Gaffney is an advocate for people with disabilities as well as the children of the future as countries around the world try to eradicate Down syndrome through prenatal testing and abortion. She talked with Glenn on today’s show as part of a celebration of World Down Syndrome Day, an international recognition of people living with Down syndrome.

“All life matters regardless of how many chromosomes we have,” Gaffney said. “Down syndrome is a life worth living and a life worth saving as well, and we want to live a great life in all that we do.”
