"I don't agree with Zimmerman but I don't think he was guilty"
Glenn is on vacation this week, but that didn't stop him from taking a moment to tweet his thoughts on the verdict in the Zimmerman trial. From the beginning, Glenn has been clear that he does not support George Zimmerman, but he wanted to see Zimmerman receive a fair trial in light of all the coverage the case received. Ultimately, however, we can all agree that justice belongs to the Lord.
UPDATE: Lots of commenters below have taken this tweet to mean that Glenn believes that justice wasn't served in Florida. Glenn e-mailed GlennBeck.com and said "I don't agree with Zimmerman but I don't think he was guilty".
While many on Twitter were rushing to make promises of violence and shouting "no justice, no peace", Glenn was praying only for peace. He also chastised any public figures who would use this incident to inflame already high tensions across the country rather than to move forward and heal.
