justified in the great “cause”.

Yea, Maxine flubbed that one.  But the greater point is that the sequester will ultimately be damaging to the economy and really hurt some people bad, weaken our military and reduce medicare payments.  This situation is no joke.  If it continues for any considerable length of time, conservative estimates are that it will drag the modest growth rate from 2.5 to 1.5%.  Congress is a joke.

If our dictator repealed Obamatax, I’m certain it would more than cover the sequester equation.  Half of the money I’ve paid into Medicare just got swiped for something I don’t like.  I have never claimed unemployment, I have paid income taxes almost every week of my life since I was 16 (about to turn 30 next month).  I take care of myself and pay my health insurance premiums.  I think it’s time for this country to split in two, I’d like to live in the half where I’m not getting blamed for something I didn’t create.  This country no longer deserves to exploit my labor, actually it never did.

This is to you and SEBtopdog as well, I’ve heard that some people are now trying to say that Benjamin Franklin’s famous “a republic, if you can keep it” quote was actually “a democratic republic, if you can keep it.”  Not such an insignificant play on words huh?  Revisionist history is quite insidious and it’s headed straight for scholastic America.

  • Anonymous

I know how you feel. I’ve paid a lot of taxes over my life and there are a lot of moochers of government programs. Medicare isn’t going away. It’s critical to the sick and elderly. Without it, this country would go back to the indignity of the poor houses of our country’s past. Increasing healthcare costs and unaffordable insurance reached a crisis point and administrations for decades have known it would eventually cripple our economy. I hear a lot of criticisms of the Affordable Care Act, but not many alternatives. Certainly some administration had to face the problem. So it was Obama. It should have been Bush. Clinton tried, but the special interest insurance companies made sure no reforms were made. Massachusetts’ model of Obamacare has been a success.

  • Anonymous

Criticisms of ACA? Unconstitutional, insolvent, a promise made to spend someone else’s money. Health insurance has spiked proportionately larger SINCE Obamatax has been put into place. With the enactment of Obamatax, it has been assured that health care costs will never ever go down. Obamatax was the worst possible “alternative” to what happened before. Remember, it’s the responsibility of both parties to find a solution to the problem, not for one party to force their agenda and criticize the other for not agreeing to something they hate on moral grounds. Clinton was the last good Democrat. He worked with Gingrich. Those two were a match made in heaven. But now you have banal Boehner being bullied by the dictator. Medicare isn’t going away? Well I predict it will slowly fade starting in January. You know why? NO MONEY!

  • Anonymous

ACA was adjudicated constitutional, and the deciding vote was from a conservative judge. Healthcare is expensive and healthy people have to help pay for unhealthy people. Otherwise, the pool gets sicker and the sicker it gets, the more unaffordable the pool is, and so on. There is no other solution. Call it unfair, but everyone will become unhealthy some time, it’s just a matter of when.

BTW, Gingrich was out to get Clinton in a big way. He became cooperative only after voters and his party punished him.

It doesn’t matter what Justice Roberts decided, the ACTUAL CONSTITUTION has a thing called the commerce clause and it was sidestepped, and last I checked the commerce clause has not been repealed.

Clinton boom began before Newt became speaker. The American economy generated 6 million jobs in Clinton’s first two years, interest rates dropped, the deficit shrank and productivity rose — all because of the Clinton policies that Gingrich opposed.

We also have a thing called the judicial branch that decides what’s constitutional when questions arise.

I’m not sure which representative is more nuts…..Maxine Waters with her jobs loss comment or Barbara Lee (CA) wanting to have a cabinet level Department of Peace!!!  If she is so concerned about violence she should consider repeal of Roe v. Wade.  Just think of the violence 50 million fetuses have suffered over the last 40 years.  If she wants more peace, she could start with inner city neighborhoods (Chicago comes to mind) & advocate for two-parent homes that just might decrease the violence of so many young men.

Dr. Benjamin Carson had a better plan for giving people healthcare.
The Mass plan’s been a disaster for taxpayers, 83 percent have  publicly-funded programs, such as Commonwealth Care and MassHealth. Federal Medicaid funds underwrite about half the state’s cost.

What’s going to happen when the Federal Government has to underwrite 83% of the Nations healthcare?

The only reason that such a ridiculously modest amount of cuts could hurt us is because they are targeted at things that many jobs are tied to. For example, the military cuts doesn’t actually affect the military as much as many would think, but the defense contractors that pay REALLY well will be forced to lay off employees. Unfortunately, the cuts should have been targeted on Medicare, Medicaid and other forms of welfare, as these are monstrosities that net absolutely no income for the US. Until this country starts waking up and realizing it is not good to be the answer to everyone’s wants, needs, wishes, etc, we are never going to catch up. Most of what is collected in taxes is in a non-stop suction. We can’t seem to figure out that no how much is taken and redistributed to those who feel that they have are entitled, because of whatever circumstance in their lives, to what rightfully does not belong to them, they will want more. Obama won the election because now, a majority of Americans think that there’s some “candy” somewhere for them. This attitude is destroying the economy. But, as I said at the beginning, you are overreacting to this. You need to stop listening to Barack Obama’s self serving, full-on lies and start thinking about what he is saying. We are NOT going to die, we are NOT going to see the economy set back because of this. The reason that the economy is not catching up is because Americans are not certain how much money they are going to see because of all the damn taxes! All those fools that thought the Democrats were oh, so reasonable in asking that only those who make more than $400,000/yr pay more in taxes would end up picking up the tag for everything were fools. They’re even bigger fools because all Obama has to do is blame the Republicans for the tax hikes on nearly everyone, and they all buy it hook, line and sinker. All they had to do was read more than liberal newspapers and watch liberal TV. Although, I’m not certain that they even do that. The press is completely compliant with Obama’s lies and fall all over themselves trying to pass blame to the same guys who, at least at first, were saying, “NO” to tax raises and tried to include the perpetuation of the FICA tax rates in their proposals, only to see it nixed by the President. It didn’t even matter that the president was publicly saying he WANTED us to go off the fiscal cliff. He knew that no matter how ridiculous his lies, they will be bought by the majority of the people. This is why we can’t get control of the spending frenzy we are on.

Excellent reply Bert. I’m sick and tired of hearing these foolish rationalizations for Obamacare. As a doctor, I can tell you that the most realistic outlook is that yes, with Obamacare, everyone could have health insurance…unfortunately, it does you absolutely no good if there are no doctors who accept it because it pays less than what it costs to keep an office open and costs the country more than ever before. Most physicians I know are counseling their children to pick anything BUT medicine as even now, we are being asked to pay the costs for the “savings” of the program. Everything in healthcare is going up drastically, but the way that Obamacare works is, they actually REDUCE what is paid to physicians. Why would I take this? I paid off my student loans and practice buy-in last year. That was after 22 years of practice.

  • Vae Victis

Speaking of hypocrites, you were Romney’s biggest supporter and only now do you complain about Romney Care?

Anyways, thank you for finally acknowledging that Romney Care is a disaster which involved the entire country paying for it and not just the State of Massachusetts.

  • Anonymous

Landree, if you will recall, that conservative judge even ignored Obama’s arguments that Obamacare is not a tax to disagree and stated that Obamacare was constitutional BECAUSE it is a tax. John Roberts is no conservative. Your arguments that everyone is going to get sick is irrelevant. How is a failure to save or plan in favor of expecting that someone else will support you an argument that that person then has claim to what they did not earn? Your need does not equate to an entitlement. Your want does not equate to need. The majority of the people in the US do not save and do not plan for the future and its getting worse. Government is the absolute worst vehicle for the delivery of healthcare in existence. Mountains of waste and the paper to document it is about how good it is. When I was in residency, we used to have to work at the VA hospital that was concurrent to the University of Iowa campus. We used to joke that there should be a large sign on the doctors’ entrance saying, “Check your brain at the door.” A few hundred yards away, there was a sane, logical approach to medicine, but there, the government rules far outspent any care that was delivered and the people there suffered for it as well as those attempting to serve veterans. Government is NOT the answer to healthcare. Now, if you haven’t noticed, the GAO is saying that it will cost approximately one trillion dollars more than was originally on paper and it has grown from a 2,000 page plan to more than 13,000 pages in just a few months. There have been 16,000 new IRS agents hired to do nothing more than audit and cite people for failure to purchase a private product through pure tyranny. Yet, the GAO also estimates that there will be MORE people without healthcare because of the massive costs incurred from the new rules imposed. We also know that the government will be deciding who lives and who dies based on cost-benefit analysis, all the things that Obama and his “czars” all denied. Now, it’s simply a matter of course and ho hum to the press that these councils will exist. Unfortunately, we are also seeing the inability of people to choose healthcare that is not included in the government’s assessment of what is necessary and most of the rules prevent those same people from seeking healthcare through private payment, as if there is something immoral or wrong about not depending on the government for every breath from birth to death. Your statements, again, are completely irrelevant. Solving a problem through government programs that are indisputably horrendous, wrongheaded in their approach and MORE costly than what existed before does not solve the problem. Perhaps if you had ever been a physician and worked for the government you would understand what I know to be fact. The only truly driven and successful governmental medicine is that which exists in the military. I served in the Air Force and I have never met finer or better trained medical personnel from the lowest to the highest. And they were all meshed with high ideals and a sense of purpose. But having worked outside the military for the government as well, I can tell you that this is NOT the case. The problem has grown, Landree, not shrunk. And with each new page added, the morass, like our tax system, and enforced by the same jackasses who couldn’t find their own rear ends with a map and both hands, grows ever more expensive. We simply cannot, under any circumstances, sustain the quality of care that we have enjoyed previously, nor the amount of care, nor the choice of care. It DOES NOT WORK when it is the government that administers the program. Research is being squelched in favor of results that, unfortunately, are not possible without the research. When was the last time that you heard of a major medical breakthrough coming out of Canada or England? Contrary to the lies released by the UN and eaten up by the liberal press, the US is the finest healthcare system in the world. But not for long. We have been the best because of the incentives, the research and the personnel. It is simply impossible to attract the best under this kind of a system, researchers will choose other fields because of the problems with this system. There will be a few who will fight the tide, but they will be few and far between and if they stand out in any way, they will soon be on the government’s radar and their work squelched ASAP. I’ve been there. I made the mistake of outworking eight other doctors combined. That would have been commendable in any other profession. Not in the government. Because I actually managed to make a small profit for the clinic, we lost a $150,000 grant and I was out. I had already been marked for demise because the clinic was paid under a system called FQHC in which the government pays by VISIT, not by WORK. See the picture? I was completing eight times more work than the normal doctor, who was spreading out the number of appointments needed for any given procedure, thus bilking the US taxpayers out of far more money than with a person with a committed work ethic. And, instead of being commended for having the highest number of patient commendations, I was summarily fired from the clinic. No loss, I was ready to leave out of sheer disgust. This is the legacy we have chosen, Landree. Platitudes are all good and well until the test of the lack of substance behind them. This massive glut of healthcare money will result in FEWER patients being seen and doctors who are unable to make the simplest decisions without permission. I’ve been in that situation as well, in which some pencil pusher thinks they know medicine better than I do and makes decisions they should have no say in EVER as the single decision that counts. Mine is never factored into that picture. Try studying this from a different viewpoint. I can tell you this, you have no idea what you are praising. It will be the end of the nation through costs, diminution of the value of human life in favor of what someone else wants and abject bankruptcy. Kill the economy and you kill the country. Thanks for being Obama’s boy on this. Too bad you’re unwilling to step outside the liberal tripe box and look at results while forgetting the platitudes. In MY world, it is results that count. In your government utopia, the platitudes will win the day no matter the results. Break the cycle and try THINKING.

    Q. Who controls the US House of Representatives?

    A. Republicans

    Q. What are the enumerated powers given to the House by the Constitution?

    A. The Congress shall have Power To lay and collect Taxes, Duties, Imposts
and Excises, to pay the Debts and provide for the common Defense and
general Welfare of the United States; but all Duties, Imposts and
Excises shall be uniform throughout the United States;”

Now we see that the Republicans are just as much to blame as Obama and the Democrats in the Senate, if not more so. Until people face the reality that both major Parties are corrupt, nothing will ever change.

Republicans will feel the blow back of the sequester decision more than Obama. Loosing senate seats in the last election that were almost assured Republican plus recent polls on pubic perception are clear proof. The public views Republican’s rigid stance on taxes a uncompromising. Republicans are at odds with each other within their own party.

In 1997 poor public opinion of Gingrich lead to House Republicans attempted to replace him as Speaker. In 1998, Republicans blamed Gingrich for loosing five seats in the House, the worst loss in 64 years. This is fact. Then he started working with Clinton.

If you do not stop your belligerent nonsense about racism, I will not respond to you. That sort of incitement only makes you look incapable of expressing yourself constructively.

Correct. That decision allows corruption of the electoral process. I don’t believe corporations should be treated people regarding influence over elections. Corporations motive is purely profit, which can be at odds with consumer protection and many other interests of the public.

All your points factually incorrect. Clinton enacted the 1993 Deficit Reduction Plan without a Single Republican Vote. The plan included targeted tax cuts and more than $500 billion in deficit reduction.
You accusation that Clinton was responsible for 9/11 is disgusting and barely worth a response. Clinton tried to get Bin Laden and failed. The intelligence was handed of to Bush. Do you blame him for the bombing?
Clinton was not impeached. He finished his term.

I’ve never heard of Carson’s plan. I do know that health care costs remain high in MA and must be addressed. But, the plan is widely supported by stakeholders according to this Blue Cross study: http://bluecrossmafoundation.org/sites/default/files/Monitoring_MA_Reform_May_2012_v2.pdf

  • SoThere

All you leftist know that a President isn’t responsible for the first 4 years of his presidency ie. Obama. If Clinton had taken Bin Laden out when he had two chances,(he failed to act!) 9/11 might not of happened, dickweed.

If you really want to know what went on in 1993 read this:http://www.thepresidency.org/storage/documents/Deficit_Reduction_in_1993.pdf.

The real reason that Republicans fought against the bill:

    “Specifics:

It created 36 percent and 39.6 income tax rates for individuals in the top 1.2% of the wage earners.[2]
It created a 35 percent income tax rate for corporations.
The cap on Medicare taxes was repealed.
Transportation fuels taxes were raised by 4.3 cents per gallon.
The taxable portion of Social Security benefits was raised.
The phase-out of the personal exemption and limit on itemized deductions were permanently extended.
Part IV Section 14131: Expansion of the Earned Income Tax Credit and added inflation adjustments”.

Once again you’re stupider than dirt you racist, bigoted hypocrite.

Clinton was responsible fot 9/11 because of his intelligence agencies were fighting with each other over Clinton policies, including Nancy Pelosi who was the ranking Democrap member in the House Permanent select Committee on Intelligence.

Duties include working to ensure policy makers and the Military Commanders are provided with the timely and accurate intelligence necessary to guide diplomatic initiatives, succeed in combat and to protect U.S. military forces.

Provide intelligence on Weapons of Mass Destruction and global Terrorism.

Nancy Pelosi was the ranking Democrat on that Committee.

The point about sequestration being bad is not that cuts aren’t necessary, it’s that cuts applied ignorantly will damage the recovery. Independent CBO estimates a 0.6% drag on our 2.5% GDP growth and approximately 700,000 job losses, which is significant at a time when the recovery is fragile. Economists I’ve read on the subject believe cuts must be applied gradually to continue growth, which is theorized to provide much more toward debt reduction than austerity as it did during the Clinton years.

You were given several chances to have a respectful debate, but this response proves to me you’re unwilling to do so. I will not waste any more time on you.

  • Anonymous

Well, since you accuse me of not thinking, I’ll tell you I understand your points and agree with several. I do understand that the court agreed ACA was constitutional if its considered a tax. I don’t consider healthcare reform simply platitudes. I consider it an attempt to address an extremely complicated problem that’s threatening our economy. The basic premise that healthy people have to buy in makes sense to me, but it follows that problems would result.

I think that people must take responsibility for healthcare costs to some degree and I that HSAs are an excellent way to do that. I think that HSA funds should be paid directly to doctors for the small stuff to avoid the administrative burden with a safety net for the poor. I think insurance should be used as insurance for catastrophic situations as opposed to using it as prepaid medical like it is now. My wife is a speech pathologist and sees on a daily basis people who have self-inflicted illnesses. That is a huge problem that could get worse, like in Canada, if people aren’t held responsible to some degree. Out of pocket payments would make people be more conscious of their choices.

On the other hand, my wife sees constantly how insurance companies avoid payment of claims. Your concern about czars should be directed to insurance companies as well, who’s panels decide to delay or deny life saving therapies. My father’s insurance company, for example, denied his cancer surgery because they considered it experimental. Medicare considered the same treatment as valid. Insurance company’s decisions are made based on profit, not necessarily for the wellbeing of the patient. Medicare is more reliable and fair in my wife’s experience and my sibling, who’s a clinical dietitian. She also sees how people that are between insurance have gone bankrupt.

Your concern about paying doctors per visit or test or procedure is a concern of the CBO as well, which advised that payment should to some degree be based on outcomes. I don’t know how you do that and make it fair for Doctors, but as a business person myself, I’m all for it.

Recent studies of the MA plan have shown wide support by stakeholders, but that costs have not gone down, which must be corrected. It hasn’t shown medical bankruptcies to go down, but the research is clouded by the effect of the recession.

  • SoThere

You lied, posted racist and bigoted comments and tried to back it up with studies where half of them din’t make your point and the others were studies from bigoted researches. You got called on it and insisted to lie. You’re a racist bigot, plain and simple.

The Republicans gave Obama the opportunity to make all of the decisions on the budget cuts.  Then Obama turned around and scoffed at the bill they proposed on this by saying, “it is dumb to make these cuts ‘arbitrary’ we need across the board cuts!”  The “arbitrary” cuts would require more thinking and more research.  Across the board cuts would require less thinking and research and they give Republicans less opportunity for filibustering, which is of course what Obama had planned on.  If you can’t filibuster then you can’t iron out all of the details concerning the fact that you can’t just say “It’s the Republican controlled House’s fault.”  They gave Obama the power to make the decisions, but Obama won’t make the arbitrary cuts, you know why?  It was a good idea and he didn’t think of it. The Republicans did and he would have had to acknowledge that they deserved credit for making a wise decision that he didn’t have the brains to make.  Obama should have been a lawyer because the only redeeming skill he has is that of being a smooth talker.

  • Anonymous

Obama’s not only a lawyer, but was the president of the Harvard Law Review. It is disappointing that neither side will compromise, but since Republicans will not budge on tax loopholes, Obama can afford to spend some of his political equity on playing hardball. The American public have shown how they feel about Republicans by having voted them out of Senate seats. Obama knows it.

I have to say you know a lot more about life than me.  I can tell just by reading your posts.  I was always brought up to be proud of my humility and ashamed of anything I do or say out of arrogance.  In the good book it said, “He who humbles himself will be exalted and he who exalts himself will be humbled.”  It’s not always easy to admit that you aren’t the smartest person in the world.  The “liberal” mentality isn’t based on humility.  It’s based on selfishness and a struggle for power whereby the ends justify the means.  I read every word of Saul Alinsky’s Rules for Radicals.  I knew I would disagree with every word of it before I picked it up but I read it because I like obtaining knowledge.  I like knowing how the other side thinks.  I recoil when I hear bullshit and I’m addicted to knowledge, wisdom, and most importantly, the truth.  It’s more important to be wise than is it to appear to be wise, and this my friend is what NO liberal understands.  Don’t be discouraged my friend, the only people who will listen to you are people who WANT to learn.  That’s the cross that intelligent people have to bear.

Aren’t you the one who was promoting NAMBLA memberships? I seem to remember that you were or was it natural born children you were marketing?.

  • Vae Victis

I’m sorry, I am not paranoid like you and frankly don’t care what you think.

You are going to suffer a brain aneurism if you don’t settle down and get to bed. You have to take better care of yourself in your old decrepit age.

I wish you would give up being a troll. Being a paid liar on the internet is not a honorable job.

  • http://www.theconservativepush.webs.com/ SoThere

You can’t go to bed because you’re afraid that I might post something. You’re paranoid as all hell.

I’ve been a member here long before your new sock puppet, that makes you a moron and a TROLL.

You keep your delusions if they helps you justify your lunacy.

How’s the sale of little natural born children going for you and your NAMBLA buddies, you seem to know an awful lot about the subject.

  • Vae Victis

Now who is the paranoid one screaming about socks?

How does being a member here long before my new sock puppet make you not a troll and me a moron and a troll? That makes absolutely no sense and only proves you have been creeping around here being a troll for a long time.

Now what exactly are you a “member” of here, besides NAMBLA?

Is Glenn Beck paying you to do this or are you just trying to impress him?

Hey Glenn look at me! I am defending you! Glenn! Glenn!

LMAO! You are all over the place, go get some sleep old timer.

  • http://www.theconservativepush.webs.com/ SoThere

You are. You’re always paranoid about sock puppets, you see them everywhere. Your a sicko. Again with your fixation with NAMBLA, sorry no natural born children here for your group. I don’t defend Glenn Beck so that’s another delusion you have. You spend an awful lot of time trying to discredit him here though. Are you jealous of GB? Go get a pet if you’re lonely, a parrot or something that will talk to you in real life and stay away from your NAMBLA buddies!

OOPS I hear yur Momma coming, youz better get in yur bed!

  • Vae Victis

You make absolutely no sense. Thank you for demonstrating that to all the readers. Now go to bed and stop being a troll.

He was a lawyer! AND a damn good one you say?! He should have stuck to that, because he’s a lousy President. So if you say he’s using his political equity to play hardball, then you are basically admitting that he’s using his influence to intimidate the Republicans. When you do your taxes every year, how do you approach it? Do you pay as much as you possibly can, or do you get as many deductions as you can? I know which way I go on that one. If Republican could get a flat tax, the REAL definition of a “fair share” then I guarantee you they wouldn’t give a shit about loopholes because nobody (rich, poor, middle class, proletarian, bourgeoisie) would need them anyway.

Well it looks like numb nuts are after me as well. You would think that any normal person would of let go the happen in the election around December and moved on with their lives but not this bigot that just keeps changing names over and over again and comes out every month like a woman having her lady day. I wonder if fool has the back bone to actually grow up once in his life. He has so much hate in his heart for us I all most pity his soul.

  • http://www.theconservativepush.webs.com/ SoThere

You’ve fallen into the trap. He gets lonely so he makes up another Sock Puppet and then he spews more of his famous quotes from other people until you die from boredom. There’s a new site just starting out for Conservatives. It’s interesting that you’re allowed to put up You Tube videos and stuff. I put the link in my profile. I signed up already. There’s a BLOG, a Forum and Videos.

Don’t worry about people you have no control over, life’s too short.

I hope you have a GREAT day Sam, smile, it can only get better. LOL

I’d assume Harvard elects smart people to be president of the Law Review. Every politician uses their influence to affect outcomes. Obama’s playing this brilliantly. He’s created an alternative that nobody wants, cuts spending, then uses it as a lever to get Congress to compromise on taxes. Supporting Obama’s position is the fact that the majority of Americans approved of his proposal of three dollars of cuts to one dollar of revenue through a combination of elimination of unessential loopholes and a slight increase in progressive taxation. It remains to be seen whether Democrats will go along with Obama on the entitlement cuts, but Obama claims he’ll fight them.

Flat tax proposals are brought to the floor about every four years then disappear without a trace. The current tax system is dysfunctional, but CBO believes a flat tax would rapidly widen income inequality by reducing rates on the rich, while increasing them on the low and middle class. Countries with lower inequality do better by almost any measure.

Good points. I agree that insurance companies often bank on dishonesty. There are some that I would call downright satanic. For example, one particular insurance company I have dealt with will often deny procedures performed only AFTER receiving written approval. However, I disagree with your contention that Medicare is more apt to pay appropriately than other insurance companies. Physicians can be accused of fraud if they turn in claims for some things that Medicare does not cover, although it is considered appropriate by state licensing boards, other insurance companies and the professions themselves. Medicare also auctions off administration of the program by region, thus resulting in multiple approaches to coverage in which denials occur for the same procedure based on the administrators of a particular region. Why does this happen? Because the government rules are an unfathomable morass that results in costs nearly twice that of private care for the same services. Again, the need for a solution doesn’t mean that government IS the solution and, unfortunately, this is where everyone seems to turn for answers. The other problem is that where unlimited healthcare is available, consumers do not appreciate the cost of that care. In states that require even a modest co-pay ($2-$5 per visit), vast cost savings are realized. Yet, the democrat approach is to require nothing as this is seen as cruel. I also believe that what you are referring to as an HSA is actually an MSA. HSA’s are accounts that allow for private investment of around $6,000 in a savings account that is also connected to a catastrophic insurance policy. Any monies not expended for healthcare can then be used as a minimal retirement investment in which the unused funds can be withdrawn with tax benefits after the age of 65, or anytime prior to that for any approved healthcare expenditures. MSA’s are usually accounts that are provided by companies or government in which a certain amount of money is deposited per year for insurance purposes and can’t be used as long term investments. The poor would never be able to use a typical HSA, but Medicaid and Medicare could be adapted to fit a MSA. Patients that are between insurance already have access to insurance through current HIPAA rules. Regardless, it should be the responsibility of the insured to PLAN for changes and, should they fail to do so, it should not suddenly become everyone else’s responsibility to provide for that person. There is a miniscule segment of the population that should be cared for (the developmentally disabled, the handicapped, etc) as a societal responsibility, but unfortunate circumstances, no matter how tragic, should not entitle the rest of us to lay claim to what was not earned by us and does not belong to us. Until we change our attitudes, there will only be a growing pool of those who have a towering sense of deserved entitlement that obligates everyone else to materialize the wants of the entitled.

Yes, it does take about that long. When I graduated, I was carrying several hundred thousand dollars in debt and it took quite a few years to even begin to earn enough to be able to pay off the loans. The majority of healthcare professionals are not supported by parents and have to take out the loans for schooling costs which are rising dramatically. In the meantime, interest accrues at drastic levels and, according to law, you can only refinance those loans once, except through private sources, which, until you have a significant track record under your belt, will not lend this money as it is often unsecured. Many people believe that most physicians come from families that are well off, but this was the minority when I was in school. From what I can see, little has changed, although one of the hidden costs of Obamacare is that healthcare education may soon be out of reach of all but the most wealthy. Thanks for your words!

You have to give him credit he knows how to put a room to sleep. I will just treat him as the troll he comes off as. As far as I see it he is no different than the other liberals spewing their hate for everything Conservative or Glenn Beck. I just signed up for the web site and hope they are on the ball when it comes to trolls.

  • http://youtu.be/R7MC2wu49Cw Sam Fisher

If you don’t mind I am going to tell a few family members about this on face book.

  • http://www.theconservativepush.webs.com/ SoThere

    The more the merrier.

  • Vae Victis

I can see getting some sleep did no good for your mental state.

Don’t you feel you made a big enough ass out of yourself already?

For you to come back the next day and keep your trollish nonsense going does not reflect well on you. And that is without even getting into the insane things your are insinuating.

It’s hard to believe that somebody in their 60′s could act the way you do, but seeing is believing.

I am not saying this to be mean but you need serious professional help before you hurt someone or yourself.

Are you back again. Go display your sickness to someone else.

  • Vae Victis

The only sickness on display is your posts.

Do you think what you do is acceptable behavior?

Yeah the Soviet Union turned out great. Other countries doing awesome with low inequality? Cuba, North Korea, Laos, Vietnam, China, great places to live right? You are so full of shit I’m done humoring you.

  • Vae Victis

I don’t ever remember saying that. You sure like to make up things.

For the sake of full disclosure, I do belong to the North American Marlon Brando Look Alikes. But we don’t molest children like your North American Man Boy Love Association does. We oppose you and your sick group.

Speaking of that, I think your little psycho Monkey boy needs a hug. You need to be a better father figure to him, he is very impressionable. If you have any love for him you will stop filling his head with your sickness.

  • http://www.theconservativepush.webs.com/ SoThere

You brought up your infatuation with NAMBLA, not me. Can you see where you’re going when you back-peddle?

Go display your sickness to someone else, I’m not interested.

  • Vae Victis

You must be interested in what I say if you have me on Follow.

You are one irrational old man. If you had any rationality you would stop now.

  • Anonymous

Besides the reasons like the CBO’s, why don’t you think a flat tax has been instituted?

  • http://www.theconservativepush.webs.com/ SoThere

I have you on follow just to piss you off. Go away sicko.

  • Vae Victis

Yeah yeah sure, whatever. You can lie to me all you want but you can’t lie to yourself. Or maybe you can?

You really do need to get professional help and stop being a troll, it is very unhealthy, especially in your condition. You and your small group of trolls are so full of hate. Sad, so very sad.

You have shown yourself to be a deranged old man that is out of touch with reality. I don’t need to highlight that fact any longer here.

Go ahead and reply back, I will let you get the last word in since you think that is how arguments are won. lol

  • http://www.theconservativepush.webs.com/ SoThere

You’re an obsessed sicko. Go away. Take your sickness somewhere else. Grow up.

Idiot Maxine and most of her idiot minority politicians, at every level, were granted acceptance into colleges as affirmative action applicants, meaning, they didn’t have the SAT/ACT scores and or GPAs to get accepted like every other student. Now, we have Maxine & the other idiots in D.C., like Shelia Jackson Lee & the black congressman who thought Guam would capsize if we continued to stockpile military assets on that island!

So, now we’re supposed to be surprised by further idiotic comments from another failed black politician?

    Nothing newsworthy here.
