It’s rare to get a positive message out of Hollywood anymore, so whenever someone has a message that kids need to hear we want to highlight it. Robert Downey, Jr. delivered a touching speech at the MTV Movie Awards about addiction, second chances, and hard work.
"I want to play the Robert Downey Jr. audio that we started to play earlier," Glenn said. "I think it's good - whenever you hear somebody in Hollywood that you don't expect to say decent things that our kids should hear, let them hear it."
"In the 34 years that have passed since the birth of MTV, I've grown up, I've struggled, I've failed. I've partied way too much," Downey said in his speech. "I begged for second chances and literally clawed my way to the top."
"I advise you to dream big, work hard, keep your noses clean, be of service, and because you can, define your generation," he continued.
