Could this threat plunge America into to the Dark Ages?

This week's episode of For The Record, TheBlaze's investigative team dove into a threat that most American's have never heard of, an electromagnetic pulse of EMP. It may be the gravest threat facing this country, as it could wipe out almost all technology and electronics.

As For The Record explained, if an enemy detonated a nuclear warhead high in the atmosphere over the US, it could destroy the electrical grid. And a Congressional committee that studied the threat determined that half of all Americans could die in the year that followed.

The potential threat of an electromagnetic pulse attack or EMP has been documented and is all too real. Some of America's enemies may either already have the technology to pull off such an attack or be very close to developing it. And based on their own words, they may be willing to use it to destroy the nation they call "The Great Satan."

The threat of an electromagnetic pulse against our electrical grid has been documented. In 1962, the Starfish Prime nuclear test damaged or destroyed electronics in Hawaii. The military was so concerned that it immediately raced to protect its own systems, but 50 years later the civilian electrical grid has no protection against EMP whatsoever. That means an EMP attack on the United States could knock out power for months or even years.

For viewers of The Glenn Beck Program, this is far from the first time this topic has been discussed. Waaaaaay back in February 2012, Glenn had Frank Gaffney and other experts onto his show to discuss potential threats to America, specifically those  threats coming from radical Islamists in the Middle East. On that episode, Frank Gaffney explained how Iran could devastate the United States with an EMP.

Glenn Beck loves Coca-Cola. So much so, in fact, that he refuses to drink Pepsi if Coke isn't available. But now he says the time has come for him to give up his favorite soda. Why? Because the Coca-Cola Company's legal department just announced some new radical policies that sidestep the government and usher in what Congress can't.

On the radio program Wednesday, Glenn said he's drawing the line: "No longer will there be ANY Coca-Cola products in my house."

He explained that the Atlanta-based beverage giant aims to "accelerate the diversity of the legal profession" by requiring law firms that work with it to enact "systematic change" and "mandate" diversity in their firms, and report the makeup of their teams back to the corporation — or face financial consequences for noncompliance.

Glenn explained how mandates like this could effect everybody — even the guy working on the factory line or the truck driver delivering the drinks — and he said he believes Coke's new move is nothing less than a circumvent of the Constitution. And this is just one company doing an end run around the Constitution. What will happen when the rest of the Fortune 500 companies (especially those in support of the Great Reset) join in?

New York state Democratic Attorney General Letitia James recently reported that the state's coronavirus nursing home deaths could have been undercounted by as much as 50%. In response, New York Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo (D) said, "But who cares — 33 [percent], 29 [percent] — died in the hospital, died in a nursing home. They died."

Fox News senior meteorologist Janice Dean, who lost both of her in-laws to COVID-19 in a New York state nursing home, joined "The Glenn Beck Radio Program" to discuss how the mainstream media is finally starting to catch wind that Gov. Cuomo may not have handled the pandemic perfectly.

"It's been 10 months that I've been covering this governor, and he continues to really surprise me with his arrogance, his narcissism, his stupidity," Janice said of Gov. Cuomo.

Janice lambasted the governor's COVID response, in particular his March 25 directive to put coronavirus-infected elderly patients into the state's nursing homes to free up hospital beds. According to the Associated Press, Gov. Cuomo's mandate led to more than 4,500 COVID-positive patients living in what Gov. Cuomo called "the optimum feeding ground for this virus."

"I have been shouting from the mountaintops for 10 months ... talking about Cuomo and the mandate to put COVID-positive patients in a nursing home, and the fact that this governor continues to hide the numbers," Janice stated. "The Justice Department had an investigation into [Cuomo] and he didn't give any information, Glenn. I got it from a top source with the Justice Department, the top investigatory unit in the nation, and he wasn't giving them information. So [AG James] took it upon herself to investigate him, and came up with the fact that the numbers have been skewed. He's been basically covering them up for many months now, and they're at least 50% higher than they've officially been reporting."

Janice also noted an article in the New York Times that reported at least nine high-level health department officials have resigned in recent months over disrespectful treatment form the governor. Gov. Cuomo responded to the criticism by borrowing a line from Mike Tyson: "Everybody has a plan until I punch them in the face."

"[Cuomo was] basically saying, 'I don't need anybody. I know who I rely on ... hospital lobbyists'," Janice explained.

"Top donors, not scientists ... hospital lobbyists, that give [Cuomo] millions of dollars, are whispering in his ear about the nursing home issue and the vaccine rollout. This is criminal ... it's criminal," she added. "We need to take his powers away. He has control over everything. They gave him superpowers, so no one can challenge him. And I've been saying to lawmakers, grow a spine. You have a lot of ammunition now against this governor. Go in, and take his powers away. We are a democracy, not a monarchy."

Are we alone in the universe? Harvard Professor of Astronomy Avi Loeb says he believes the scientific community should at least have an open mind about it.

On this week's episode of the Glenn Beck Podcast, Avi broke down the details of a mysterious object scientists in Hawaii discovered floating through our solar system in 2017, and explained why the object — later named "Oumuamua," a Hawaiian word that roughly translates as "scout" — can't easily be explained as a comet or rock. Could this be evidence of something extraterrestrial?

Cara Dumaplin is more than certified to provide her Instagram and social media followers with tips and tricks to help their new babies sleep: she's a mom of four, neonatal nurse, wife of a pediatrician, and a certified pediatric sleep consultant.

Cara has earned a large following since 2013, now with 1.3 million followers on her TakingCaraBabies Instagram account. And, according to Breitbart, she has a very non-controversial past. But that all ended when Jamie Grayson, a fellow parenting influencer, tweeted a screenshot of Federal Election Commission records showing that Cara had done the unthinkable: she and her husband donated to former President Trump's campaign.

Now, parents are reportedly "furious," and not only are they questioning her advice, but some are even trying to destroy her business. Of course, the media didn't hesitate to join the fray by suggesting that Cara (and anyone who supported Trump) must now atone for their actions.

Vox questioned whether "influencers and celebrities" should be held "accountable" for their political opinions:

"Under a Biden presidency, will influencers and celebrities be able to skate by without speaking out about political issues just because Trump is no longer in the White House, or will they be held accountable by the followers who make their livelihoods possible?"

And far-left website Salon took the question of "accountability" to a whole new level:

"Predatory providers whose actions are not supportive of all families and cause harm to vulnerable communities don't deserve our protection or our sympathies — despite all the protestations of 'cancel culture' that are disingenuously thrown out to circumvent accountability."

On the radio program Friday, Glenn Beck reminded listeners that there is a way you can help this "mommy blogger" withstand these baseless attacks from the left.
