Did you know that the radio audience for the Glenn Beck Radio Program spends about $800 million a month on their cable bill, but many can't get TheBlaze on their channel lineup? Today, Glenn asked listeners to tell their TV providers that it's "my money, my choice" and that it was time for them to get a channel that represents their values.
"This radio program reaches 10 million Americans. If those 10 million Americans ‑ and this is high for some and very low for others ‑ but if you have television of some sort, the average bill is about $80 a month. Do the math. That's $800 million a month just from this audience," Glenn said.
"I believe in the concept of 'my money, my choice. My money, my choice.' The hard‑earned money that you pay to your TV operator every month should be spent the way that you want it," Glenn said.
Rather than spend their customer's money on the programming they have been demanding for months, many TV providers have chosen to spent that money on channels like MSNBC, CNN, and even Al Jazeera.
"Tell them: 'Time is growing short. I will take my money elsewhere very soon.'" Glenn added.
TheBlaze has had success with the Get TheBlaze campaign so far, with five of the top twenty-five cable providers adding the channel to their TV lineup.
