King of conspiracy theories Donald Trump (what, you thought we were going to say Glenn?) has recently brushed off questions about George Soros during a recent speech. Glenn was curious as to why someone who seems game for something as out there as “birtherism” would dismiss a question about Soros.
“"Forget Soros. Leave him alone. He's got enough problems. What about Soros, let's talk about somebody else, sweetheart,” Trump said.
“A lot of people think that George Soros is you know nothing to worry about,” Glenn said. “Anybody else find it odd that he would say let's get off of George Soros?”
“In December 2001, the New York Post mentioned a private party hosted by Roubini and Oliver Stone, George Soros, and Donald Trump,” Glenn said. “Roubini, George Soros, Donald Trump, that's interesting company for a conservative candidate.”
Could Donald Trump think that George Soros is too much of a conspiracy theory, or possibly a “booger bear” as Huckabee recently inferred?
“How does Donald Trump have any credibility saying I don't know I'm skeptical of that claim. Are you, Donald? You'll accept anything as proof,” Stu said.
“It's just so odd, the Donald Trump thing,” Glenn said.
