Last night, Glenn jotted down a few thoughts about his day and how this audience has been changing his life:
A few thoughts:
Ed is going to have a huge impact on my and many lives — hopefully his own foremost. His call today touched a soft spot in many people, I am going to do a whole show a week from next on him and his call.
Why is it always Ed? Does anyone remember the name of the desperate caller in 2008 that was giving up that inspired the 9.12 project? Ed!
Thank you for all of your prayers. They are changing my life. I needed them badly. More on Monday about that.
Finally, I love you. I really do. Read your posts and you will understand why.
As my grandfather used to say: "they're good people." You are indeed. In fact to be even clearer: You are "in deed".
He also talked a little about what was going on at home with Tania away with family for the weekend:
Tania is gone until Sunday night. She goes once a year with her mom and sister for a weekend. Great tradition.
So it is mr. Mom. We just watched a rocky and bull winkle. I haven't seen one since I was a kid. But Cheyenne wanted to watch something on the Disney channel. I don't mean to be rude, but does Disney think our kids need to be playas and hookers? What is the deal?
Walt would be pissed. So now, we are all piled into my bed like the grandparents in willie wonka. I am going to miss this when they are too old to cuddle.
They have music lessons tomorrow and then to the studio with dad. I am filming a really cool and VERY different end of year special as a 90 year old man that I think you will really like. But Raphe and I are filming something very short for Monday as well. I wasn't sure how to share this with you exactly and then this came to me.
It is my worst nightmare. Maybe yours too. But we are moving through it and as I said on today's show, we can either hide or live. I want to live and love. Life is worth it. Notice every second. Notice every thing. Cherish every moment.
God bless. See you tomorrow on the radio.
From Dallas, goodnight America.
