If you thought Bain Capital was bad, you haven’t seen anything yet. The truth is out on Romney’s character, he’s such an extremist, that as a Mormon Bishop he actually had the unmitigated nerve to recommend an unmarried, pregnant teenager look into adoption as a possible option. Thank goodness there is a book coming out to exposed Romney and his hideous pro-life values…
The idea that being pro-life, while acting as a Bishop, was so ridiculous that it even bedridden Glenn called to weigh in on the story with Pat and Stu. If a Mormon Bishop recommending adoption over abortion is shocking, just imagine how the writers of this book would react to good parenting and discipline.
Glenn joked: “Wow. Next thing you know, next thing you know, as of ‑‑ we're going to find out that Mitt Romney as a dad might have considered or actually carried out a spanking as a father.”
In typical political fashion, Romney’s critics fail to notice the hypocrisy of their own attacks. Romney, recommending that a young woman look into adoption, not abortion, is pure evil. How dare he put a human life ahead of a woman’s “right to choose!” - But, putting the life of a dog in danger by placing the dog crate on the roof of his car, absolutely unforgivable in the eyes of the liberal media.
Regardless of how ridiculous the attacks are on Romney, when it comes down to voting time it is all about policy, and none of the GOP candidates are perfect. However, Glenn couldn’t help but point out, “I'd much rather have somebody who put a dog in an airtight container on top of the roof of their car and drove him safely on vacation and nothing happened to the dog than somebody who's talking about the EPA is great for creating jobs, or I'm positively Wilsonian and there's a lot of things that the government has to do, like Newt Gingrich. Hello.”
