American Dream Labs: Building the robots for Man in the Moon

We’re planning to do some amazing things this summer at The Man in the Moon. Many of you have probably joined us at one of the “Restoring” events, but this is going to be something very different. The storytellers at the American Dream Labs are going to be telling the story of America in a way that has never been done before. It’s a story of struggle and triumph, of good and evil and of simple people finding a better way.

The American Dream Labs team has been hard at work developing new pyrotechnic, visual and audio techniques that will change your family’s Independence Day forever.

As we get closer to the event, I’m going to be sharing some of the behind-the-scenes stories of what the American Dream Labs team in Salt Lake City is developing. Just the other night, the head of our SLC Dream Labs Ben sent over this video of the team working on the very early stages of the robots that will be a big part of the show.

Let me know what you think.

Man, does this ever sound like a crock.

As and Automation Engineer I Love To See Things Like This, sometimes things are so cool I can’t go to sleep because I start dreaming of the possibilies they inspire…

The Future Is Built on the Toys/Gadgets That Seem Worthless At First!!!

Take “Star Trek” their gadgets are now Reality, they started with plastic hand held communicators and now we have Cell Phones.  They pretended to have Ion Drive Systems, and now we use them in Space Craft. And the list goes on…

You are just mad that Glenn did not make Obama the man in the moon.

Very cool! I’m also intrigued by the Rube Goldberg-looking contraption on the wall. :-)

Wow, compressed air.  Very cutting edge technology here.

I  don’t understand why people like Ted and Critten have to ad such negativity to a wonderful idea.  If you don’t like something, go to another website that you do like.

Glenn is always coming up with something new and creative. I am impressed with the way Glenn is often doing things that have so much potential to bring families together and strengthen their bonds.- and that’s just for starters.

What a mind he has!  Amazing!

These pneumorobotic bastard creations are just Glenn’s latest attempt to play God.

For decades science has tried to create a sentient robot, and though this tightly-edited video doesn’t show it, I think Glenn’s team has done it.

This gigantic leap of technology will obliterate all previous notions about military power, pose a
fundamental challenge to all religions, and eventually upend human
    civilization.

Those types of people usually offer nothing but negative criticism. It’s what they live for, it’s why they exist, it’s all they are capable of. I saw the production last night on The Blaze TV and it was awesome. I hope they did too. If they did, I know what they had for breakfast this morning . . . their ugly words.
