Rand Paul's campaign is off to a great first week. When asked about his stance on abortion, Paul flipped the tables and told reporters to go ask the DNC and Debbie Wasserman Schultz how they feel about ending the life of an unborn baby.
"Why don’t we ask the DNC: Is it OK to kill a 7-pound baby in the uterus?" Paul said, Politico reports. "You go back and go ask Debbie Wasserman Schultz if she’s OK with killing a 7-pound baby that’s just not born yet. Ask her when life begins, and ask Debbie when she’s willing to protect life. When you get an answer from Debbie, come back to me."
Glenn was impressed with the move.
"He is very smart, and he is playing this exactly right so far coming out of the gate," Glenn said. "listen what he did here. He has said. You know what, I'm tired of this uneven playing field. You're not asking them about abortion. You're not asking them about abortion. You're not asking them about evolution. You're not asking them any of these questions. You're only singling us out. You go ask them. And when you get her answer, you come back. Now, that's the first thing he did, which I think is brilliant."
"But he didn't just say go ask anybody," Glenn said. "He said go ask the dumbest person in the Democratic party who happens to be leading the DNC."
"Only 14 percent of Americans support [abortion in the third trimester]," Stu said. "She's advocating as the head of the DNC for a position that is supported by less than 14 percent of the American people. And we're the radicals? We're the people out of step?"
