Glenn talks to NC Senate candidate Greg Brannon ahead of Tuesday’s primary

One of the candidates Glenn is most excited about this year is Greg Brannon, who is challenging Senator Kay Hagen (D-NC) in North Carolina. While Brannon polls well against Sen. Hagen, he has a tough primary battle to get through against the establishment-backed Thom Tillis. The primary is scheduled for Tuesday, May 6. On radio this morning, Brannon joined Glenn to talk about his campaign and why he is so energized going into the home stretch.

Prediction: Greg Brannon and other Tea Party candidates will lose their primaries by comfortable margins to establishment candidates. Reason: They’re getting outworked on the campaign trail. Greg Brannon should be out campaigning from Wilmington to Boone, from Currituck to Cullowhee instead of wasting his time on the Glenn Beck Program. Brannon and others like Matt Bevin are counting on talk radio jaw flappers like Beck, Hannity, and Mark Levin to win their races for them. That won’t work.

Yeah he should go on Late Night and John Stewart because the idiots that watch those shows believe anything, look who they elected.

Outworked on the campaign trail?! Are you kidding me?! Not only IS Brannon traveling the state, attending meeting after meeting, but our grassroots volunteers are knocking on doors, making phone calls, working the polls. There is excitement! Guess what? Being on shows like Glenn Beck have helped draw in a number of new volunteers! When I’m out door knocking, people are saying, “Ya, I heard about him on Glenn Beck!”.

Look, this race clearly is about the future (or lack thereof) of the GOP. Tillis claims support from Jeb Bush, John Boehner, Lindsey Graham, John McCain. These are the folks destroying the GOP!! Team Brannon has Rand Paul, Mike Lee, Mark Levin, FreedomWorks, Glenn Beck. There just really is no comparison here. Team Brannon all the way!!

If Republican voters decide to cast ballots for establishment candidates, then they are as low information and dumb as Democrat voters because that is essentially who they are voting for: Democrats with “R” after their names.

Your prediction is right – most tea party candidates will lose because they won’t run 3rd party and have idiotic gop estab consultants running their campaigns.
Yes, they should spend time on talk radio. However, enough of preaching to the choir. They need to focus on cracking idiots that vote gop establishment like Romney/Rubio.
