After a phone call with a listener in need of help, Glenn went into a discussion of faith and miracles. As the guys pointed out on radio, not every miracle is going to look like the parting of the Dead Sea. It could just be a series of seeming coincidences that lead you to be exactly where you need to be.
"Do not dismiss coincidence. If you make one change in your life, it's that. Do not dismiss coincidence," Glenn said.
Ed, a listener who called looking for help with his alcoholism, isn't the only one who got miracle today by getting through to Glenn. Another caller was impacted by the call just as much as Ed was.
"I was literally sitting in my car outside the office with a bottle of vodka in my hand ready to take a drink when Ed came on. And he explained his story, and you replied with your answers, and it was just incredible. Because I was thinking in my head that, hey, I need an answer because this ain't right." Rob said.
"I said, I'm sitting outside the office during my lunch hour with a bottle of vodka in my hand, and something is just not adding up here. And sure enough, Ed calls in, and he says everything that I would say to you. And you come back with a response that just makes total sense. And it was a total wake-up call, and I appreciate the fact that you stand up for what's right."
"It's so amazing how all of us are so connected. It's just like -- we don't -- I don't think any of us understand that it's like when you go serve somebody, you know, you think you're helping them and, indeed, they're actually helping you. And you just don't see the ripple effect in lives. I mean, if there's one thing about God, he is efficient. He is just going to, you know, take care of several problems at once," Glenn said. "And the ripple effect is incredible."
