The Patriots dominated the Colts in the AFC Championship with a 45-7 victory. They'll be facing the Seahawks at the Super Bowl XLIX, but the NFL is now investigating some suspicious activity from Sunday's game that could hurt the Patriots next season.
Indianapolis reporter Bob Kravitz tweeted out Monday that the NFL was investigating whether the Patriots deflated footballs during the game, making them easier to handle in the game's windy condition.
He tweeted:
Breaking: A league source tells me the NFL is investigating the possibility the Patriots deflated footballs Sunday night. More to come.

I'm told at one point the officials took a ball out of play and weighed it. Should hear more tomorrow on this subject.

If true, the Patriots could lose draft picks next season.
Even though the team is under investigation, Kravitz admitted the deflated balls didn't really impact the Patriot's dominant victory.
Nobody is suggesting this is why the colts lost obviously. They were manhandled.

"Cheaters do win. That's what we learn from the Patriots. Used to be my parents told my winners never cheat, but the Patriots win and cheat all the time," Pat said.
"I don't really care, but if it's true, they should not got to the Super Bowl," Glenn said.
"Hard to be rewarded for that behavior. It's a multiple time thing," Stu pointed out. "They have been accused of several things that haven't been proven and they have actually have proven they did cheat right before a Super Bowl, how many times have they gotten away with stuff we don't know about? How are they the only team that's able to continually do the things they do, no matter what happens? Win twelve games every year, magically. It is amazing."
"It tarnishes a win they would have had either way. They obviously destroyed the Colts," Stu said.
