Glenn’s journey has been quite an interesting one over the past few years. He thought Restoring Honor would be the last big event he’d ever do - but he was wrong. It was just the beginning of what was to come - before Restoring Love arrives, take a look back and see how and why this all began. Beginning with Divine Destiny....
The Divine Destiny event was a last minute addition to the weekend, with fans having to line up at The Kennedy Center to get tickets:
There were fans lined up over twenty four hours before the event. Wanting to reward their patience, Glenn swung by the theater to meet the dedicated viewers and listeners - and to hand out some pizza and soda to the crowd.
In the days leading up to Restoring Honor, Glenn would randomly swing by the Lincoln Memorial to see how the stage setup was going and to meet with the people who were camping out to make sure they had the best seats in the house. In fact, after meeting some of the fans who had been lining up, Glenn realized that the raised area for the press was going to block their view. He asked his staff to have the risers taken down, giving the press the same seats as the fans.
While Glenn was running around D.C., the rest of the staff was busy setting up and rehearsing for 'Divine Destiny' at The Kennedy Center:
Noted historian David Barton was helping produce the show:

Yes, Chuck Norris was a featured speaker at the 'Divine Destiny' event:
Not long before the event was scheduled to start, Glenn left to go hand out a small number of tickets to fans at the Lincoln Memorial:
This led to one of the most iconic images of the whole week - a father and son who got two tickets to the event:
