Over the weekend, Glenn sent correspondant Raj Nair and crew members from GBTV to Indiana to not only cover the damage caused to local communities by the tornadoes, but also to find some of the amazing stories of neighbors helping neighbors in the wake of the devastation. Mercury One, a non-profit initiative that Glenn launched late last year, has also been organizing to help with disaster relief through charitable donations and working with local groups on the ground.
Among those interviewed on GBTV were first responders and other volunteers who were on the ground.
Glenn spoke with one of the first responders with the Kentucky 9-12 project via Skype early in the program:

While GBTV has been covering the stories in Indiana, Mercury One has been helping those affected by the tornadoes. All week, donations made to Mercury One will be going towards the charity’s tornado relief efforts. Mercury One is working local organizations and faith-based groups in Indiana and the surrounding area that are working to provide long-term aid to the devastated communities.
