A sad, sad day for absolutely no one in America: Harry Reid has announced his upcoming retirement. We’re going to miss all of his words of wisdom, like calling out smelly tourists and saying he loved Obama because he didn’t have a ‘negro dialect’. Thanks for all the great years of ‘service’ Har. Glenn reacts to the sad news on radio.
"Harry Reid is retiring. And this is coming as a shock to even some of his supporters because last week, they got an email out about a fundraiser that he was holding," Glenn said.
"I stand by something we've said for a long time. He's ill. There's something wrong with him," Glenn said. "Something is wrong. We've been saying for a while we think that he's been slipping for quite some time. His mental agility isn't there anymore. And now, all of a sudden, after saying he would have a fundraiser for his 2016 campaign, now he's going to retire. Doesn't make any sense."
"We wish him the best. Glad he's out," Glenn said. "Wish someone would have beaten him so he would have left that way. But he's leaving. I'm glad he'll be done in Washington, but I don't wish him ill. And if he is indeed sick, I would hope that the people around him love him more than the power that is associated with him and let him spend his last few years in peace and in health."
