With the majority of polls showing the presidential election to be a dead heat between President Obama and Mitt Romney, Glenn came out this morning with a bold prediction.
“I want to give good news this hour,” Glenn said. “Good news why this election will be a landslide against Barack. Why I believe the American people are done with Barack Obama, and that means those on the right and those on the left.”
“Those on the right have been done with him for a long time,” he continued. “But those in the middle, those independents are the ones that are really key. Also though the uber-left are finished with him. He is falling apart and so is the entire coalition on the left.”
The first step, Glenn believes, will be a win for Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker in tomorrow’s recall election.
“One of the great steps on this is going to happen tomorrow in Wisconsin. Scott Walker is going to win,” Glenn predicted. “This is going to be a huge development. This will send an earthquake to all of the uber-leftists elites… The coalition of labor unions and extremists is just as toxic as the President of the United States is.”
No one has been paying much attention to the Republicans who have been quietly winning races at every level – local, state, national – across the country. More importantly, it’s not just Republicans unseating and beating Democrats, but Republicans defeating RINOs (Republicans in Name Only) too.
“There is a major power shift going on right now,” Glenn said. “The GOP lost their coalition a long time ago. The GOP and people are still a little desperate – they’ll vote for a RINO if that's their only choice, but in state after state, in city after city, and in school boards, Tea Partiers and common sense Americans are starting to get their foot into the door.”
While many in the media have been comparing this election to the 2004 election, in which incumbent President Bush squeaked out a win against Senator John Kerry, Glenn sees this election going more towards the 1980 Carter/Reagan election. Reagan was behind in the polls up until the very end because no one wanted to commit to Reagan, but in the end the prospect of four more years of the Carter administration proved too dangerous.
“Look at the headlines just of today. Europe is collapsing. Asia is starting to have a stock market route as well. I have long felt it was coming. I hope it's wrong. But it's coming,” Glenn warned.
“I don't know how that affects the election. I don't know if that keeps Barack Obama in office or not. But if things play out like they have in the past, get ready for a Jimmy Carter and Ronald Reagan landslide.”
