For the first time since they’ve been polling, public interest in the mid-term election is plummeting as the election draws near. People seem completely and utterly disinteresting in the elections, despite being such a critical time. Why are people disengaging? And is it a bad thing? Glenn explains on radio today.
"You want passion? You want passion? You should have put somebody in who had a different idea. But right now these guys, both the Republicans and the Democrats, they have the same idea. And it's the same idea the progressives have been jamming down our throat since the Republican president Theodore Roosevelt. Since the Republican Theodore Roosevelt started the progressive party. This is the same act they've been giving us and pretending that it makes a difference between the two parties. It doesn't. They're the same party. They're the Progressive Party. Period," Glenn said.
"Stop making it seem like there are two parties. There's no Republicans or Democrats. There are progressives and non-progressives. There are those progressives, and then those who believe in the Constitution. I happen to believe in the Constitution."
"The progressive party was started by the Republicans. Period. And you'll notice, you'll notice as soon as I started saying that, you'll notice how quickly the establishment started to run from me."
