In a stunning admission, Van Jones said Democrats purposefully destroyed Sarah Palin and painted her as stupid because they were ‘afraid’ after her amazing convention speech. They saw her as smart and a threat - so they made stuff up about her and destroyed her political career. Sounds an awful lot like a… war on women.

"Sarah Palin, people forget, she had the Democratic party shaking in our boots in 2008. She came out and she gave that speech at the convention. That was hands down one of the best convention speeches, not by a woman, by anybody in 2008. People were running for the hills. And she somehow has managed to tear apart her own legacy both with bizarre tweets, weird stuff, and then the family drama," Van Jones said.
TheBlaze's Dana Loesch was confused by Van's comments. At the time, the left did nothing but mock Palin for being stupid, but now he admits they were scared of her.
"Okay. I'm confused," Dana responded. "Because at first she was so stupid. That's what I heard from the left. She is so stupid. Katie Couric asks her a question as to what she reads for her news at the start of the day. So I don't know what narrative it is. Either she's so stupid - everybody made fun of her from Megan McCain to John McCain - or she was so brilliant."
Glenn didn't appreciate Van's light-hearted tone.
"He laughs about it. He says, now, the truth can be told because the damage has been done. We've destroyed her. We've taken her out. Now we're onto taking on destroying someone else. Ah, ah, ah. Now, it can be told because there no way to repair Sarah Palin. Think about that. Is this who you want to be? Is this who you want to be associated with?" Glenn said.
