Before he passed away, Andrew Breitbart promised that he has tapes of Obama in college that had been covered up in order to make him more appealing to the American people. Breitbart promised to release the tapes as part of a "vetting" of the President that was not done in 2008. Well, the tapes were released last night...and it appears they aren't as great as we had hoped.
Breitbart TV reports:
"Open your hearts and open your minds to the words of Prof. Derrick Bell." Those are the words of Barack Obama in reference to the controversial racialist Derrick Bell. Prof. Charles Ogletree, Barack Obama's mentor said "We hid this throughout the 2008 campaign." As more is uncovered about Prof. Derrick Bell and his radical views, it will become clear why Prof. Ogletree wanted this video hidden.
"Was that a major letdown?" Glenn asked after seeing the tape. Glenn emphasized that the disappointment was not Breitbart's fault and that the expectations were set high in the days following his death.
"It was, like, the last story Andrew Breitbart did, 'Very important video?' and you're, like, 'Not so much'," he said. "That's not his fault."
"We've already got so much on the guy that this seemed like, well, okay, yeah, he hugged a radical. I mean, he does that all the time," Pat said.
"It's one off those things, too, when you look at Obama over a long period of time, I don't know that you're ever going to do better than Jeremiah Wright. Really, can you top Jeremiah Wright? The guy was saying that the United States government created AIDS to kill black people in the church you went to for 2 decades. How do you do better than that?" Stu added.
