Will Smith has been a vocal supporter of Barack Obama and his plan to increase taxes on the welathy, but during a visit to France he was asked if he would support a 75% tax rate - exactly what is being proposed by new Socialist President of France.
Business Insider explains, "The Hollywood megastar enthusiastically preached the gospel of paying one’s fair share of taxes in a French television interview this weekend."
"But when asked about his take on the tax policy of French president-elect François Hollande, Smith’s was shocked silly by the suggestion of a 75 percent tax rate on those earning above €1 million annually,” reported BI's Alex Biles.

"I have no problem with Will Smith," Glenn said at the start of the video.
Glenn explained that Smith shares the same opinion as many in Hollywood that the rich need to pay more in taxes.
During the interview, Smith responds with a "God Bless America" and a laugh upon hearing President-elect Hollande's proposed rate of 75%.
"You can see the actual shock of that number," Stu said. "(Smith) is not a tax expert in European economics. It strikes him as shocking as it should strike you."
