Did you see what happened on MSNBC? Probably not, their ratings are abysmal. But a small, small fraction of masochistic viewers were treated to something amazing in the aftermath of Tuesday's election. A tiny dose of common sense truth managed to make it's way out of Ed Schultz's mouth. What did he have to say?
"Last night was a complete rejection of the President of the United States and what he stands for. You can't sugarcoat it. There were four main Democratic themes in this election that simply did not work. Democrats focused on income inequality, the war on women, voting rights, and fighting bad trade deals. Now, those themes, well, they just didn't ring true with voters, and just didn't ring true with voters on the ground," Schultz said.
"That's amazing. I think he's right. That's the first actual true thing Ed Shultz has ever said," Pat laughed.
