Jordan Gonzalez, an 11-year-old Florida student, recently lost his best friend to suicide. His friend, 14-year-old Lamar Hawkins III, shot himself in school bathroom. He was reportedly bullied. Gonzalez is dealing with bullies as well, and he recently wrote a note to his mother saying he too is contemplating taking his own life.
Below is a photo of the note:

A member of Glenn’s team learned of Gonzalez’s story and decided it is important to show this young man the world “is a much bigger, better place than what he has seen so far.” A Facebook page titled Love for Jordan Gonzalez has been created, and, on radio this morning, Glenn asked his audience to consider posting a message of love and encouragement on the page.
“It's a horrible, horrible situation and story. We need to reach out to this kid because there's other kids like them. Kids are killing themselves,” Glenn said. “I want you to go there and post something for him. But make it so all other kids as well, who might be thinking that this is a logical thing to do, show them some love.”
