‘It’s the right thing to do’: David Barton takes a look at a few of the ‘good’ stories to come out of 2013

We have become so accustomed to hearing about the bad in the world we often forget to recognize and celebrate the good things that happen. On Thursday’s Glenn Beck Program, David Barton filled in for Glenn and decided to take a look back at some of the stories that show the best mankind has to offer. These stories involve ordinary people doing extraordinary things, and on the precipice of this new year, we could all learn a thing or two from these exemplary individuals.

Yes. These are all great inspirational stories. And I sincerely mean that.
Which is why I can’t help but want to vomit that they’re being ..”quote” hijacked.

I don’t know if I should up or down your comment. Would you care to explain what you mean by ‘hijacked’?
These are all GOOD NEWS stories that made the rounds this year when they happened. Did you miss the original broadcasts?
There is SO MUCH BAD in the world that it is uplifting to see the good.
So, if you ‘think’ these were hijacked ,for a reason other than to uplift, please take your ‘downer’ some place else. Have a Blessed New Year.

You forgot about Cameron Lyle the UNH athlete who gave up his career for another who had cancer. I’m sure shaving his head was a great sacrifice for the former President…but not like this guy!

  • Liberalism is Nonsense

Since negative consequences may arise when we accept responsibility, our natural tendency to avoid them is most easily achieved by not accepting the responsibility that leads to them in the first place.

There were a lot of good stories in 2013!! Time was a big factor in the process. David Barton has always shown good discernment in his selection process. I am sure he did not mean to slight anyone, but rather chose the stories he felt most closely fit into his narrative for the time allowed.
