When then-Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney declared Russia to be the greatest geopolitical threat to the United States, he was quite literally laughed out of the room by President Obama, then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, then-Senator John Kerry (D-MA), and the mainstream media. On radio this morning, Glenn took a look back at some of his own comments from 2012 that seemingly predicted much of what is happening today as Russia continues to stake its claim as a world power while diminishing the importance of the United States.
Pat and Stu dug up some audio from the fall of 2012 in which Glenn laid out why Russia is in fact the bigger geopolitical threat. While Al Qaeda is undoubtedly a threat to U.S. national security, Russia poses a different kind of problem for the U.S.

Flash forward to today, and we find ourselves in a situation very similar to the one Glenn discussed. Earlier this week, the BBC seemingly confirmed an investigation TheBlaze began months ago involving Russia and China’s influence in the 2008 financial crisis. As the Obama White House continues to prove itself to be an utter failure on the world stage, Glenn broke down the “massive warning sign” we are currently facing and “what is really happening in today’s world.”
“We're being ground like a tomato in the Heinz factory right now. Mr. President, Neville Chamberlain called. He would like his appeasement strategy and naiveté back,” Glenn said. “What is really happening in today's world… It is time for a complete change of mind.”
