Another day, another attack on Mitt Romney’s faith. This time it comes from Martin Bashir, who called Romney a liar and said he’d suffer ‘eternal damnation’ for all of his lying. Of course he’s completely wrong - but Glenn also wants to know - where’s this line of attack on Harry Reid?
On his show, Bashir claimed that Romney had been lying about Ted Nugent's endorsement, unemployment under President Obama, and a left-wing conspiracy in the media.

The Huffington Post reported:
Then, he [Bashir] wondered how Romney would be punished for lying, and whipped out the religious text of Romney’s faith.“In Section 63, in verse 17 of the Doctrine and Covenants of the Mormon Church we find this: ‘All liars, and whosoever loveth and and maketh a lie, and the whoremonger, and the sorcerer, shall have their part in that lake which burneth with fire and brimstone which is the second death,’” Bashir said. “And from the Book of Mormon to Nephi, Chapter 2, Verse 34 we find this: ‘Woe unto the liar, for he shall be thrust down to hell.’”
"I've never heard that about Harry Reid. Why is the Mormon faith suddenly a question with Mitt Romney. Harry Reid is a Mormon of good standing," Glenn said. " Both Harry Reid and I are members in good standing. How does that one work? How is it they have a problem with Mitt Romney but not Harry Reid? Other than agenda."
"May I just say I think we have to hand it to America. You know we're not as far‑gone as we thought. CNN and MSNBC had to go find more pieces of crap in a foreign country. They had to go over to the Great Britain to find another piece of crap that would tell these lies. It's like they ran out of Americans that would be this disingenuous. Let's go to England, and see if we can find a couple of pieces of crap," he joked.
