Yesterday, the floor crew at Mercury Studios all dressed up in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle gear (check out the photos below) and went to go see the new TMNT movie. They even asked Glenn if he wanted to go with them.
"My 10-year-old son is going to drag me to it, so I'll take him, but I'm not going with a group of grown men, thank you," Glenn joked.
But today, their childhood memories of the popular franchise were left just a little bit tainted. What did they think of the new film?
Some of TheBlaze team dressed up for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
"Probably the most excited for this movie I have been in years," said Justin, who operates the jib. "Grew up with it."
"The turtles were well-done, meshed well, chemistry was great, but the vehicle that carried the turtles, which was the movie that surrounded them, was not good. If you're a critic, you can't give it a good rating, but as a turtles fan, I was happy with the turtles. You could cut out the rest of the movie and I would be happy," he said.
Even though the movie wasn't great, Justin and the rest of the guys had a lot of fun.
"We had fun being excited for this movie together," he said.
"They described it as a bunch of turtle action scenes, which I'm sure were amazing, and then Megan Fox," Stu said.
